NOTHING LIKE THE SUN

In her first life, she didn’t expect much, she was an easy going Princess consort that understood she couldn’t have the prince to herself. But when the female lead breaks her head and shows up in her life, she turns a new leaf for the worse. Blood was shed by her own hands. In her eyes, no one was innocent, not even a baby or the nine generations of the female lead’s family that had nothing to do with her. So when God suddenly became blind and offered her another chance, Ha! She will kill them all before the blink. A/N. I hope this is enough, yeahhhhhh! IM SUPPER SUPER EXCITED. Also I’m a bit slow on writing I hope this will give me some more enthusiasm. Okay, I’m have the best news ever, this book will be free until I finish writing. When I’m done, I may rearrange a few chapters then lock it. So savor! OML IM SO EXXXCCCCIITTTTEEED!! Clarification: There will be romance because.... what’s the world without it. IKR ROOOMMMMAAANNCCCEEE. Because no boy is as good as a paperback boy! Except, I’m having a bit a problem with the male leads personality. I don’t want to have sharp contrasts. But- oh wait... writing this has given me an idea. Anyway, it’s like two Main leads are fighting for room in my head. 2. I doubt there will be smut scenes. Because I’m never in the mood. Lei Wenyan thought, 'did they push all the blame to a maid?' Otherwise what was she be so tearful and scared about? It would make sense why there were no palace maids and she had to be taken back home. The other maids must have been beheaded and this one must have been left to act sorry for the rest of her life.

Lei Wenyan felt she had to applaud the emperor. It was a hasty plan but it served its purpose. Later she would polish it up and do away with any rumors.

She chuckled and folded her arms, her tone mocked, "What's this? You ran away and they threw you right back."

"Young Miss, I swear I didn't run away," the maid was slightly confused but there were more important matters. She held the hem of Lei Wenyan's sleeping gown and pleaded, "Please go back inside young Miss."

"WHAT'S THIS NONSENSE ABOUT YOUNG MISS?" Lei Wenyan shouted. The very sound of that title was getting on her nerves. It made her feel the realization of the worst possible incident, "You mustn't want your life. Stop acting like a fool. Show me proper respect."

Her title: Your highness. She was a majesty not a Miss. The emperor can't have divorced her, by the time he kept her alive there must still be room for her.

The maid jumped in fear. The maid felt that she deserved this kind of treatment. If it hadn't been for the fact that she wasn't present at the scene, she would have already lost her life.

Her quavering form bowed silently. In such situations, it was best to stay silent and let Miss take out all her anger. Speaking may make her Miss more angry.

The more the maid kept silent, the angrier Lei Wenyan got. She assumed that the silence was assuring her of her worst fear: she didn't want to be called Miss but the maid still couldn't call her Highness because the title was no longer hers.

Lei Wenyan wanted to scream. Instead, she kicked the maid.

The little maid screamed in pain as she landed roughly on the cold snow. Her face was slightly bruised but she still scrambled back to her knees, crying bitterly.

Lei Wenyan heaved. The cold against her skin had become irritating and her body felt hot all over. The sound of crying a few feet away was even more irritating.

"STOP CRYING!" Lei Wenyan barked and the courtyard fell into silence.

She can't have been divorced. Divorce without her knowledge? Preposterous! Unacceptable!

It must all be that slut's fault. She must have seduced his majesty into a mind to divorce. But she can't be divorced. There's no deed. She must first find the deed.

Yes! I can't just jump to conclusions.

With that, she took a deep breath although her anger was still simmering. She look at the sniffling maid on the ground and rolled her eyes.

"Look at me."

The maid kept her head down. Young Miss was already mad at her. "This maid is not worthy," she sobbed.

Lei Wenyan rolled her eyes and mumbled furiously, loud enough for the maid to hear, "All the poison the sweet mouth gives!"

The maid bowed even lower. She was well aware of the threat behind it. It was better to drive the nail home instead of dodging fate. "This maid has sinned greatly. I deserve to be drink poison. "

"Finally speaking sense. Well, I might as well fulfill you," Lei Wenyan said.

The maid wept. Hot tears streamed down her face and her chest burned with sorrow. Ever since she was born, her fate was never in her hands. If fate prepared anything, she'd have to take it willingly.

Her eyes lowered into slits. Lei Wenyan wasn't stupid. She believed that they must have sent the maid back to keep an eye on her under the pretense of a reformation. Lei Wenyan planned on playing their game just a little before she used their own pieces to crash them.

She took two steps to the maid. Squatted down to her level and grabbed her chin so that they were face to face. She squeezed the chin tightly.

The maid winced a little but didn't try to breathe.

Her voice was menacing, sounding at a dangerously low frequency, "Your biggest mistake was coming back. I'll watch you all bleed to your graves before you take me down."

What the maid saw in her mistress's eyes was cold, blood thirty hatred. Her aura leaked that kind of venom that would kill the greatest body cultivator just by the smell. And for the poor maid, it was too much to handle. She directly fainted.

Lei Wenyan tossed the chin and the body collapsed onto the snow. She stood, dusted her hands and walked back into her quarters.

Despite her frozen legs, she walked to the drawers and started to search for the deed. Before long as he found out that there wasn't even a single thing from the palace in her room. She looked for at least a hair pin, a scarf, anything. There was nothing.

A thought occurred to her- Divorced women were always kicked out with nothing, not even their own dowry.

Lei Wenyan bit her bottom lip to hold back her anxiety. With every drawer that lacked a deed or a palace item, her body became increasingly uncomfortable.

He can't have.

She tried to stand but her she suddenly lacked energy.

There's no deed, there's no divorce.

She tried to convince herself.

'I should prepare to go back to the palace and tell the emperor that I've regained my health,' she thought to herself.

There were no palace maids because they were never allowed to leave the palace. But wouldn't she at least have a hair pin? Why would she bring any palace items to the lei household when she belongs in the palace?

'Yes. That must be it.' She nodded to herself and calmed her heart.

Quietly, she pushed the drawers back inside and glanced at her reflection in the mirror on top of the chest drawers. She looked away nonchalantly. She was already aware of her looks- nothing new. She had other things to prepare for.

She went back into her bed to warm herself up and collect her thoughts.

To be honest, I'm a bit scared about this book. At first I didn't mind but after seeing people getting rewards (my jealousy is at work here) and receiving no comments on my book, it kinda brings back that old feeling of wanting to achieve the best. And it's so stressful to be like that. But I can't help it. Argggh! Butt imma do my best to relax and take it easy. It's not a competition. I did write a book once before and it basically didn't do as well as I was hoping so I just dropped it. Ai! I'll have to do this one without caring about how bogus it is. Sometimes I want to blame my boring writing on my little exposure (seriously, my mum literally locked me up in the house for half my life. It was always school (gated) to car (no stops) to home (gated) then repeat.) But hey! Maybe I'm just naturally boring because some other locked up people have more thrilling imaginations.
