Genevieve blinks gaping at me like I just said something entirely out of the ordinary.
I totally get her reaction, not many people know about Stefano. Before his accident that night he wasn't the type that went out a lot and mingled or had any friends for that matter.
I was once lucky to have had a good friend, Elio. But Stefano certainly didn't have any even when he was in school, he always kept to himself.
I guess most people are wired that way.
His only friends were me and Allegra plus Mother. He didn't really have a strong bond or friendship with Giovanni like Allegra and I did. The one he had a little bit of friendship with is Andrea before they left for Italy, and Alessandro whenever they visited us here in New York.
Bianca always thought him a weirdo and a creep and Stefano himself outrightly dislikes her. He was quite cool with Camilla and shared a few hi's and hello's whenever they were in the same environment.
