Chapter 16 Give This A Chance

Alicia wiped the tears streaming down her face, trying to catch her breath from laughing so hard. Much to my dismay Maryanne started to go on a storytelling spree about all my antics as a child up until now.

I didn't think it was so funny. "Come on it's really not that funny." I complained at both of them as they went on laughing about how I used to run around the house in just a cape and my tighty whiteys.

"I'm sorry." Alicia said huffing. "I just can't stop picturing it."

"I was very active as a kid." I stated, "and what kid didn't want to be a superhero when they got older."

"Then there was the time when he decided to be a chef for a day and make pancakes for the whole family." She went on.

Ok I gotta put a stop to this. "Alright, alright. You guys have had your fun. Alicia and I are gonna go once I clean up here."

"You can leave it dear, I have it."

"Are you sure?" I asked.
