Taste So Bad

"Ugh." Abidemi said as she pushed the now empty bowl away. The medicine tasted worse than before as she tried not to make a face. She looked at Imka pitifully as the maid just took the bowl. "Do I have to drink it?"

"Yes. Just encase more memories and headaches come through." Imka said to Abidemi which made her sigh. Abidemi sighed as Mieke just patted her head. 

"We don't want you to get another headache, milady. It would be bad for you.' Mieke said while braiding her hair.

"But it tastes so…"Abidemi made a face.Mieke laughed. "Shyla is crazy for even letting me drink that."

"She's just looking out for you too."Mieke said, which only made Abidemi sighed.

It was the next day in Abidemi's house. Imka went to the wardrobe as Mieke fixed up her hair. She was placing glass beads in Abidemi's hair as she let out a yawn. Imka placed some tea in front of Abidemi and she took it. She took some light sips as she licked her lips and smiled happily.
