Chapter [02]

My body swayed in the air, and my feet followed the crevices of the marbled road. My head started to pan out the scenery all around, and my sights landed on a beautiful traditional family: a mother, father, and daughter who joyously prattled amongst each other.

Suddenly, a tremendous amount of emotions overwhelmed me; Misery, resentment, bliss, and confusion. Everything was spinning, and I began to fumble till I sensed a clutch on my arm. Beaumont proceeded to fret, "What's wrong, Hosuh?!" "I-"

I gazed into his eyes; they were mesmerizing, and soon enough- safety washed over me. "I'm well." "Are you positive?" Grinning ear to ear, I bobbed my head in agreement. A smirk formed on his lips. His fingers twirled my long hair- "I, perhaps, have a proposal to your homeless issue." Curiosity struck, "Elaborate?" He tugged my attire.

"To initiate, we must make some changes to you. Your garments," Pinching my waist, "Your weight," He circled me like a vulture.

"Along with these lengthy strands." "Is my hair appalling..?"

My frown instantly forced him to be concerned -"N-No, you are handsome. However, improvement creates a difference." "I suppose,"

He dragged me to an eatery and bid the server to provide us with plenty of cuisines. Beaumont crammed food into my esophagus, but ultimately I spewed it up again-

My hair swiped over my shoulders while Beaumont fixed the collar of my vest. "Dashing." He muttered, "Thank you." He headed to the clothier and provided riches, "Thank you for your services." We took our leave and entered a salon. "You can determine how to alter your hair, cut, color, style- you may even choose to do not a thing."

I contemplated as the man near a chair eyed me. My body hauled over and took a seat, "What would ya like?"I struggled to cough up words. "Anything would suffice..." "Can do!" He clenched my locks, and soon my head felt weightless. My eyes teared up as the man started to remove the sides of my hair.

"Done." I wiped my face with Beaumont petting me. "You look great." "Now what?" "Now we convince my father to take you in!" Beaumont grinned. "What-"
