You Have A Boyfriend And A Girlfriend?!!!!

I showered and washed my hair. I went through my closet looking for the perfect out fit. i settled for a simple outfit. a pair of loose baggy Jean, a black tank top and a baggy jacket, I'd actually never worn it before. it was a present from Maddie on my birthday, it was an exact replica of Steven universes jacket from Steven universe future. I hadn't worn it because I thought it was so special because Steven universe my favourite show. I told myself that I'd only wear it on a special occasion. and the first day after my gay awakening is special enough to wear it.

I give myself a once over in the mirror before I grab my backpack and run down the stairs. I see Wendell at the bottom step sitting and tapping on his phone. "hey Wendell"

"hey, kid" he replies. I run past him and stand in front of him, do a runway spin and pose. "got a hot date we don't know about?" he asks and I giggle. "geez, who told me to help you, you're giggling now"

"shut your whore mouth, Wendy, I look good and I'm happy" I say and smile and run for the door

"Mr whore mouth, you aren't wearing any shoes" Wendy yells behind me and I look down at my feet. I run past him again and he smacks my ass.

"why?!!!"

"you need some cheese with that wine and cake" he says smilingly.

"what?" I ask, staring at him confusedly. "what the hell are you talking about, you crazy person?" I say and continued walking. "sometimes these people don't be make any sense" I mutter to myself as I looked for a pair of black sneakers.

my phone pings and look at the screen.

"I'm here, you ready" Maddie's text reads

"yeah, I'm putting on my shoes" I send back to her.

I pick up a pair of neon green sneaks and race down the stairs. "bye whore!!" I scream at Wendell as I run down.

"Bye Caleb's Bitch" he screams right back.

"oh my God, Wendell!!!" I yelled as my face went red. "mom!!! control your goddamn child!!!"

"whose bitch now?" I hear mom say and I bolt for Maddie's car because I will not be forced to talk about how I'm Caleb's bitch.

"wait, do I want to be Cal bitch?" I ask myself as get into Maddie's car.

"whose bitch now?" Maddie asked pulling down her sunglasses. she was dressed in gray baggie cargo pants and a white long sleeve crop top, her hair is short as always and brown and perfect.

"you're pretty" I say softly and she laughs, throwing her head back.

"you're not too bad yourself" she looks me up and down and she literally glows. "you're wearing the jacket"

"isn't it pretty?" I ask her.

"yeah it is, one more think would complete this aesthetic" she says and get out of her seat, she opens the pigeon hole and grabs a blue scrunchie. "turn" I do and she grabs my hair and work around with it. she drops the mirror thingy in the passager seat and I just stare.

my hair was pulled back into a short pony tail, two strands of hair hanging at the sides of my face. "I look good"

"you look perfect" she says and I look at her and smile.

"I love you, Maddie" I whisper.

"I love you too, babe" she say and as we're about to hug, someone starts banging on the car window.

I turn around and see Wendell standing there shirtless in our lawn. "oh my God, Wendell!!" Maddie screams and rolls down my window.

she jumps over me and climbs out the window to hug Wendell. "Maddie bear, how are you?"

"fine now that you're here, your brother has been torturing me since you left" she whines cuddle.

"alright stop this whole exchange now, before I wind up the window and cut you in half" I tell them and guess what they did, you guessed right, they ignored me. me!!!. "whores"

"bitch" the both say at the same time.

"oh, how I've missed you my dearest Madeline" Wendell proclaims. "my heart had never felt as empty as it did when you weren't here"

"oh my dearest Wendell, in your absence, my heart has consisted of nothing but emptiness and your presence has filled that emptiness in it" Maddie says back.

"huh, that was actually pretty good" Wendell says and smiles.

"I honestly really missed you" Madeline say.

"I know. but babes, you grew up, look at you" he gives here a once-over. "wow. are you single by any chance?"

"are you a woman by any chance?" she replies.

"ah, lesbians, such beautiful creatures" Wendell says, he leans in to the window. "I've been gone for less that two years and here the both of you are, gay as fuck" he pretend to wipe a tear from the corner of his eyes. "they grow up so gay"

"shut up!!!" I yell. I'd listen to their conversation and I'd realized some. they are crazy. "you're both crazy"

"maybe" he says and pulls out the phone. as it pings.

"who's that?" I ask as he looks at his screen. he looks at me and smiles, leaning closer to me.

"can you keep a secret?" he whispers to me.

"not really, but I can try" i whisper back.

"what are you two whispering about?" Maddie whispers by my ear and I squeal. "what the hell was that sound that came out of your mouth?. it sounded like a dying old lady"

"Hardy har har" I turn to Wendell. "now tell us the secret"

"well... " his face goes a bright red.

"ohhhh" me and Maddie screams in unism. "tell us! tell us!! tell us!!!" we chant together. Wendell sighs.

"promise me you won't tell Mom yet, it's a bit overwhelming to tell people but uhm... "

"uhm what?" I scream.

"you have a girlfriend or a boyfriend?" Maddie asks bouncing on her seat.

"both" he says.

"both" both Maddie and I say at the same time.

"you're have a boyfriend and a girlfriend?!!!!" I scream. I see a neighbor passing by just stop and look at me. "walk away!!!" I scream again without realizing. she runs in shock. "sorry!!!"

"yeah, I do. we've been together for a while. I want them to meet mom but I'm kind of nerves. they'll be flying down at the end of the month to stay the whole be week" he says, he looks nervous, so I put my hand on the one on the window.

"what are their names?" I ask. this is the brother that accepted me without question and cared for me everyday. it doesn't matter what anyone will say about him, all that matters is that I love him and that he loves me.

"Amaya, they use she/they pronouns and Joshua, he uses he/him. we've been together for a year and seven months for Amaya and a year and six months for Joshua. I love them both. is that okay?"

"you don't even have to ask, of course it's okay, and I'll love to meet them. as long as they love you and threat you right, I'm fine with them" he bends and kisses my forehead. "I love you"

"love you too" he steps back from the car. "now go, before you blame for making you late"

Maddie pulls out of the driveway and halfway to school I burst out laughing.

"what is wrong with you?" Maddie asks.

"he means I got cake and wine coz I whined, so he asked if I wanted some cheese" I say giggling.

"what?" Maddie asked confusedly.

"nevermind" I say and I'm all smiles because everything is falling into place
