Resistance

John's gaze shifted between the monster and the shelter. He wouldn't care about Theodore's shelter, but Theodore can easily find a new place. This time it wasn't just about him - there were others in that shelter who couldn't fight for themselves. 

Taking a deep breath, John steeled himself and turned to face the Draconian head on. John was ready for a fight, his eyes blazing with determination. His muscles tensed, and his jaw clenched as he stared down the beast.

Stephanie, Julia and Dalia stepped forward and stood beside John, their weapons at the ready.

"We have to defeat the boss," John said, his voice strained. "If we can't, we're all dead."

"What are we waiting for?" Stephanie asked.

"For the right time," John replied.
