Episode 1- New school, new people:
Choi Soo-bin's pov:
It was the first day of school and I was incredibly late, I paced up and down the hallways trying to find room 502. 'Where is it?!', I thought as I rushed up and down which caused me to accidentally bump into someone, I stumbled backwards making my glasses fall onto the floor. "Are you okay?", he asked me. I couldn't quite make out his face but just rubbed my eyes and nodded, "I'm okay, thank you", I replied. He reached down to get my glasses when another boy came by and PURPOSELY stepped on my glasses. "HEY!", he shouted after him as he continued walking. I'm not sure what happened but I'm pretty sure he put the middle finger up? "You might want to be careful around here, I'm Huening Kai by the way, but you can call me Kai", he said smiling and reached his hand out to me, I shook his hand replying, "Choi Soo-bin, but you can call me Soobin", and gave him one of my cute smiles. "Nice to meet you Soo-Soo", he said chuckling and pinching my right cheek. I pulled away and gave him a punch on the arm which just made him laugh even harder, "is that the hardest you can do?". "Oh shush", I laughed as I picked up my broken glasses and put them into my pocket, "anyways I better get to class, do you know where room 502 is?", I asked, "that's my class, I'll take you there", "okay", I smiled and we made our way to class.
When we got to class I could feel everyone's eyes pinned on me as if they were in a museum and I was the artifact that no one had ever seen. They all had started school in September whereas I started 3 and a half months late. "Ah here you are, I'm guessing you got lost and our kind Huening Kai showed you the way", said our teacher, I smiled and nodded as Kai made his way to his seat, "I'm Miss Cooper and welcome to English, I hope you feel very welcome", she took out her seating plan, "ah you sit next to Beomgyu, Beomgyu can be a bit silly, if he distracts you, just let me know". I looked around the class while standing near the door, I didn't know who was Beomgyu and my glasses are broken so I couldn't see anything. As I kept staring at the blurred faces in the class, I could tell that I was just embarrassing myself even more, "M-Miss w-who is Beomgyu?", "over there sweetie", she told me in a kind voice pointing towards the back corner table.
I walked over to Beomgyu and slowly sat in my seat staring at him. "You can sit down, I don't bite new guy", he told me laughing. His eyes didn't even make contact with me. How did he know I was looking at him..?! I shook my head trying to come back to my senses and I placed my bag beside me leaning on my ankle. "So what's your name?", "oh I-I'm Choi Soo-bin, Soobin for short", I said as he nodded. We didn't really talk to each other, we only made a few comments here and there, made silly faces and jokes and laughed a bit, I guess I'd have to get use to sitting near him and his annoying voice? but he seems like a really cool guy, heh.
As the bell rang, I sighed and shut my books placing them into my bag and I heard Kai whisper to me. "hey Soo-Soo!", he whisper shouted, I turned around facing him and gave him a facial expression which showed my confusion, "come sit with me and my friends at lunch if you'd like", I smiled nodding and got my bag and headed out waiting for him. "Hey!", he said as he walked out, "let's go?", he asked, "let's go".
