Ben vs Yggdra, two chosen ones for different roles

"And that concludes the match between Tinir Kasar and Diana Rixa, with an astounishing win for Diana Rixa"

In the waiting room with soft blue light falling on my skin, a hologram to watch the macthes, speaker built in in the lights, a bed I am sitting on, a snack bar and a door leading out of the room to my right.

the tournament only jump by the fights of Kim Yong as it continued like it should, with The boy with no face, Benjamin, Kim Yong and now Diana Rixa in the next round.

"so now I need to fight in such an idiotic tournament"

My emotions are boiling as only thinking about it mades me angry, we fight in such a tournament mainly to showcase our power but openly show our weakness to our enemies.

Kim Yong is a mysterious many people in the world would love if he fall in this tournament against That boy with no face, but some even want to watch myself fall too by his hand.

"That match was exciting to watch and had a lot of pure combat in it making me shudder even thinking about that they are still children."

The commentator with black hair and common brown eyes in a black suit is sitting on a table with a microphone in front of him, making an excited expression slamming his hand on the table, his face is slowly turning red from the embarrassment oof his excitement.

"we are children huh?"

'How Ironic that you send these children into a war the adults should fight'

My role of my clan, race or family was to be a hero stopping the incoming doom, I like the thought of it as I was six... but now I am not the only one powerful enough to fight them.

The hologram changes the camnera pointing towards the stage with no cracks in it, Diana with one arm ripped off her body walking towards the healer, Tinir with his huge body of muscles on a patient stretcher almost falling off of it, having both arms severly injured and his body has a lot of claw marks on it.

"The next fight will commence in two minutes after the students safety is guaranteed."

The commentator is saying that with a pretty eccentic voice, My eyes are on the referee with her beautiful white shining hair along with her gray eyes looking at the camera

"What is she doing there?"

she stood at the side of the cameras vision however she made some signs with her hands indicating a bird, a wolf, a bull and a crane.

The camera now turns back to the commentator talking about some kind of miracle how this generation will save them and crave them a new path, while I stare at the blue light of the ceiling.

"I need to win this tournament for a chance in the tournament of the human domain.

I could as well beat that Copy cat with the shitty smiling mask on his face while winning that tournament."

Yggdra Pov

My room is a satisfying litle forest with a few beasts in them, but even they couldn't calm my nerves by the thought of fighting Ben.

"I couldn't even relax as the tournament is currently proceeding at full speed with four fights in one hour"

I am lampooning as a little goose comes to me with beautiful green feathers and diamond emerald like eyes, staring at me.

"Hey little friend, what brings you here to me?"

The goose only turned its head looking at me like I asked something stupid...which I didn't know gooses could do.

"you are pretty weird for someone chosen by that tree"

"AAAAHHH!!"

Even though the pressure to become the new bearer of the world trees seeds as well as the queen of the elves is high, It didn't matter right now as a damn goose talked to me!

I step back a few metres not wanting to get beaten by a goose, the goose only is staring at me with curiousity.

"Hmmm you have the qualities to be the new wife of that damn tree but that old geezer only needs your Mana, so marry who you want.

Your fight with that boy will be pretty interesting to watch especially after knowing both of your roles."

I didn't understand what she was talking about as the bell behind me rang, indicating that I need to head to the stage, I turned around to look at the hologram seeing Ben already on the stage.

"Hey goose wha-"

the goose was gone, I head out of the room not thinking to much about it.

Walking down that dark corridor and arriving at the stairs my heart is beating louder than anything else, trying to calm myself while walking up the stairs didn't work moreover is my heart even starting to beat even faster after seeing everyone staring at me.

"Yggdra Meraxes, The pure fairy, the chosen one of the world tree is entering the arena, give her a round of applause"

sounds of people clapping enters my ears but the sound of my heart beating cancelled them out, making me focus all my attention on Ben.

I step on the stage and the woman with white hair and her gray eyes is staring at both of us... or so it is feeling as I am feeling her watching my every action.

"Let the fight Begin!"

The start of the fight is happening and I am chanting an incarnation in elven language, drawing a circle in the air but before I could complete my chant, a kick in my stomach is knocking the air out of my lung.

Yggdra is flying up in the sky as her eyes for a short second rolled back, Ben summons his sword with a serious face, making himself ready to execute his art, his blue eyes starting to glow as well as his hair starting to change color turning from white into gray hair.

He execute his slash, splitting space for a short moment as the trace of it flies upwards at a breakneck speed.

^Boom^

An explosion occured, suprising everyone as Ygddra reveals her chain with spikes on them out of wood from the world tree, clashing with the traces negating by almost half of its power.

'She has a soul bound artifact weapon!'

