John arrived at the hospital, he slipped past the guards, his Quiet Steps skill silencing his footsteps. He entered the lobby and saw a group of survivors gathered around the front desk, all women. They were whispering and giggling, their eyes darting around the room.

He slipped past them and made his way down the hallway, his eyes scanning the walls and floors for signs of danger.

As he crept through the corridors, he heard voices coming from a nearby room. He peered inside and saw a group of men gathered around a bed, their eyes fixed on the figure lying in the sheets.

The man standing closest to the bed was Adam, the leader of the hospital. He smirked and continued on his way, searching for Laura.

As he reached the end of the corridor, he spotted her, her black eyes staring out the window, her long dark hair flowing in the breeze.
