Sickness

In the morning, Eva woke up due to the alarm beeping. She glared at the alarm clock and turned it off. Eva tossed it on the bedside and again drifted into sleep. After an hour of sleeping, she woke up again.

Miss Luna was there, removing curtains from the window. She saw her mom and again pulled the duvet on her head.

"What happened? I was worried yesterday. You should at least tell me before leaving." Luna came to her and sat on the bed edge.

"You are not answering. What happened? Everything is alright?"

"Yeah, Mom. Everything is alright. I don't want to go to the office. I'm tired. I wanna rest today." Still, Eva has covered her face with a duvet. She didn't want her mother to look at her in this condition.

Luna removed her duvet from her face and placed her hand on her forehead.

"Eva, you are burning. You have a fever. You should tell me."

I will come in a minute. Luna stood and went out.

Eva knows her mother very well. So, she stood and went to the washroom. Eva did some make-over on the bite marks. She didn't want her mother to see.

She was in the washroom when Luna came with porridge in dish and medicine. She knocked on the door.

"Mom, I'm coming."

"Are you all right?"

"Yeah, Mom."

Eva opened the washroom door and saw her mother looking towards her.

She moved to the bed and placed herself in the duvet again.

"Eat this and then take medicine."

Without saying anything, she ate porridge and took medicine because she wanted her mother to go.

"I'm going. You take a rest. Call me if you need anything." Luna placed a soft kiss on her forehead, took the dish, and went out.

When Luna had gone, Eva placed her palm on the neck where Aeryn had to bite her.

Everything from yesterday flashed before her eyes.

Her face became red due to anger. A mocking smile appears on her face.

"You will pay for this, Mr. Aeryn Wilson. Just wait and watch what I will do with you."

Due to a high fever, She drifted off into sleep again.

At noon she woke up. She was feeling good because her fever had reduced. She had a shower and wore a high neck dress to hide her Hickie.

She went out for refreshment. Luna said to accompany her.

"No, Mom. I'm going for some urgent work.`` Then she went out.

Eva went to the Kyoto Garden to relax and to think.

Nature is always a better place to think and to relax. Eva is also a nature lover. After reaching here, she breathed in the air of plants, shrubs, and trees. Eva felt good there were some people also. She saw an old couple who were enjoying themselves. A sad smile appeared on her face. She stayed there till evening.

She reached home at 8 o'clock.

"Where were you? You didn't even pick the call." Luna sounded worried.

"Ohh! Mom. I forgot my cell phone at home."

"What about your fever? How is your health now? Let me check it." Luna put her palm on her forehead and checked her fever.

" You don't have a fever now. But take proper rest. Otherwise, it will come again. Now go and come down after refresh. I'll prepare dinner."

"Mom, I'll have dinner in my room. Send Rebecca(servant) with dinner in my room."

"Okay," Luna smiled towards her and moved towards the kitchen.

Eva went to her room and had a shower. When Rebecca came with food, she had her dinner and went to the balcony. She sat there for some time, But soon she felt the coldness of night and moved towards her bed to sleep.

Before drifting off into sleep, she thought about Aeryn and fell asleep.

On Another side;

Aeryn went to the office at 9 o'clock. He thought about talking to her and clarifying his situation. Not about punishing her, but forcing her.

In-office, he was waiting for her. But she didn't come, he got restless and called Emma, asking her about Eva.

"Sir, mam is not coming today."

"Why? Everything is alright."

"Sir, Actually mam is not feeling well. She had a fever. So, that's why she didn't come."

"Oh! I see." Aeryn got more restless. He saw project work and went to the site to see construction work. After getting free, he went home.

He was getting bad vibes. His sixth sense was telling him, Eva is up to something.

"Aeryn, get ready for something upcoming because your angel is going to be a wild kitten. She won't sit without doing anything."

"See you tomorrow, My wild kitten. If you'd not come, then I'm going to go to your home. Don't force me to go to my extent."
