Chapter five

The smile on Regan's lips reflected the mirth in his eyes. He walked to the dining table, basking in his sister's stare. He picked a fruit from the fruit basket and munched on it.

Lucy followed him into the dining area. "What's up Reggie?" she made herself comfortable in a chair, A gesture to let him know that she was waiting for she wanted to hear and she wouldn't budge until he spewed it out.

"Does it look like anything is wrong?" Regan tried to school his features but it was futile as he was a hot mess.

"Your passive expression isn't working, Reg. Don't you think you should put an end to it with me? You don't faze me." She said lazily. She saw her husband arrive hastily to the dining room and spat out, "Anderson you're such a gossip."

Zeke chuckled at the way his wife addressed him with their surname. He was sure she was only teasing but two could play the game. He glided to her and spoke over her shoulder. His breath tickling her ears, "What are you doing here, rani?"

She blushed at the nick – name and shrugged her shoulder to get him off her back. "Stop tousling my hair, I'm not a child!" She whined when he tousled her hair. Her husband was always bold with his feeling, regardless of where they were.

"But you like it when I call you baby, don't you?" Zeke said few inches from her face and watched as she tried to fix her hair with her fingers. "And you also like it when I caress it till you sleep. And the other things …"

By now Lucy was the crimson. "Shut up!" She hissed, giving him the death stare.

Zeke laughed at his wife. He loved the effect that he had on her. He pulled out a chair for himself beside her and just as soon as she was about to retort, Regan beat her to it. "Zeke, how did you know that you were in love with my sister?"

The bickering couple were taken aback by the question. Regan watched until their surprise simmered. He caught sight of his blushing sister and Ezekiel smiled as though he were reminiscing.

"I don't know but at first I realized that I always wanted to protect her, to provide for her as much as I could. I felt the need to defend her even when she was wrong. And those feelings haven't changed a bit."

"Protect, huh?" He smirked. His eyes hadn't left the staircase he had descended a few minutes ago. A throaty chuckle escaped his lips. "I have a present for you both. You'll see it tomorrow." He finished the last portion of his fruit and headed up the stairs to his room. "Good night."

As soon as Regan left the dining area, Zeke walked over to Lucy's chair and bent down to cave his face in the crook of her neck from behind. He kissed and sucked on the flesh which left her breathing like a hollow pipe. She was sure that she would soon be carrying a brandished hickey. He trailed kisses up to her ear in a painfully slow motion and nibbled on her ear lobes. Thankfully, it was late and she had no jewelry on. She moaned in response and turned to face him. He knelt down and looked into her eyes while his hands busily reached for the buttons of her pajamas. His lips met hers in a frenzy, leaving her hot and wet for him. His tongue played tag with hers as his fingers successfully undid her buttons. The soft night breeze met her bare skin and left her moaning in satisfaction and she moaned even more as she felt Zeke's hands grab each of her mounds. He broke the kiss and peered down at her to admire the panting mess he had made out of his wife. Her eyes fluttered open and she saw him looking down at her. A coy smile escaped her lips and she arched her back, knowing what was coming next. She sucked in a breath when Zeke started kneading her mounds. "Baby." She threw her head back and moaned with her eyes closed as he carried on with his ministrations.

His lips met her already hard bud and he sucked on it like it was the sweetest thing in the world. Her gasp was like music to his ears when he bit her taut nipple. "Ezekiel!"

He got up and hovered over her. The way she had arched her spine was alarming. She still had her head thrown back, eyes closed and her breath came out in shallow takes. Zeke watched as her eyes fluttered open as to why he had stopped his ministrations on her body. "What happened?"

"Well," He leaned in close to her lips. "My rani…" he placed a peppered kiss on her lips, "Has …" he trailed down to her neck to leave another kiss there. "Been…" he landed another kiss on her collar bone. "A… very… bad…" his words and breath tickled her bare skin, stirring up hungry desire within her core. He placed one final kiss on the swell of her breast "…girl." He mumbled against the flesh of her mounds. His hot tongue poked out of his mouth and he trailed it back up to her ear and whispered, "And she deserved to be punished." He stood from his kneeling position and straightened his clothes, acting like nothing happened between the both of them less than a minute ago. "Goodnight." He said flatly and turned on his heels toward his room and she failed to see the mischievous smirk that played on his lips.

