"No" Abidemi said flatly as Ife and she waited by the fish stand.

Both of them were sitting next to each other while they both ate some food.  They watched their grandmother talk to the vendors. Femi ordered Ife some street food and the two were left alone.

"Why not? I could be a good part of your team." Ife muttered. " Dana is the head of it and she used to watch over Akeem."

Abidemi sighed and looked at Ife. "Dana's position wasn't permanent. And Gran Gran told me your new. I rather not have my baby cousin watching over me."

"Ageism!!"Ife yelled.

Abidemi sighed and shook her head."No. I'm just not risking you." Ife mumbled at Abidemi's words. "It would be better for you to wait for your rankings."

Ife sighed. " What's the point? It's not going to get me a permanent position?"
