Chapter 1: Prologue

"Please.... p-protect the empire. P-protect i-it's people..... t-they are s-suffering... t-they will a-all d-die... I beg of you" Tabitha said while forcing herself to kneel in the presence of the five mystic beasts they summoned.

She was of noble blood but people considered her the dirtiest amongst all. Her mother was a baroness who seduced higher nobles and rich merchants to live a luxurious life. She practically lives at the brothel every day to serve men, discarding her title and identity as a noblewoman. She was called the "wh*re trash" of society.

One day, Tabitha's father, the Archduke Chloris appeared. He was dead drunk that day and Tabitha's mother, who was leeching to another fat rich merchant, saw him and seduced him. Archduke Chloris already had a wife and son, and he was loyal, so he backed off.

But, her b*tch of a mother knew that Archduke was literally a walking gold and is filthy rich, so in her desperation, she made him drink an aphrodisiac. That one-night mistake happened that gave birth to an innocent little angel, Tabitha.

"Why? Why would you wish for that crappy empire and its people to be saved when they're the reason that they're on the brink of destruction?" the nine-tailed fox asked, clearly annoyed. He tsked and transformed into a sexy man wearing all-white cultivation clothes that made him look sexier and elegant.

"They are also the reason why the five of you ladies, are at death's door! You ladies, whom they neglected, trash-talked, plotted against, used as a scapegoat, thrown away, raped, and branded as a traitor are helping them?! Huh?!" the high and mighty dragon lord roared angrily.

The ladies flinched because the dragon's ruthless words were real. He released his black mana and it spread like a bullet around the mountain they are currently at. The five ladies nearly lose their breathing until the Water Spirit Queen wrapped a protection barrier around each one of them. The ladies breathe a sigh of relief. Relieved that they're still alive for now.

The Tiger king bears its fangs against the dragon. "What'cha doing man?! Calm yer' man boobs down! Yer' killing the girls!" He shouted but the dragon didn't bat an eye at him.

The mighty dragon transformed into a gorgeous man wearing a black shirt, tuxedo, and pants with a half-cape outlined with gold. Emotions were visible from his handsome face. The mountain shook from his angriness. The black mana enclosed the mountain that it looks like it doesn't exist. "What do you get from helping such trashes?! None! They will not know that the five of you are the reason why they are still living and will still resent you for escaping! They will hunt you down and kill you!" He clenched his fists.

The Queen Phoenix, agitated, slapped him. The black mana that spread around finally disappeared. Everyone was shocked, even the high and mighty dragon. The cool-headed queen phoenix, who rarely shows emotions, just slapped a dragon. Not an ordinary one but the lord of all dragons.

She transformed into a sexy woman wearing a seductive red cultivation dress, then wiped her hand as if she just touched a dirty substance.

She flicked her hands and an exquisite handheld fan appeared. She took it and pointed her fan to the mighty dragon. "Can a high and mighty dragon lord like you change their minds? They made the biggest magic circle that no man do, and summoned us, their own protectors, for the safety of their so-called trashy empire and b*tch-of-a people. Do you think they will change their wishes just because you said so? They are literally putting their lives on the line, you big idiot of a lizard" she said calmly while emphasizing some lines. The mighty dragon glared at her while the other beings are suppressing their laughs.

The Water Spirit Queen nodded, clearly agreeing the Phoenix Queen's claim.

"What birdy said is true."

The Phoenix Queen shot a fireball at the Water Spirit Queen but she just flicked her hand like it was nothing. The Water Spirit Queen transformed into a beautiful woman wearing a blue intricate kimono. "They escaped and run into this mountain looking like beggars, uh, worse than them," the girls glared at her and she just shrugged.

"And used their blood to make this magic circle that summoned us here. If I am one of them, I wouldn't even bother to think about summoning us— which is 100% impossible for normal people and just run to a faraway village or a country then hid my identity" she said bluntly.

The Tiger king transformed into a sturdy handsome guy wearing red commander military clothes."Yeah, what mermaid said is right. I wouldn't even care 'bout the empire being attacked by some demons or sh*ts. Who cares 'bout them anyway? They'll still die eventually, but just early" the Tiger king said like life infront of him is insignificant.

The fallen noble, who was once the lady of justice, forced herself to kneel. You couldn't even recognize her even if you stare. Her shining silver hair was nowhere to be seen, replacing a dirty full of mud and bloody hair. She was skinnier than poor commoners. She was full of whip and torture scars, just like the four ladies with her, and she was paler than usual because she lost too much blood from making her part of the circle.

"H-helping the c-citizen... t-that's the l-last thing I could d-do.. a-as a p-priestess, a-and as t-the e-embodiment of... j-justice" She begged while looking fiercely at the five mythical beasts. Her godly protector, the nine-tailed fox, couldn't look at her straight in the eyes as he was on the verge of crying seeing her beloved desciple in such a poor state.

"A-as a p-proud commander... o-of the highest-ranking k-knights.. T-this w-will be... m-my last n-noble sacrifice" the sky-blue haired woman uttered while laying on the rock surface. She couldn't force herself to kneel like what Tabitha and the priestess do. The Water Spirit King, her protector, approached her and touched her cheeks lovingly as if he was looking at his child.

"I-i.. I p-pledged m-my l-loyalty to.. t-the e-empire as the v-vice... m-master of the m-magic..tower, f-for the people... the c-commoners.. a-and for my s-son... to be s-safe" The once slave said while crying. Her protector, the Phoenix Queen kneeled in front of her while brushing her hair with her hands.

The second princess of the empire held her protector's hand, the tiger king while begging. "I, a-as t-the p-princess.. o-of the e-empire... w-wishes for the... p-people's s-safety. H-help us fulfill o-our last wishes."

"F-for my b-beloved... and m-my family.. to be s-safe... T-to the people, w-who sacrificed and b-believed us... T-to those w-who helped us, t-to those who didn't g-gave up... o-on us... t-they deserved t-to be p-protected" Tabitha proudly said while smiling happily at the mythical beasts that made the beasts hearts' clenched in sadness.

The beasts stood up and walked to the center of the magic circle. They shared a knowing look and smiled. "The five ladies who escaped the prison amidst the chaos and chose to save the people, instead of themselves, they are worthy to be called the true "heroes"." The dragon lord uttered, proudly while looking at her disciple Tabitha.

Five mana collided but it wasn't like the deadly black mana earlier, this was soothing and more magical. The black, blue, red, yellow, and white mana mixed and enveloped the five ladies. Thousands of magic circles appeared above and below them. It looks like a magnificent sight. Like a thousand of stars are colliding together.

"I, as the High and Might Dragon Lord..."

"I, as the Mystical Nine-Tailed Fox..."

"I, as the Queen of the Skies and Phoenixes..."

"I, as the Ruler of the Forest and Tigers..."

"And I, as the Water Spirit Queen, fully permits the five ladies, to turn back the time, to chose their righteous paths and amends their mistakes. Protect yourselves, our "chosen". We'll see you again."

They smiled before disappearing into thin air.
