Chapter 47: Ninjas And Knight Vs Wolves

Roy sighs then grab the handle of the Demonic Saber and unsheaths it, readying to duel with BattleHowler.

BattleHowler tightens his grip on both of his axes and charges in, raising both axes in the air and swinging them down. Roy quickly charges as well and strikes the axes with force, deflecting the attack.

Roy then changes his position in a piercing one, thrusting his sword towards BattleHowler. However, BattleHowler quickly moves to his right and hits the Demonic Saber away using his right ax. Next, BattleHowler uses his left ax to strike Roy down. In a hurry to defend himself, Roy raises his left arm and using the armor on it, shielded himself.

Both of them separate their arms and try to kick each other to create distance. Their feet collide which causes the both of them to fly off. Roy backflips his way to recovery. BattleHowler strikes the ground using his battle axes to anchor himself.

Roy then breathes. A sudden fire starts to engulf the Demonic Saber. Roy then holds it with 2 hands, raises, and...

"Flame Style: Fiery Slash!", Roy yelled.

...swings it down. A strong fiery arc zooms towards BattleHowler. Instead of running away, BattleHowler charges in head-on, and then he spins and cuts the Fiery Slash in half. The remainder of the Fiery Slash explodes behind BattleHowler.

Roy sees this and changes tactics. Suddenly, the sword changes in a weird way. It grows leaves around it. Suddenly, a vine grows on the edge of the Demonic Saber. A long vine.

"Nature Style: Vine Whip!", Roy shouted.

Roy then swings around and hits BattleHowler on the knee using his whip. BattleHowler sees this and decides to dodge the multiple attacks that Roy is making. Roy then wraps his vine around BattleHowler's left arm. Roy then tries to pull it but BattleHowler resists it. Instead, Roy is the one who is being pulled.

BattleHowler then launches Roy towards by pulling the vine real hard. The right ax suddenly glows in an orange hue. Roy, who is in the air, raises his left arm to protect himself. BattleHowler swings his glowing right ax at Roy, clashing it with the armor on Roy's left arm. Roy deactivates his Nature Style and as soon as BattleHowler hits him, Roy is then launched backward. The armor on his left arm shatters completely, making it unusable.

Roy rolls on the ground but soon stands right back up. After that, Roy sees the armor on his left arm, destroyed. Seeing this, Roy started to feel afraid. However, Roy shakes his head and tries to not tremble in fear.

Roy then removes the broken armor on his left arm and goes into an airtight stance. Then Roy starts spinning, spinning real fast. Until a fiery tornado appeared. Roy is inside of the fiery tornado. Suddenly, multiple Fiery Slashes form out of the tornado and target only BattleHowler.

Seeing this, BattleHowler tightens the grip of his battle axes and then goes into position. A magical circle appears on the ground beneath him and the air above him. Roy senses a high amount of magic on BattleHowler.

"Pure Power: 30% Strength!", BattleHowler yelled.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Roy senses a strong quantity of ki on BattleHowler. BattleHowler then releases an orange aura. After that, BattleHowler lunges towards Roy and the army of Fiery Slashes.

Slashing all of them in half. BattleHowler is closing in. Until the moment Roy and BattleHowler are inches away from each other. Before BattleHowler could attack, Roy quickly cancels his move and jumps into the air. BattleHowler sees this and jumps towards him. The ground that BattleHowler was standing on imprints his feet due to his sheer strength.

BattleHowler is closing in with Roy again, about to attack again. Not until Roy interrupts.

"Determination Drive!", Roy yelled.

A red fiery aura surrounds Roy. Roy then swings his sword down on BattleHowler. BattleHowler crosses his battle axes to defend himself. The Demonic Saber hits the crossed axes and slams BattleHowler on the ground.

"Owh!", BattleHowler grunted in pain.

BattleHowler lays there for a second until he sees Roy coming down to pierce him. Roy falls and tries to pierce the wolf but BattleHowler is too quick to dodge, only piercing the ground. Then the fiery red aura disappears.

'What the hell was that technique he used earlier? I sensed magic in one moment then sensed ki the next. Wait...', Roy thought.

Roy then pulls the Demonic Saber out of the stone, looking at BattleHowler that still has his orange aura surrounding him. Roy then points the sword at him.

"It seems like you have found a way to convert magic to ki, BattleHowler.", Roy found out what the technique does.

