Breakfast With The Queen and Imperial Grandmother

Once again Abidemi was pulled out of bed but this time she wasn't in a rush. 

Instead, it was rather slow and everyone took their time. The attendants dressed her in a long white dress with a blue shawl over her shoulders. They fixed up her hair in a blue head scarf and left her braids free without beads. They picked out white sandals for her to wear and made sure her makeup was decent.

After all that was said and done. They led Abidemi to the imperial dining room and led her to the table where the older women sat. Abidemi swallowed as she calmed her nerves and took a deep breath.

She gave a quick greeting to the queen and the imperial grandmother as she gave them a warm smile. The two women were sitting on blue cushions by a small table that had a blue rug underneath it. They wore warm smiles as she bowed at them.
