"Ma, can you tell me a story before bed?"
"Of course, my dear. Which one would you like to hear this time?"
"I like the one from last month, the foolish hero who tried to defy God!"
"That is a good one. Now let me tell you about a time when humans and Gods lived in harmony."
It all began long ago when the first humans developed the first civilizations. Gods and Humans lived in the same realm since humans usually worshiped the Gods and never dared to question their actions. But it all changed when some high-level summoners began to play around with their power.
The summoners began to play with the idea of summoning humans from other worlds. It was all permitted within the system the land developers had in mind, but the Gods did not like it. It was eventually a matter of time before the humans summoned otherworldly humans.
However, something was different about these humans; they all arrived with special powers and items that gave them an edge over everyone else. The summoners also noticed that these humans could not be enslaved or forced to do anything they didn't want to.
The new humans received the titles of "Heroes" and thus began to displace the Gods. The people quickly forgot about their Gods and began to worship these newly powerful summoned allies.
These actions infuriated the Gods as their power diminished with every day the Humans spent worshiping the Heroes. Eventually, a fight broke out between the God-worshiping races and the Hero factions.
Most Demi-humans kept worshiping the Gods, while most elves and humans worshiped the Heroes. Their armies clashed, and it looked like Demis would be wiped out of the system for a long time as their gods didn't come to help them in their holy war.
The last Demi-human battalion was still standing as the last remaining forces of the God worshipers, but the troops lost their morale. To them, the Gods had done nothing to help, but they were wrong.
God had been working behind the scenes, removing all the Heroes in the fields. The demi-humans were about to surrender when lightning struck down the no man's land. A recognizable figure appeared out of the dust; it was God.
He stood there while holding the heads of the Sword hero's friends. This enraged the Sword Hero, who immediately began his assault against God.
"Shadow clones!" A man was sparring with another. The scenery was erie as the clouds spat their lightning down to earth.
These two men fought each other fiercely, breaking mountains and reshaping entire landscapes with their battle. They seemed to be close in power, and it looked as though the fight could go either way, and it looked like the Hero had the upper hand.
God was struggling against the human. He tries his dirty tricks against the Hero but is always stopped. He was trying to get rid of the army witnessing the spar.
"Ahhh! Quimera viper Sword! Change Sword! Meteor Sword!" The Hero was hitting impressive combos against God and was slowly but surely bringing his health bar down.
God tried to evade his combos, but he always fell back into a pre-set trap. "I'm tired of your stupid little tricks!" God was angry, and it looked like a vein might pop out of his head at any moment.
"I told you. An evil God like you cannot be allowed to roam free. You are the world's problem, so I will exorcise you!"
"Don't get too cocky now, Ningen-ro!"
"Wooohhh! You're the first in a while who has managed to make me access my last form. Be glad you're about to witness true power!" The earth began to shake as God's hair spiked up; he was transforming.
God's Eyes were changing on and off from a deep purple; his hair was flowing up and down as it changed color from black to rose. The sky turned purple as lighting kept striking at the people down below. The battle in the skies was about to turn for the worse.
The Sword Hero tried to stop them from transforming, but by the time he realized it was too late. "Shooting Star Swords!"
The Hero tried a desperate attack against his opponent, launching a powerful barrage of light swords, but the God didn't even get a scratch after his transformation; he simply smirked at the attack. God didn't show mercy to the so-called Hero.
God wasn't taking the battle lightly and thus was now humiliating the Hero. The long-haired Hero didn't stand a chance. He was getting plummeted with every clash. At one point, even his legendary sword began to chip.
"I won't lose! I can't lose! Even if it kills me, I must win. For everyone you have killed, for my friends!"
"Cut out your pathetic lines already; You're a foreign force to this world, and here I, sentence you to death!."
With those last words, God impaled the man with a lightning sword of his own. The Hero tried fighting back until the last bit of strength left his body, but he eventually succumbed to considerable blood loss.
God didn't pay any respects to his body and deconsecrated it by dropping it down to earth. He let his body rot at the bottom of a ravine, where it was consumed by wildlife.
