Good Enough

" How long until this tea party again?" Ming-Yue asked as she watched Abidemi and Shou simple the teas. She was frowning deeply as she glared at the teacup in front of her. " Drinking all of this stuff is going to make me wanna pee."

" Ming-Yue." Shou, Adeline, and Abidemi called out. Abidemi was trying to keep the ng smile off her face while Shou pouted at Ming Yue. Adeline was glaring at her with crossed arms.

" What? Who's going to hear me? Besides our servants and maybe Roger." Ming-Yue said. Adeline sighed. 

" Honestly, you became much more relaxed than before." Adeline said with a frown. Ming Yue laughed a bit. " That is not a good thing. You still have an image to uphold."

"Maybe it's because I know I won't be returning home this time." Ming-Yue said with a smile. "I'm not in a palace where people aren't trying to marry me off or kill me." 

Abidemi blinked from that. " Who tried to kill you, from the rumors you mostly kept to yourself."
