Chapter 5: The Trip

Kaelean was standing in a white collar t-shirt and pants and was looking annoyed.When he saw me he furrowed his eyebrows and send " You are late".I wanted to kick him right in his balls but i wanted to live so i smiled like a shy girl and said "I'm sorry your highness" and then made an embarrassed face.He walked away and i followed him.We got in a carriage and when we arrived in a street filled with people we got off.Since he was the crown prince he had like 10 bodyguards(i felt sorry for that dude for a second but then i realized he deserves it).

He then marched towards a big and flashy jewellery shop.I had no choice but to follow him and so me and his bodyguards hurried after him.When we entered the shop he the shop keeper quickly came and said, "welcome your highness what would you like to buy".The shopkeeper couldn't hide her happiness knowing that she had hit a lottery today .Kaelean said,"Show me the best jewels you have in your shop".The woman quickly went and brought out many jewels each looking bigger and shinier than the other.I realized most of them were silver or red in colour. The crown prince asked if she had blue jewels .The shopkeeper replied ," Sire we do have blue jewels but silver and red jewels will suit you fiance as she has beautiful light black hair and silver eyes".I almost choked myself to death and Kaelean's eyes turned into daggers.The shopkeeper seemed to realize she had make a mistake and quickly apologized and begged Kaelean for forgiveness.He then replied " She is not my fiance and i'm looking for a gift for my sister".

The shopkeeper then showed another whole ocean of jewels that were in different shades of blue and gold.He then said to the shopkeeper pack them all up.The shopkeeper looked as if her soul had left her body.I was not shocked(i mean doesn't this thing happen in all romance novels where the main leads are rich) but i made a shocked expression just to avoid arousing any form of interest.Then we went to a clothes shop and went over the same routine.I don't even know why did he call me when he was selecting all of these gifts himself.After going to a total of 11 shops he turned around and said, "What should i buy?" .This time i was really shocked .I replied "Sire i think you have already bought everything."He then answered by asking me,"If i had to do everything , why did you come then?"He then turned away before hearing my answer.I told myself to calm down.This was really frustrating I can't do it.I made a barrier in front of him using my magic.He could have easily broken it down but he stopped and turned around,his red eyes burning " You dare try to stop me".I looked towards him and smiled ,a first real smile but it was not a happy smile it was a smile full of malice.When he saw my face his expression showed that he was shocked even a bit scared.I said in a low cold voice , "If i was Odette i would have thrown out all of that trash".Then i turned and walked away.

15 minutes later

I have officially screwed myself.I know i have a short temper but that doesn't mean i can show my true self to that jerk Kaelean. I know that he won't kill me cause in the book although he is a jerk he is not the type of person to kill someone for a measly reason like this.But one thing is for sure i need to go to him and ask for forgiveness even if i don't want to.I was thinking of how to apologize to that asshole when i heard a shriek.I quickly went towards the place i heard the shriek from.Then i saw man trying to drag a woman away .I knew in an instant that he wanted to rape that woman.I felt anger rising in me and took my dagger hidden in my dress and stabbed his hand he shouted in pain and started abusing me.The woman quickly hid behind me.I laughed softly like a maniac and slowly walked toward the man while he tried to run away .In in the blink of an eye i cut that mans ball.That man cried in pain and fell down.I made sure that he wouldn't die but live his whole like as an eunuch without being able to make love.The girl he had been trying to rape fell down on her knees and thanked me.She was barely 18 . I invited her to be my personal maid and she accepted my offer in tears.Then i threw that dagger towards that man in a black cloak who had been watching this whole scene.that man was worse than that jerk kaelean. Then i walked away with the girl whose name was Samara.

Eugene's pov

I was supposed to come to Arevacii after a month but i decided to come back earlier because i heard that the Lady of House Renstiel had finally shown her face to the people and was now living in the palace as a companion to the crown princess.I had always been curious to see Lady Khione who was rumored to be a genius so i decided to go to the palace and give my greetings to the emperor and empress and also see if the rumors about Lady Khione were true.little did i know that i would meet her at such an unexpected place.I was coming back after buying a gift for the crown princess when i saw a man trying to kidnap a woman .Since i'm the commander of the royal knights i'm not allowed to use my sword on any common person so i was about to cast a spell on him when i saw her .Early grey hair and silver eyes full of hatred.She looked like athena the goddess of wisdom and war.She took out a dagger and ans stabbed that man .Then quietly approached that man and cut his balls mercilessly.She then soothed the woman while i was watching her in awe. Thats when i saw the dagger in her hand was flying toward me.I didn't dodge it cause i knew she hadn't aimed for my head she had aimed for my pride.The dagger just grazed my cheek a bit and then i saw her leave . I smiled and thought " It was nice meeting you Lady Khione".I then walked to the palace .I greeted the Emperor and Empress and then went to Kaelean. He was in his room fondling a red brooch in his fingers and he looked deep in thought i quietly tip toed inside when suddenly he looked up and snapped " Who dares to come-" and then he realized it was me and quickly put away the brooch and smiled."Thats the second surprise of the day it seems and what happened to your face "Kaelean said. I answered " I met a pretty vicious cat on the way". Kealean chuckled "i would loved to adopt this cat.You are quite a lucky brat aren't you, you met a cat while i met a tigress.I swear for a second i thought she was gonna tear me apart. "I smiled thinking about the person who was daring as well as crazy enough to make the crown prince think this way.

Little did i know that we were talking about the same person.
