Obsessed with his smile

Likely death

When the stream finished, they had all come together and started talking about who came through.

"We need at least two characters for each profession. That means we need a guardian, an assassin, a healer, a brawler, and an additional dancer. Yuzi is a summoner and Meiren is a dancer. Do you have someone in mind?" Chao asked, sitting down on the chair near the whiteboard.

"Ikonic," Shanshan said and Chao looked at the board. Yitian unpinned the paper from the magnet and put it in the middle. They all went through his stats.

"He is a terrible weaponsmith," Lili added her opinion. Chao nodded.

"But it's not like we need someone exceptional if you are here. You don't want to play, but you still make all of our equipment," Huobai said, not caring anymore. He was the one who said it first, that they were using her for equipment. Lili only laughed and nodded.

"That's true. When I'm here, you don't need many weaponsmiths." Chao shook his head, confused, but then just to shake everything off.

"Is he really a good assassin? I wasn't paying much attention to him," Yixing asked Shanshan. He was looking and focusing mostly on guardians, looking for someone at least as good as him.

"I think he has a different style of playing from me, so I can't fully tell. But I followed him and he was very hidden. Dealing damage just by showing himself for a few seconds. His traps always caught someone, so I might say he has a really good strategy and planning. And oversight over the position of his opponents and teammates." Chao nodded to Shan's evaluation, smiling a bit. It was awesome to finally see Shanshan engaging in their talk; it made Lili's heart flutter.

"So do you agree with ikonic?" Yitian asked, waiting for voting, but that was not needed. Everyone nodded, agreeing with the evaluation. So Yitian moved the character and the paper under Meiren's and Yuzi's papers.

"There is no healer there. No one got through…" Hongjie frowned. Others did too. Now they had only him and no one else. Lili sighed.

"If something happens, I can substitute for Hongjie, but I won't do it often…" she said and their mouths fell open. Lili never agreed to play for them before. But now, she wanted to fit in. No matter what they helped her before and even now, the way they behaved towards her was no different from before. No one would guess she was kidnaped and almost raped. So she wanted to repay them for their kindness.

"So no healer?" Yitian asked while crossing the word assassin he wrote on the board before. Chao nodded together with Lili, so he crossed the word healer, too.

Lei engaged in the talk about the new guardian. They were choosing between two and both of them were weird. But Lili wasn't the one to talk; she was a healer that attacked others. Weirdness itself.

"I think the second one, LORD, is better. He doesn't take unnecessary damage. He thinks about his surroundings and possible traps. I like his style more," Yixing explained. Huobai nodded and looked at Chao.

"Okay, let's then take LORD. You will be the one cooperating with him the most." Lei said, closing the topic of guardian fully. Yixing was a bit surprised by how smoothly it went.

"Of course, we still need a brawler and a second dancer." Chao continued.

"Brawler?" Everyone looked at Wuchen. He raised his hands.

"Don't look at me. I was looking at the dancers. Most of them were women," he said, and Chao actually glared at him, stunned. Hongjie was staring at him, speechless and Shanshan actually facepalmed himself. Lili had to suppress her giggle. Did she not count as a woman? Because he said he wanted some woman on the team… Lili coughed, hiding her laugh. But everyone knew she laughed.

"I have some brawlers," Yinli said, and saved the day, and probably even Wuchen, before Chao killed him.

"These three," Yinli stood up and took three papers from the side, dragged them in the middle, and then thought about it a bit and one was moved further to the 'passed' side of the whiteboard.

"I prefer this one, Cheng Feng Po Lang, but I do not know what about you and Wuchen." Yinli looked down at his shoes. Yitian came up to him and gave a hand on his shoulder, ready to speak. But Chao was actually quicker again.

"Good job. You did more work than the brawler in question that was chasing skirts all the time."

"Hey, it's boring to be all boys. We need some girls," Wuchen exclaimed and Lili looked at him, offended.

"Excuse me? I'm what? Guy?!" she asked, her expression showing she was totally stunned. He said it the second time.

"You are taken. That doesn't count like a girl," Wuchen mumbled, but retracted back on his chair, trying to evade her slap.

"Someone just…" Chao said, speechless. He couldn't even finish his sentence. He just played the videos that Yinli found and thought which brawler would be better for their team.

"I'm all for this one. He is explosive, but he actually knows when to retreat. Unlike someone else," Yitian poked into Wuchen a bit with his words.

"Get him," Chao said and looked at Wuchen.

"This one. Her name means Beauty. Just like Meiren. Belle…" Chao groaned, ready to kill.

"She is actually good. I saw her a few times and the earrings she brought were of good quality," Lili said and saved Wuchen from real and likely death.

She pointed out two more dancers. One was a guy character, and the other was another woman character, but none of them were better than Belle. So they had no other choice than to agree with her.

"So we have our new teammates. I just hope they will all agree and no problem will appear." Chao nodded to all of them, and the meeting was finally finished.

"Are you ready to see your room?" Lei asked, but Lili had no doubts the only thing she would see from their room was the bed and ceiling.
