Double rescue mission

Shu stood up from his seat and went to look around. He thought Flora was playing a trick on him. He walked passed all his invention and treasures that he stored. As soon as he walked passed the Phoenix statue, Shu knew what was going on, he looked at the Phoenix, "Did you do it again, look I don't have enough power to get her out so why don't you be a good boy and let her out of there?"

Smoke came out of the Phoenix statues mouth, Shu then proceeded to hit it's head, "So now you've decided to speak back to me?"

Shu paced back and forwards, stroking his chin. Then his face lit up. he knew exactly how to get Flora out of the Phoenix. Shu walked away from the statue, heading towards the door. Before he left he looked at the statue and said, "Don't go anywhere." He then laughed at himself for making such a 'good' joke.

Shu was running across the whole courtyard, it was already the morning, until he reached a door which looked quite familiar. He pushed it open and saw Ace sitting on by the table drinking tea while Xenon was fast asleep.

Ace was taking a sit of his tea when he looked up and saw Shu panting, "Were you running?"

Shu was trying to catch his breath and speak at the same time, "Flora is trapped."

"What are you talking about?"

"She accidently looked into the eyes of the Golden Phoenix and now it's taken her captive."

"The what? Is she going to be safe?"

"That is what I'm not sure about, I don't have much power left after making that freezing lacrima. And now I need you and Xenon to go inside and get her out."

Ace stood up from the chair and walked over to Xenon, then splashed his tea on his face. Xenon woke up instantly, "Did I drown!!??" He said in a loud voice.

"Get up, we need to save Flora." Said Ace.

What? Did something happen to her?"

"I will tell you both story on the way to my secret room." Responded Shu.

All three exited the room and headed towards the room, Shu told them what had happened.

"How are we supposed to enter a statue?" Asked Xenon.

"The same way Flora entered." Answered Shu. "By looking at it's eyes."

"Will this even work?" Asked Ace.

"Probably." Said Shu. "We are here."

There was a wall full of plants, Shu went up to the wall and lifted up a big flower that was sitting on it. He pulled a lever, it looked like nothing happened. Shu then walked behind a big tree, Xenon and Ace followed him, there was an opening in the tree with a staircase leading down.

Shu went down the stair and Ace followed, but Xenon was quite scared, he thought it might be a death trap. Hesitantly he followed everyone else.

When the were at the bottom of the stairs, Xenon grabbed onto the back of Ace's clothing, as he was scared. The was pretty big, but it was full of stuff, you could probably get lost in all these things.

Shu lead the two towards the Phoenix statue. When they got there Shu looked at them both with a serious look, usually Shu was silly person, but he felt different. "This is the statue that ate Flora."

Xenon didn't pay attention to what Shu had said, he was drawn to the eyes of the Phoenix, he kept getting closer and closer. Until he disappeared, from Shu's and Ace's sight.

Xenon woke up in a strange looking place, he was laying on straw. He sat up and suddenly saw a skeleton, he quickly crawled up to the skeleton and held it in his arms. "FLORA HOW COULD YOU DIE." Tears swelled up in his eyes. Until he felt something tapping his back, he turned around and saw Flora, standing there in one piece.

Xenon dropped the skeleton and hugged Flora, "Thank goodness you're okay."

"Are you gonna hug me after touching that skeleton?"

"Oh sorry." Xenon let go of her. "What is this place anyway?"

"It's the Phoenixes nest."
