Chapter 12 - Ceremony

Since the construction of the administration building had been completed, Admiral Otto was able to officially begin the process of administering the temporary government of Indonesia. The inauguration ceremony itself was attended by all components of the 9th Fleet, Amacsa city residents, representatives from the Kingdom of Wachia, Kingdom of Greater Quilkia, Kolomih Republic, Almewesian Union, Duchy of Bredalis, Republic of Baranzib, Protectorate of Captanes, Grand Duchy of Zero, Bayandelian Khanate, Tovigerian Khanate, Kirlowbigian Empire, and Narokh Theocracy. The arrival of official representatives from several countries was due to an invitation by King Bastian to attend the inauguration ceremony.

Before the inauguration ceremony was held, Admiral Otto decided to repair and expand the harbour. So that it can accommodate the ships of the country's representatives that will come. The expanded harbour will be divided into 2 areas, namely the Labuan District and the Harbour itself. The ship berthing positions will be sorted from left to right. The left side of the port will be a special area for military vessels, while the centre will be for merchant ships. The right side will be reserved for nobles or representatives of countries coming to the city of Amacsa.

Laksdya Otto decided to form the harbour area in a V-shape so that the area between the buildings could be used for trading, while the existing buildings could be bought and used for trading companies to create their branch offices. The Labuan District itself will be focused on lodging and accommodation areas such as bars and restaurants as well as housing for people who work at the port. Between the Port area and the Labuan District, a plaza was made to facilitate the entry and exit of goods and passenger transport. The building was the result of a blend of technology between the city's master masons and modern military architecture. Despite the absence of a dredging machine, the construction went quite quickly due to the cooperation and expertise of each person in their field. So it doesn't take long to complete one house, even the construction of one district can be completed quite quickly because of the division of tasks and the overall blend of expertise.

After the port area was created, Laksdya Otto focused his workers on smoothing and widening the road between the city and the port. For street and city lighting, a combination of solar street lights and lanterns will be strategically used to maximise the illuminated area. As for security, 50 city security guards and 400 marines are prepared to oversee the event. For transportation, 3 Anoa APS-3 pans and 10 Isuzu FVZ 34 trucks will be prepared. 2 Eurocopter AS565 Panthers are also prepared to monitor the journey from the port and the city of Amacsa. The inauguration will take place at the government building inside the fort and adjacent to the man-made field. 3. Drop off passengers and goods at the Baru Hotel.

4. Rest and free time for guests.

5. Preparation and dinner at the new government building.

6. Closing ceremony of day 1.

1. Preparation and inauguration of the interim government of Indonesia.

2. Lunch together.

3. Performance by the Marine drum band.

4. Rest and free time.

5. Closing ceremony.

Third-Day

1. Preparation and transport of goods at the New Hotel.

2. Transport of guests and journey to the harbour.

3. Transport of goods to the ship and sailing.

4. Clean-up of the city and harbour area.

After all the preparations and rehearsals, the day finally arrived. Laksdya Otto along with Laksda Agas and escort troops waited for the arrival of guests at the harbour. Several ships from the 9th Fleet were also deployed to the waters of Hutawantia island to ensure security and as direction guides for the incoming ships. A few minutes passed, and one of Laksda Agas' military protophones sounded.

"Bzzt! Bzzt! This is First Admiral Salman reporting to Rear Admiral Agas."

"This is Rear Admiral Agas, report received."

"Currently our ship is guiding several ships of state representatives, therefore we request assistance to organise entry and ensure the ships can arrive safely."

"Understood, we will arrange for them to dock in an orderly manner."

"Thank you. First Admiral Salman concluded the report."

"Report complete, return to your original positions."

"Bzzt... Yes sir!"

It wasn't long until two ships approached the harbour dock and dropped their anchors. The harbour workers responsively received and moved the goods unloaded from the ship, while Laksdya Otto picked up the representative of the Almewesian Union country who came with Admiral Pierot as the representative of the Kingdom of Wachia.

"Welcome to the harbour, I, Admiral Otto, as the leader of this region, welcome the representatives of the Almewesian Union and the Kingdom of Wachia."

"Thank you for the warm welcome, we as representatives of the Almewesian Union and the Kingdom of Wachia warmly accept the welcome from the Indonesian government."

"Then please follow us to the place we have prepared. The plan today is slightly changed from the existing schedule because guests from representative countries come at the same time so we will hold a welcoming performance at the harbour plaza."

"Alright then."

After Laksdya Otto escorted the two of them to the covered seating podium, he walked towards the edge of the podium to receive the guests delivered by Laksda Agas from the dock. In order, the guests came from the Almewesian Union, Wachia Kingdom, Greater Quilkia Kingdom, Kolomih Republic, Bredalis Duchy, Baranzib Republic, Captanes Protectorate, Grand Duchy of Zero, Bayandelian Khanate, Tovigerian Khanate, Kirlowbigian Empire, and Narokh Theocracy. When all the guests were seated and other matters were settled, Laksdya Otto immediately sat in the centre seat with Laksda Agas. "Good morning to the guests representing the Almewesian Union, Wachia Kingdom, Greater Quilkia Kingdom, Kolomih Republic, Bredalis Duchy, Baranzib Republic, Captanes Protectorate, Grand Duchy of Zero, Bayandelian Duchy, Tovigerian Duchy, Kirlowbigian Empire, and Narokh Theocracy who have come today to attend the inauguration of the Indonesian Provisional Government. I, Admiral Otto, as the leader, would like to express my deepest gratitude for your availability to attend this event. It is hoped that this inauguration can open up opportunities for cooperation and collaboration between us. Without further ado, I begin the inauguration of the Provisional Government of Indonesia."

Thunderous applause echoed in the harbour plaza after Admiral Otto's speech ended. The host continued the event by explaining the series of events today. This was followed by an action show and drum band from the Navy personnel. Once completed, the master of ceremonies ended the opening ceremony and directed the guests to board the vehicles that had been prepared to depart for the city of Amacsa.
