What is this!?!? No. 002

The papers my identification and only connection to myself, gone.

"Daaammit"!, I screamed to the sky. Of course it had rained. Of course I had gotten soaked.

What to do, no identity, no memories, nothing just, my conscience and current knowledge. I grabbed one of the bottles of water and had a drink.

Alright, I have to go find some food and water. Can't figure out who you are if you are dead right? Heh, yeah some food would be nice.

Let's see where I could get something to eat.

I walked through the doors to the kitchen and was shocked, it is remarkable clean and all the stainless steel had a shine to it. I ignored the fridge to spare me the disappointment of the rotting food. I walked to the back and searched for supplies.

Jackpot baby! 2 cans of beef, 3 cans of porridge, around a pound of buckwheat, and a can of condensed milk. A huge haul of food.

There were bottles of water stored and I found a clean pot. There were bags of potatoes, unfortunately they were already growing sprouts and mushy. But, there was the bags which would help me carry the items. I grabbed 2 bags and ripped 1 along the seam at the top and the other ripped a length of sack enough to wrap the pot around my back through its handles. I filled the other sack with the food and made sure to keep the buckwheat bag as sealed as I could to save as much food as possible.

With the bags situated I grabbed 2 kitchen knives and found 2 scabbards luckily and walked to the back door.

I opened the door with my left hand slowly and peaked out. My bag fell to the ground.

The building behind the Cafe wasn't a building anymore, but a crater filled with black water and rubble. I immediately picked up the bag and slowly went outside. The sky was beginning to darken and the sun began to approach sunset.

Time flies when your life is in shambles. I chuckled, oh yes this will be fuuun. Totally won't be a life threatening challenge. I approached the crater with s knife drawn checking for anything that might be alive.

The only thing that I found was an arm on the north side and a leg more west. I guess I remembered my direction. I decided against traveling until I searched a few more buildings. I guess this will be my first night in this war, or whatever caused this to happen.

I made a little room in the booths I grabbed two tables from the other booths and flipped them longways against the seats to make a ceiling and finally I grabbed a third table to make a wall, goodbye light, I closed the tables together, well, almost together, there was a small slit left open so I decided to place the pot over me to hide me and my food. Goodnight world, goodnight everyone, see you all tomorrow when the light shines.