"Zeke, you can't do this!" she yelled at his retreating back in frustration. He couldn't just leave like that after turning her on. She began buttoning her shirt, muttering cusses. She saw Regan walk in, his face passive as usual.

"You might want to lower your voice a notch. I don't think my visitor enjoys being disturbed in her sleep especially after she just had a drink or two. You might scare her." He walked past her to the fridge and opened a bottle of water for himself. "And for God's sake, find a room for you two, tsk."

"God, the both of you…" she growled aggressively and stormed out of the dining room, leaving a chuckling Regan behind.

Elena woke up to a very bad headache. She hissed and placed a hand on her head to calm the splitting pain she felt. Her mahogany eyes shot open in alert. This wasn't her room. She jumped with a start and checked her clothes. She quickly un-wrapped the blanket from her body and blew a sigh of relief when she saw her clothes intact on her body. Thank God. Her eyes darted around in search of her phone and she heard a knock on the door. "Come in?" she said with uncertainty.

Her breath hitched in her throat at the sight of the man that entered the room. She could have sworn that she had seen him before but she could not place her finger on it. He wore a blue shirt and sweat pants under a black apron and had a breakfast tray in his hands. His red tresses of hair was slicked back with a few stray hairs hanging around his handsome face. He had eyes of caramel under the sun which were framed by a thick that of brows and short lashes and a very beautiful set of lips which looked like they had blood pumping in them at the moment. He smelled of musk and a distinct scent of Creed Aventus which had her guessing that he had been working out early. His bicep muscles bulged from the shirt he wore as he dropped the tray on the night stand and she could make out the taut outline of his sculpted torso when he bent slightly. She tried to remember where she had seen him before but her brain wasn't letting her do so. Her headache made her feel like her head was bursting so she couldn't think at the moment so she just decided that who – ever owned this house had a really hot chef. Besides people looked alike, didn't they?

"Good morning" Regan said breaking her out of her reverie.

"Good morning. Uh please do you perhaps know how I got here or who brought me here. Er I don't remember much and I would like to say thank you to the person." She said nervously.

Regan looked at the blabbering mess that stood in-front of him. Her hair was like birds' nest and she wrung her fingers so much that they had turned clammy. He said. "You are welcome. There are fresh clothes in the wardrobe and a clean towel and a new brush in the bathroom. I won't have my guest looking like that." He tipped chin to her. The action made her conscious of how she looked and she turned pink in embarrassment but said nothing. "finally, your uber arrives in an hour." Without another word, he left the room.

"Wait-" but it was too late. He had disappeared behind the closed door. She groaned in frustration. "Dweebs urgh!" she rushed to the mirror and wished immediately that she could disappear from there and go back to her father's house. To her room.

"What's this?" Lucy asked as they stepped out of the car.

"Your gift." Regan replied.

Lucy's eyes were as wide as saucers upon that statement. Before them stood an antique manor house. "Really?" she tried her best not to squeal.

"Yes." He checked his wristwatch. "The realtor will be here any minute. Oh there she is." He said as he spotted a black Lexus car.

The lady in it came out hastily upon seeing her customers arrive at the property before her. "Good day Mr Regan. I am so sorry I left you waiting." She said trying to balance her bag on her shoulder.

"It's okay Ada." He said "We just arrived. Although you left me guessing that I would be on house tour duty today." He chuckled.

The woman named Ada smiled and greeted the couple that were still dumbstruck by the mansion. "Good day. You must be Mr Zeke and Mrs Lucy Anderson."

"Hi, nice to meet you." Lucy said, her body radiating with childish giddiness.

"Shall we take a look around the house, please?"

"Sure we would love to."

Regan laughed at his sister's behaviour. She was the elder one she still acted like a child sometimes. She was still a girl at heart.
