Chapter 14

"Ajax what are you doing" Asked Xander coming out of the kitchen with a tray consisting of lava cake, blueberry pie, and a vanilla shake. He gave that to a customer and went again to find his little brother. As all the customers went away, Xander closed the bakery it was late at night, so he took some left bakery desserts and went upstairs.

"What have you been doing, you little kitten? Asked Xander.

" Ummm.... I was studying.. "Said Ajax nervously and Xander senses something was going on.

" What it is? Tell me. "Said, Xander.

" I was reading the book that my mom gave me," said Ajax still nervous.

"So what is the problem, bubba? Inquired Xander lovingly.

"Umm.... Brother is it bad to have two spiritual powers? " Asked Ajax fiddling with his fingers.

"It is not, it's okay to have two spiritual powers.... WHAT!! Ajax you should not be so gifted, you know my heart is weak, if you keep giving me shocks like this, I might die someday" Said Xander exaggerating and making a comedy face while touching his chest.

"Stop the joke and tell me, will it be a problem for me? " Said Ajax making a pouty face with his hands on his chest.

"Okay, okay.... For the power, how did you find that? Asked Xander taking it seriously.

" In this book, it was given by my mom" Said Ajax while showing the magical book.

"Ohh, it is okay if you have two powers. There are people on this continent who have two spiritual powers. But.. You have a very special one The Power of Fire. I am telling you no one knows to what level you can expand it. Legend says it is limitless. So better be careful. And what is your second power? And how did the book tell you? Asked Xander curiously.

"Um.. I was just seeing it suddenly it opens on its own and opened on a blank page. I was confused. I tried to close it but as soon as I touch it, my spirit ani.... I mean my spiritual powers showed up. " Said Ajax nervously.

"Ohh.. So it shows the powers of others upon touch. But I think it is just one of its power. If your mom gave it to you then it is more valuable " Said Xander trying to go towards the closet to get ready for bed.

When suddenly Ajax pulled Xander's hand and kept it on the book. Just a second before touching the book, Xander withdraws his hand.

"What are you doing? Asked Xander.

" Why I need to see your powers! Said Ajax with his creasing his forehead.

"Umm.. That you already know. So why again? " Asked Xander playing with the hem of his hoodie.

"I clearly remember that Eddie used some power other than teleportation when I was sick " Said Ajax.

"No.. You were very sick at that time... You might have hallucinated" said Xander while laughing nervously and thinking of something else.

" He was unconscious at that time. How did he see Eddie use...use... "

Xander was in his own world of thoughts and Ajax took this chance and took the book near Xander's hand and it worked. The book opened on its own and opened on the first page to show the spirit animal of Xander in golden words and that words fly in the air showed -

A Wolf: NATURE =highly intelligent caring, playful, and above all devoted to his master.

POWER LEVEL= Level 3.

SPECIALITY= Has deep mind connection with his master, can use master's spiritual powers.

Xander was shocked at the magic shown. It showed everything crystal clear. If anyone was confused about his own powers this book is a big help, but if anyone wants to use it for evil purposes, it can be dangerous.

Again the book automatically moved on to the next page. It showed Xander's spiritual powers. Now that alarmed Xander. Xander tried to remove his hand but Ajax held it firmly. Xander tried his best to remove his hand from Ajax's grip but could not free his hand. But his mind also played games with him due to which he was not able to put more effort into removing his hand.

SPIRITUAL POWER: Rare= Two powers

Teleportation.

Telekinesis.

Seeing this Ajax's eyes widened seeing the words written while Xander faced down looking at the chocolate brown floor feeling remorseful for hiding this from his brother. He thought Ajax would be angry at him but his reaction confused him.

"Yeah, yeah I was right. That was not my hallucination when I saw Eddie bringing the water bowl for me using telekinesis" Said Ajax excitedly while showing a little dance.

"You... you are...not angry at me!! Asked Xander flabbergasted at Ajax jumping a little and grinning ear to ear.

" Why would I be angry? I am so happy that you have two powers" said Ajax stopping his dance and looking with a bemused face.

"Ohh... I-i thought that you are angry with me for hid-hiding this from you" Said, Xander.

"Everyone has a right to keep secrets and I don't mind if you have more secrets. I also have some and I respect of you don't ask me. When the time is right I will tell you myself. " Said Ajax.

"Wow, my little kitten has grown up. I am impressed. But I just did not say about my second power, because I haven't told that to anyone, it has no specific reason" Said Xander ruffling Ajax's hair.

Both of them smiled warmly looking at each other, happy that they consider each other's feelings, but a little guilty for hiding something from each other, but it was okay as long as the other was not hurt.

The next day, Xander looked like he was up to something. He was doing his chores too quickly. He served the customers and closed the bakery. Ajax was helping him but was confused seeing his brother's bizarre nature. Eddie did not mind even if his master performed a hip-hop dance in front of him. His toy bone is more precious than anything in this world. He was busy playing with it despite his master's ruckus. After finishing all the chores, he hastily pulled Ajax with one hand and Eddie's leash with the other hand outside in the car without telling anything. Both followed him.

After a few minutes of the ride, Ajax guessed the path, they were on the way to the forest. But why? They rode up to a hill. It was beautiful scenery from there. Ajax saw it and was mesmerized by it. Meanwhile, Xander signaled Eddie to do something and he sprint off. All of a sudden, Xander pushed Ajax off the hill!!