BattleHowler laughs. The orange aura then disappears as well. Roy puts down the sword and stares at the wolf.

"Yes, it does. Though I might add, that technique of yourself really did a number on me. It must have boosted your strength because that strike wasn't as strong as the previous ones. I know I said this before but it's a real honor to fight with you, Ultimate Ninja.", BattleHowler said in response.

Hearing this, hearing that Roy's Determination Drive got figured out made Roy silent. Instead, he went back to a fighting stance.

"Not much of a talker, are yer? I do appreciate men with few words. Especially when they got power and strength underneath their stoic face.", BattleHowler added.

BattleHowler then glows orange more than ever before, holding both of his battle axes tightly. Roy adjusts his crimson scarf and then he caresses the blade using his left hand before holding it. Roy closes his eyes. Breathing in. Breathing out. Inhaling. Then exhaling.

"Determination Drive!", Roy yelled.

A fiery red appears once again. Roy opens his eyes, revealing crimson ones.

BattleHowler then launches towards Roy. Roy lunges at BattleHowler. Their weapon then clashes. A gust of air blew everyone away. Alvin slides back a bit but manages to withstand the shockwave but it isn't over yet.

"Pure Power: 50% Strength!", BattleHowler shouted.

"Determination Drive II!", Roy yelled as well.

Their auras go even fiercer. They clash their weapons with each other again, pulling their weapons back and crashing them into each other. They're at a standstill with each other. Their weapons bounce back and hitting with each other again and again.

"Pure Power: 70% Strength!!", BattleHowler shouted once more.

"Determination Drive III!!", Roy screamed.

Their auras grow even stronger and bigger. The ground that they are standing on starts to crack. They couldn't handle the pressure these 2 are giving.

The rest of the wolves fly off due to the repeating shockwave that both Roy and BattleHowler are doing. Alvin launches but grabs a sign and anchored himself down. Unable to keep his eyes weapon because of the wind that is blowing in his eyes.

Roy sees this and decides to stop this from getting worse by getting down and trying to strike upward. BattleHowler defends himself but is launched upwards, landing on one of the roofs.

Roy's fiery red aura then disappears. Roy then begins glowing a faint blue. Roy closes his eyes and breathes one last time.

"Kyōka Suru x5!!", Roy yelled.

Roy is then engulfed by a blue flame, opening his eyes to have blue eyes. The Demonic Saber then ignites in hyper blue fire. Roy holds the flaming blue sword and raises it upwards.

"Flame Style: Fiery Slash!", Roy shouted again.

Roy then swings his sword in multiple directions. All of them spew out Blue Fiery Slashes. The heat of these Fiery Slashes is much hotter than normal ones.

BattleHowler cart flips his way to dodge these things, landing in the street again. Roy's body starts to electrify. Instead of that yellow-colored lightning, it is violet and then he points the Demonic Saber at BattleHowler.

"Thunder Style: Lightning Bolt!", Roy exclaimed.

Violet lightning quickly appears out of the tip-top of the Demonic Saber. BattleHowler unleashes a magic barrier that protects him from the bolt but it cracks a bit. Roy's blue aura disappears and then he charges towards BattleHowler. The Demonic Saber then gets covered in rocks.

"Determination Drive III!! Earth Style: Stone Strike!!", Roy yelled out his moves.

Roy's aura is once again fiery red and then Roy swings at the weakened barrier. It cracks even and eventually shatters. BattleHowler then jumps over the stone sword. Roy switches the direction of the sword upwards. BattleHowler counter-attacks by using his right ax to slide the sword away from his body and swinging his left one down on Roy. Roy quickly lets his right hand go and blocks the attack but the armor on his right arm also shatters, breaking into pieces, and even striking Roy's right arm while making it stick itself in place.

"AGH!!", Roy screamed in pain.

Blood spills on the ground. It's Roy's blood. Roy is in pain but he soon snaps out of it. After this, Roy drags his right arm downwards where the ax is stuck while headbutting BattleHowler to separate and give them some space.

"Ugh!", BattleHowler groaned.

BattleHowler's ax gives way and he has moved away from Roy, giving Roy some space and room to breathe. Immediately Roy heals his right arm using his left hand. The pain ceases and Roy went back to battle. Roy looks at BattleHowler in anger. BattleHowler reflects Roy's expression.

"Determination Drive III and Kyōka Suru x5!!", Roy yelled at the top of his lungs.

