An angel flapped his wings and descended towards me. He came so close to me but my blurred visage prevented me from seeing his face. His presence sent fear to the monsters.

His commanding presence sent me shaking with fear. The monsters holding onto me let me go and jumped back in fear.

The other victims were freed and dropped to the ground. I was relieved the angel appeared and saved the people of Westblood. My body ached everywhere. The excruciating pain from the torture still took a toll on me.

My body fell into a strong pair of arms. That held me as though I was weightless. "How are you ever going to save the world when you are the one who always needs saving? " I heard Xerek's familiar voice ring in my ear.
