Can't help it 2

A strange demon took over Mason's body. He couldn't help it. He walked to Xavier, who was taking water in his hand from the faucet and switched it off.

"What's your problem?" Xavier ranted, glaring at him.

"How is Amber?" He asked bluntly. Xavier gave him a poker face, not sure of what was going on.

"Who are you to ask after my girl?" Xavier spat out.

"I just want to know how she is. I don't give a damn. Tell me, dude." Mason groaned.

"You are fucking weird. Get out of my way." Xavier remarked, and pushed him aside, and walked out of the bathroom.

"What is wrong with you, Mason!!" He yelled, gripping tightly to his hair.

"No, this can't be love. I can't fall in love with that ugly duckling. She disgusts me." He mumbled to himself.

Later in the night, Amber's phone rang. She picked up the call and realized it was Mason calling.

"What do you want from me?" She ranted.

"Come outside. I have something to say to you." Mason declared.

"I am not coming, prick. You better get going." She snapped and hung up.

Mason was standing in front of his car at the side of her house when he saw Xavier's car driving to the front of her house.

He quickly ran into his car and hid inside, peering through his car window.

Xavier's driver stepped out of the car and opened the door for him. Xavier was wearing sports tracks and was also holding a notebook in his left hand. He reached for his phone and called Amber.

"I am coming right away." Amber beamed and hung up.

She started walking down the stairs, looking at her family with side-eyes. They were all watching TV when her commercial came on.

"Give me the fucking remote." Daniel groaned and removed it.

She tiptoed toward the door and opened it. She was about to step out of the house when she heard her name.

"Where are you sneaking off to?" Daniel inquired.

"I just want to go outside to buy something real quick." Amber replied.

"What's that?" Daniel inquired, his brow furrowed.

 "Girls stuff." She replied.

"What do you mean, girls' stuff?" He inquired.

"Ask Bella, she knows what I am talking about." Amber protested.

"Oh, I remember you getting that stuff, don't you?" Bella inquired.

"Yes, so tell him," Amber muttered and ran out of the house to avoid further queries.

She sighted Xavier in front of her house and ran to him. She kissed him on the lips.

"I missed you like hell, so what are we doing today?" She inquired.

"It's easy, trust me." He assured.

"That's what you tell me most of the time before you start torturing me." She complained.

"Come on, babe, I don't do that." He protested, opening the door of the car for her.

Amber smiled widely at him and got into the car.

Mason, burning with rage, seeing the two of them getting lovey-dovey. He clenched his fists and ignited his engine, ready to trail them.
