Chapter 2

After our brief introduction we were taking to section that was a little further from the palace. This is were pur role will be assigned to us and for the first time in a long time I felt that being powerless worked put for me.

Since I didn't have any power of some sort I was not allowed to work at the palace which made me overly happy .

I was one of the maids assigned to make sure that the surroundings was clean at all time. While the some worth powerful ones get to do more important works there.

It's been three months since I started working here at the palace and I will say that besides have your own business the palace pays well,which makes me wonder how much the guards and the rest of the high profile workers receives.

For the last three months that I have been working in this place I still can't pinpoint the mystery of this place.

Every time I try to study the route of the palace and my surroundings I end up for getting about it which leads me to being lost,confuse and embarrassed because I have to ask for direct to the place I am suppose to be working. Which also makes them look at me with that "is she stupid look" but they end up showing me again.

During the past few months of my stay I have not seen any of the royal which leaves me confuse and in wonder if there is any royal family. well I didn't have to wait too much because I hard that the "king soon to be wife" was coming to the palace . But I am not bother because I have no connection with the palace so I am free to do ehat ever I want. while I was lost in thought, I hard someone calling my name like a mad dog which made me turn.

Abigail!! Abigail!!

it was the same girl I had beef with the first day I arrived at the palace. she wanted to pick on me like I was an easy target or something, and I must say my face make them believe that. I mean I look innocent and cute that one will have to think a million time before accusing me of killing a bug.

She looks at me with a disgusted face like she saw something that could make her puck but I know my appearance was very nice and pleasant to look and I can tell that it was Jealousy because it was clearly shown on her face.

"What are u daydream about she ask with a furry clearly showing all over her face",without giving me a chance to talk or defend myself she ordered me to go work at the entrance of the palace.

I had no idea of what was going on so I ask a friendly look maid what was going on and she looked at me like I was some alien.

"which planet did u come out from? weren't u informed that the king soon to be wife was going to arrive today?she said while arranging the flowers.

Well I wasn't expecting her to answer my question with another question nut at least I kinda got my answer.

Having the feeling that if I was to ask her another question she will probably not answer me I focus on the task that was assigned to me. After a while we could hear the sound of trumpet resounding all over the whole place which was the indication that the princess has finally arrived at the palace .

We stop what we were doing as a carriage that was beautifully designed with white and gold design. it was the most beautiful thing I have seen and I could feel the energy that was coming from the carriage. It was quite inviting or that was what I thought until I could feel a piecing gaze coming from the carriage which made me weak on the knees and confuse as to why I felt a hostile gaze from the carriage, so I bowed my head and didn't raise it until the the carriage was our of sight.