Roy's aura becomes a red and blue fiery aura. The blue flame is on the outside while the red fire is on the inside. Roy then holds the Demonic Saber tightly. An intense dark aura covers the Demonic Saber.

"Dark Style: Fear Strike!!", Roy yelled.

Roy then charges in, swinging his dark sword at BattleHowler. BattleHowler blocks it by crossing his axes but he suddenly feels fear. This makes him freeze and Roy takes this opportunity. The Demonic Saber then lit up brightly.

"Light Style: Holy Flashes!", Roy shouted.

A bright light flashes on BattleHowler's eyes, making him blind for a second. A second is all Roy needs. Roy then knocks the axes away and slashes BattleHowler's chest, causing BattleHowler to bleed.

"Guh!", BattleHowler grunted in pain.

Roy then backs off, deactivating both his Determination Drive and Kyōka Suru. Intentionally giving BattleHowler some space. He doesn't want to kill him, only giving him a warning. BattleHowler takes 7 steps back before stopping, his orange aura then disappears. He then touches his chest to see his blood.

"Listen here, BattleHowler. I made a promise to myself to not kill anyone. I'm no longer the Ultimate Ninja you were told. But keep on fighting and you'll push me to break it...as well as your spine.", Roy threatened.

BattleHowler says nothing at the moment and then he laughs, laughing like a lunatic.

"You vastly underestimated me, Roy...", BattleHowler said in response.

Roy's eyes widen, his eyes widen because he senses a powerful amount of ki. Roy doesn't understand what BattleHowler is doing. Until...

"Pure Power: 30℅ Enchantment!", BattleHowler yelled.

Suddenly, BattlleHowler's ki disappears and his magic rises, his aura then turns green. BattleHowler puts his hand on his chest. The palm of his hand begins glowing brightly. BattleHowler is healing himself. Roy is shocked to see this.

"You're not the only one who can heal, Roy.", BattleHowler added.

Then BattleHowler's green aura turns orange again. It goes even fiercer than before, giving a more intimidating atmosphere.

"This time, Roy... I'll be using my full power so you better use yours.", BattleHowler warned.

'Full Power? He's already tough to manage as it is. If I keep using those techniques, I won't last long. My body already feels exhausted from using both of them. I need to end this quickly.', Roy thought in shock.

"Pure Power: 100% Strength!!", BattleHowler yelled at the sky above.

Roy senses his ki skyrocketing. Unlike before, Roy thinks he can manage BattleHowler but now he's not so sure. The aura that BattleHowler has scared the crap out of Roy. Roy gulps but he shakes it off, trying to not let fear get underneath his skin. Roy holds both of his swords, breathing in and out to prepare himself.

'I can't use my full power without passing out. If I did, they would take me away just like they originally planned. I may defeat BattleHowler but I can't take all of his subordinates. Not to mention, I'm the only one who's in danger.', Roy said in his mind while looking at Alvin.

"Come on, Roy! Show me your full power!!", BattleHowler taunted.

Roy hears this and it breaks the train of his thought, trying to think of another way to solve this mess. Alvin, who is still holding the sign, looks over to Roy, seeing the worries on his face. Suddenly, Alvin is grabbed by the neck. It's one of BattleHowler's underlings. They drag Alvin near them and put a handgun on Alvin's head. Roy sees this and gets furious.

"Show him your full power, or else...", the gun on Alvin's head clicks.

"You!...", Roy angrily muttered.

"Don't you dare shoot him! That's an order.", BattleHowler ordered.

Roy hears this and is surprised. The wolf, who is holding Alvin as a hostage, as well.

"I won't accept cheap tricks to convince my opponent to do what I want. It would be dishonorable." BattleHowler added.

Hearing this, the wolf put down their gun but as soon as they do that, Alvin elbows them on the stomach and then he smacks their head. After that, Alvin faces Roy.

"I'll run away now! Use your full power, Ro-Argh!!", Alvin was knocked over.

The wolf pistol-whips Alvin, making Alvin fall to the ground. The wolf then points a gun on his face.

"Now, I don't want to kill you because the Ultimate Ninja refused to use his full power. But I'll kill you if you try to escape again.", the wolf threatens.

The wolf points the gun at Alvin's forehead. Alvin freezes, not wanting to get shot.

"You bastard!", Roy uttered at the wolf.