[Skill: vulnerability of creations has been activated]

Ben activated a skill he used a lot when fighting against Benjamin and Alan, vulnerabilty of creations shows you all weak spots or openings of an opponent, it doesn't matter if it is a weapon or anything else it will try to find a weak spot.

However Ben didn't activate it to find from his opponent the weak spot but to use the hidden perk that comes when activating that skill, He himself is seeing his own weak spots or opening too.

Ben sees a weak spot at his entire legs as soon as Yggdra summoned that weapon thus he jumped up towards her, seconds later beneath him are tree roots following him.

"Tsk"

Yggdra clicked her tongue because of the development of the fight whilst swinging her seemingly never ending chains at Ben as the spikes are glowing with a yellow hue.

Ben is seeing them not backing down at a challenge spinning in the air and swinging his swords at the incoming chain from above, his word glowing in a mysterious black color.

^Boom^

another shockwave with black and yellow hues are clashing in the air not one of them backing down, ripping the roots into pieces and sending one person even more flying and the other one is flying towards the ground.

"WOAAHH WHAT AN EXCITING CLASH OF TWO DIFFERENT MANAS OF PURE INTENTION CLASHING IN EACH OTHER!!"

Ben at the ground isn't seeing any other weak spots on him so he deactivates that skill and activates his other skill.

[Skill: Swordspath Vision has been activated]

[Skill: Gifted Dual swordsman has been activated]

Ben is watching multiple swordpaths, showing to him in blue for the paths he can take with the sword and red for the paths his enemy can take, and isntictual knows already which path to take.

All other paths are vanishing except the one he wants to take, the path his showing him every step, twist and slash he needs to do to come out victorious.

Yggdra also use the soul bound artifacts skill [blessing of the world tree] summoning two spirits, and activates her own skill

[Skill: Eagle eyes have been activated]

The skill made her vision even better and is giving her a watch around herself and along with the chains skill, it gave her a vision similiar to that to a dragons although a lot weaker than a dragon ones.

They both watch each other with their respective eyes, Yggdra with vertical eyes who are now red and blue, Ben with his clear sea blue eyes, and dash towards each other.

The chain is swung at Ben with a lot of strong spikes either burning or high pressured water surrounding them, Spears of fire and spear of water are flying down at Ben too.

Ben is clamly looking at them or at the path that slowly is starting to shine, jumping up towards the sky, materialising a greatsword next to his left hand and beneath him jumping once again, dodging an water spear.

The chain is growing larger with the spikes altogether almost as thick as Ben is tall, slowly reaching Bens right side.

^SWOOSH^

The chain hit nothing as someone with breakneck speed is running up the chain, slicing all the spikes in multiple pieces and blocking the spears of fire and water altogether.

'How does he do that?'

Yggdra never saw someone so easily walking up her chain if she is already bombarding him with all kinds of attacks in disguis as spears, fire bombs, fire waves, oxygen burning, hydrogen explosions, water bombs, hell even Ice attacks and thunder attacks are thrown at him.

'No No No!!'

Yggdra saw everything and realised that if it continues like that she would lose, she made the chains smaller and let everything explode around him, hoping to push him towards the ground..

^Boom^

her explosion caused the security to activate the barrier that protects the citizens yet even this helped Ben only even more..

"How did you do something so reckless and le-"

Yggdra wanted to understand how he can simply jump in an explosion hoping it would boost him upwards nonetheless Ben is slashing towards her arms with his two greatswords.

^crack^ ^crack^

Yggdra blocked it with the chains but the force behind the attack caused the bones in her arms to break, pushing her at an immensive speed down towards the ground.

Ben wasn't finished yet as he materialises a shield and is jumping down to the ground, pushing his two greatswords infront of him and is starting to spin.

the crowd is watching the final attack to end the match, Ben is getting closer to Yggdra who already is hopelessly trying to cast a barrier with chanting.

They are twenty metres from the ground as Ben is reaching her, releasing all his Mana to boost the strength of his attack, He wasn't distinguishing between friend or foe... he is aiming for the kill.

^BOOM^

A huge explosion caused a huge gust of air spreading through the arena, the barrier created was stopping this fast winds to hit the crowd.

The dust is settling and what they saw is causing an uproar in the crowd along wiuth complaints about fairness.

Ben is frozen in the air knocked out as his one greatsword that is entirely black, touching the chest of Yggdras left breast... where her heart is, Yggdra is laying on the ground completely covered by Ice.

"Ben Asylk Astrol, The Hero, The fighter for justice is the winner!"

The referee is shouting with her white hair and gray eyes staring at the two children with complicated feelings.

'This could have ended worse than it already has'

Elena Isa thought this while the people are complaining about all kinds of things, not minding them any attention as she is carrying both students out of the arena to the heal stations.
