“Shoot the tires as he turns into the driveway.”

“His bodyguard won’t let him get out of the car until he’s secured the area.”

I nodded, looking at him. “This has just become a two-man operation.”

“With you up there.” Coop pointed at the tree. “Me…where?” He moved to the entrance to the memorial park. “This would work,” he said. This was a low stone wall separating the sidewalk from the house that was cattycorner to the garage. “I can get off a couple of good shots from here. The bodyguard will come after me while one of the security guards in the house will take care of getting the judge and his wife safely from the car into the garage. Or he’ll try to, but that’s when you take out the judge.”

“That should work. In the confusion, we’ll both get gone.”

“Get gone? Where the hell were you brought up?”

I flipped him off. “Don’t go getting all grammatical on me.”

He laughed. Then we worked out the exact logistics of the plan, down to the nitty-gritty.