After saying this, Roy senses a familiar power, making him try to guess who it is, and then he immediately knows who. Varari jumps out of the shadow of the wolf that is holding a gun at Alvin's point-blank and then she knocks over the wolf using her spear. The wolf then rolls over the ground to be soon pointed by a golden sword. The wolf looks up to see a man wearing the same colored armor as his sword.

"Move and you know what will happen next wanker.", Prince Graysen threatened.

"I guess the cavalry has arrived. Wolves, take care of them while I handle Roy.", BattleHowler ordered.

The rest of the wolves heard this and starts pointing their guns at them. They then shoot to kill. Until a white magic barrier appears, protecting Varari and Prince Graysen. Roy senses this and looks over to where it's coming from.

"I won't let you hurt them.", Sara said.

Sara is wearing her ninja outfit. Her outfit's color is mostly blue but has a white lining on it. It isn't as revealing as Varari's. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Sara is wearing brown boots with some metal plastered on them and long white gloves. A white magic circle appears on Sara's left hand. Roy thinks that is the cause of the barrier. Alvin looks at Sara in shock, not knowing that Sara could do such a thing. As well as the prince before him.

BANG!!!

But Roy decides to talk about it later. Alvin would like to focus on his life first before asking both Sara and Prince Graysen.

Wolves then charge at Sara. They point their guns at her and are about to pull the trigger. Using her right hand, Sara cast a barrier to protect herself. Sara then looks over to Varari. Varari sees this and nods. Sara nods back. After this, Sara deactivates the barrier that is protecting Varari and the rest and points her left hand at the wolves in front of her.

"Power in our Soul. Darkness and light. Please defy all laws and help us in this fight!", Sara chanted.

Sara then glows. Her aura is pure white, radiating magic. Roy senses a strong sum of mana coming from her. Then Sara's aura suddenly changes color and turns dark blue. Sara then points her left hand towards the wolves. A dark blue magical circle appears from it.

"Liquid Wall!", Sara yelled.

A tall wall of water then appears out of nowhere and pushes the wolves that were targeting her. Sara then touches the ground. A green magical circle appears on it.

"Gripping Root!", Sara shouted.

The ground starts to crack and then roots appear from it, tangling the wolves and trying to down. Suddenly, a wolf jumps behind Sara. Sara freezes a bit but turns around to see a machine gun pointing towards her. Varari quickly jumps out of Sara's shadow and knocks the gun away, kicking them in the face the next. Alvin, who is lying on the ground, suddenly feels a hand placed on his shoulder. He turns around to see the prince holding his shoulder.

"I suggest you should go and hide, Alvin.", Prince Graysen suggested.

Alvin nods to this and quickly runs off, going into a safe spot and spectating the battle from there.

The wolves then surround the prince, holding their gun, and then they shoot him. A light barrier appears and shields him from the bullets. Prince Graysen crosses his arms and chuckles for a bit.

"Alright, let's dance.", Prince Graysen said.

The prince then expands the light barrier in a fast manner, bumping the wolves around him. Then Prince Graysen tightens the grip of his Excalibur using his right hand. After that, the prince grabs the scabbard using his left, putting the Excalibur in it to prevent it from killing the mind-controlled victims.

"Time for a beating, ey.", Prince Graysen added.

The prince then zooms to every single one of them, bashing their heads while making them all dizzy and fall asleep.

Roy sees this and has felt a little better. Seeing them reassures him to be a little careless, clenching the Demonic Saber with both hands. After that, Roy goes into a battle stance. BattleHowler notices this, still in his strong orange aura, he also changes to a stance.

"It seems like you're ready to battle me again. I can see the fire in your eyes.", BattleHowler commented.

"Don't worry, I'll make this quick.", Roy replied.

Roy breathes in. He then breathes out. Roy inhales and then exhales, preparing his body to do this!

"DETERMINATION DRIVE V!!!", Roy shouted at the top of his lungs.

Roy's aura then went hellish. A strong suffocating red fire engulfs Roy. His muscles enlarge. His eyes went enraged. Veins can be clearly seen in the distance. Roy's heart started pumping like crazy. His adrenaline is going hyper. Roy looks at BattleHowler with rage and fire in his eyes. BattleHowler flinches a bit but he readies himself for what is about to happen next. Varari sees this and is shocked but is also confident that Roy gets this in the bag. Sara is at aw seeing such power like this. Prince Graysen smirks at the sight of it all. Alvin is filled with pride seeing his best friend this strong.

