Rags to...

(So I got some rags. Phenomenal. My virgin chest opening feels empty and sad, just like my time in university. Hm. I wonder where I went?)

He could even feel his tail droop with disappointment.

(Wait. Tail?)

Quickly whipping his head around, he could see a thin tail, with a thin layer of blackish-blue fur on it... and something else.

(Are those.... spines? Damn, that's pretty cool, even if it's functionally- WOAH!)

When skillfully moving and flexing his tail, the spines within jutted out, as if thirsting for blood. It basically screams its usefulness in combat, along with his arms and claws.

(This body brings to mind... something like a Chimera. Despite my lack of understanding of the situation, this is pretty cool. But I'm really curious as to why I am able to use so many functions of this new body, despite having been human. Something doesn't add up.)

Looking down at himself with narrowed eyes (which seemed mischievous due to their cat-like nature), he looked between his legs...

(I'm not surprised, just disappointed... what else can I expect, considering I look like a kid?)

But that brings forth a flash of inspiration.

(Wait, those rags... could they be-!?)

Rushing back to take a closer look, he holds them up to his face to get a closer look.

(Some sort of scratchy skirt, and a cloak... They look nice at least. Am I supposed to wear these?)

With nothing else to wear, he puts them on in a resigned fashion.

(Hm. These don't look bad. In fact, aren't they a perfect fit?)

With a "tribal" vibe, they seem to fit nicely, completely concealing his body as long as the clothing is pulled in the right manner.

(Alright, perfect. I don't have to worry too much about someone immediately screaming bloody murder when they see me... and my childlike voice, face, and size should do me favors toward the suspicious. Now the real question is... how the hell do I get out of here?)

And as that thought surfaces, the stone wall at the opposite side of the chamber cracks open, revealing the bright light of the morning that lays outside...
