CHAPTER 42 - WILL HE AGREE ?

They both entered the King chamber , but Jay and his father had already left.

Noah's father was in the room as he arrived, and as Noah entered, he rushed over to Noah and tightly hugged him. "I'm truly sorry. I didn't want things to go in this direction. I'm truly sorry. I'm a lousy father. It's all my fault; if I had loved you more, it wouldn't have happened. This wouldn't occur if I never allowed you to miss your mother. I apologise for not doing enough to safeguard your mother."

"It's all over, Dad, it's alright. Avoid bringing that up. Additionally, you are a good father. You are top-notch. You simply ran out of time because you were defending us."

"But what happened in the past is still a part of you now and will be in the future."

"I'm attempting to forget those memories, and I'll succeed soon."

"But know that I will do everything it takes to improve you. I just want you and Kelly to be with me; I don't want any of these tribes or powers. I only ask that you do. I adore you both greatly. I'm sorry, but I just don't know how to express my sentiments."

The king cried aloud as he spoke. The father was pleading with his child to forgive him since he was unable to be a good father in a heartbreaking moment.

"No dad, everything is OK. No crying, please. As the ruler, you make the dignity. You shouldn't cry over such little matters."

"I am your father first, then a king. I am responsible for you.

"I know "

"I spoke to the doctor, who said that although your illness was getting better, Kelly was to blame for it continuing to deteriorate. Tell me what I can do to help you get better and more fit.

"I have an idea," Ginny remarked.

"What is it?" the King enquired.

"I can bring Noah along."

"What ?"

"Yes, I'm able to bring him along. And she'll be completely fine when he returns. If he came with me, there are many benefits."

"What are those?"

"In America, there are world-class hospitals and, as far as I'm aware, many qualified medical professionals who can treat him. Second, he'll be OK since he'll see new things and places and be able to go wherever he wants. His life can be enjoyable. He may visit many areas and make acquaintances because America is so large. Talking to other people is the most effective treatment for depression. He will become better when he is ready. Give him and Kelly some time to value one other since they have been with you all for a long time."

"I value her, but she doesn't. "

"Okay good, she will value him," Noah clarified.

"How do we get in touch?"

"Through a phone. You can phone him at my place whenever you wish to speak with him. I'll give him a phone, or better yet, I'll give it to you, so you may call him whenever you choose."

"If my child is getting well, I'm cool with it."

"I'll do anything I can to help them.

Noah questioned, "But what about the tribe?"

"I'm here to look after them. Not to worry. I have many years of working left in me. Don't be concerned about me."

"It's encouraging to hear, uncle."

"But Kelly?" the king questioned.

"We gave it some thinking as well, and we believe she too needs some time.

We decided to leave her for a while because she is not on good terms with Noah because we want her to miss him and realise how valuable he is, and also because there are many chances that she may end things with him due of the conflict they had."

"Okay, I believe you are correct. Really needs to learn a lesson. She is acting really immaturely. She must possess maturity. She needs to realise that not everything will always go her way."

"Right "

"So, when are you going?"

"In five days."

"He is unfamiliar with the surroundings, nevertheless."

"Don't worry, I'll teach him everything in these 5 days," Ginny said.

"That's excellent"

They heard a shriek as they were speaking. They turned their heads in that direction and noticed Kelly sobbing.

Flashback

When Kelly decided to go to her father about holding back information about the relationship from Noah and him, he was in her room. She wanted to apologise because she felt bad.

She stopped as she entered the chamber after overhearing her father's voice and considered listening in.

"My child, what happened to you? I'm truly sorry. I didn't want things to go in this direction. I'm truly sorry. I'm a lousy father. It's all my fault; if I had loved you more, it wouldn't have happened. This wouldn't occur if I never allowed you to miss your mother. I apologise for not doing enough to safeguard your mother."

She overheard every conversation. Angry and depressed, she felt. Her was irate because Ginny and others thought she was immature, and she was sad because Noah had chosen to leave her.

No one spoke up because it was her fault even though everyone could see she was crying. The fact that nobody came to soothe her pained her.

"Will you actually leave?" she inquired

"Yes. Do you have any issues?"

"How are you able to leave?"

"Let's go. Pack your luggage." Ginny stated that due to Kelly's actions, she doesn't want to talk to her.

"Ginny, why are you doing this?"

"How can you approach her? She is older than you are. How dare you call her by her name?" shouted Noah.

Ginny urged Noah to let it go.

"You've worked some sort of spell on him correctly. He now always converses with you rather than with me. Don't talk to me; he has been with you since the day you entered."

"Why in the world are you saying that?"

"Leave it Noah"

"Why do you dictate to my brother. Huh. Although you are attempting to rule our tribe, he was better before. My brother, my father, even my tribe are under your control. What do you intend to accomplish?"

"Be quiet, Kelly. Don't speak to her in that way." said Noah

"Lady, mind your language, the king screamed." said the king

Ginny simply listened without responding; she wasn't upset because it was alright because she was entering puberty and this was a common occurrence.

"I told you Noah leave it. Let's go," Ginny urged constantly.

"How can you not see how she is speaking? She has no manners at all. She is acting too brazenly. conversing with anyone as she pleases. What she is thinking about herself? I am aware that she is entering adolescence, but there is a limit to how she can act."

"Now you're speaking her perspective."

"I only do what is right,"

"She is in charge of you. She is the one who lacks shame, not I. She's attempting to command us. She is here to arbitrate tribe disputes. She's a —"

Kelly was abruptly interrupted and slapped. Yes, Noah gave her a slap. He has a responsibility to keep her sister on track.

She shed tears when she saw his eyes. Her words were having trouble getting out. Ginny, the king, and she were all rendered speechless.

"You slapped me?" Kelly queried

"Yes, I did" yelled Noah.

"Is it for her?"

"No, I took this action because of you. Your boundaries are being crossed."

"You are solely to blame for this. It's the first time I've ever been slapped in my entire life, and it happened also because of an outsider."

Before Noah could respond, Kelly hurried away from the scene. He didn't flee but instead turned to face Ginny and apologised for her actions

" I really hope she stops doing this."

"You didn't do well,"

"What?"

"You shouldn't have hit her," she said.

"But didn't you notice how she was acting?"

"I know, but it was wrong anyway."

"Forget about it; it was for the best. Please don't feel bad about it." advised the King

"I promise to try."
