You'll Never Know What Will Happen

Abidemi let out a sigh as she picked at her hands. She was following Roger to the sitting room to meet her instructors. She dressed pretty casually for the meeting since she had no idea what they were going to do. Just some boho plants and a long blue shirt.

'This is so nerve-wracking.' Abidemi thought as she looked down the hallway. ' What if my magic stopped working or if my levels are too low? Ugh. Maybe I should reschedule.' 

Abidemi said the last part out loud which caught Roger's attention. "It's much too late for that milady." Abidemi frowned. Roger smiled at her. "You'll do fine. You weren't this nervous about your last magic status check."

"That's because I didn't think I was that powerful." Abidemi said with a frown. Roger smiled at her. "I mean, everything at the temple could just be a fluke."

"It's not a fluke, milady." Roger told her