"GAAAAH!!!", Roy screamed.

Roy charges in with tremendous speed, breaking the road that he was standing on for a moment. Roy then swings the Demonic Saber to the right. BattleHowler blocks it but is knocked back significantly.

"AAAAGH!!!", Roy screeches like an animal.

Roy then lunges at BattleHowler again. BattleHowler recovers from it and decides to run towards Roy. Roy swings the Demonic Saber downward to the right. BattleHowler strikes using both of his battle axes upward to the left. Their weapons clash and an even bigger shockwave is the effect of it. BattleHowler then pushes Roy back and he rushes towards Roy.

Varari knocks one of the wolves away and heads towards the next. As she is doing this, one of the wolves stands right back up, quietly aiming their pistol at Varari. Alvin sees this and quickly charges in, having enough of watching his friends fight while he cowers in fear.

Alvin quickly kicks the gun away. The wolf who sees this faces Alvin and raises its hands, preparing to do hand-to-hand combat. Alvin sees this and freezes. Then Alvin is punched in the guts, making him spit out his saliva. Alvin holds his chest and backs away. Now he's pissed that he got punched.

With anger in his mind, Alvin raises his fist. At this moment, Alvin remembers what he is taught by his 2 masters. Seeing how Roy is battling BattleHowler, as well as taking a glimpse of Varari fighting tons of wolves gives him a bit of confidence in himself.

'The things you both taught me...won't be a waste.', Alvin thought.

The wolf strikes first by a punch in the face. Alvin shields himself by raising his arms. The wolf then launches his left fist at Alvin. However, Alvin grabs it and kicks the wolf in the stomach.

The wolf moves back a little but powers through the pain. Alvin charges in this time and launches a punch. The wolf deflects it using the palm of his hand. Alvin punches again but the wolf repeats his move. They do this multiple times until the wolf grabs both of Alvin's hands. This stuns Alvin for a bit but he quickly thought of something before the wolf could do something. Alvin kicks the wolf in the nether regions, making the wolf cry out for a little bit. Using this opportunity, Alvin clasps his hands together and smashes them on the head of the wolf, knocking the wolf down on the ground.

Varari knocks down another wolf and sees this, seeing that Alvin defeats a wolf. Alvin looks back at Varari while they lock eyes with one another.

"Nicely done, Alvin.", Varari was proud of Alvin.

"Hehehe! Thanks, Kage-senpai.", Alvin chuckled while scratching the back of his head.

BANG!!!

Varari widens her eyes in shock. Alvin hears this and looks over to where it came from. Alvin sees the wolf he knocks down early holding a gun that is pointing at him. Alvin then looks below to see blood on his shirt. Alvin is shot on his stomach. Alvin then falls to the ground and begins dying.

"No!", Varari shouted.

Varari quickly heads over to Alvin, bashing her spear on the wolf that shot Alvin. Varari then kneels and puts Alvin on her lap, trying to stop the bleeding with her hand. Varari then looks at Alvin with worry in her eyes.

"Why did you step in and fight?", Varari asked.

Alvin tries to muster his energy to form words. There is a burning sensation in his stomach. It isn't painful but it is weakening him. With all his strength, Alvin answers Varari's question.

"Because...they were about to shoot you...*Cough*... I don't want that to happen to you...Kage-senpai...", Alvin muttered.

Alvin then goes unconscious, going out cold. Varari then holds Alvin's body close to her.

"We need to help!", Varari yelled out.

Sara and the prince sees this. Prince Graysen then looks at Sara. Sara notices this and looks back.

"Go help them. I'll handle the wolves.", Prince Graysen said.

Sara nods and quickly heads over to Alvin and Varari. Suddenly a wolf is in front of her. A light energy ball then blasts the wolf away from Sara. Sara looks at the cause to see the Prince doing what he said to Sara. This prompts Sara to run faster.

Roy then senses something, sensing a power that is fading. Roy looks over to where it was to see Alvin bleeding with Varari and Sara treating him. Roy sees this and is furious.

"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!", Roy screamed towards heaven.

Roy's aura then goes even fiercer while he is screaming. BattleHowler is scared to see something like this.

A fire engulfs the Demonic Saber. An intense flame it is. Roy then looks at BattleHowler in anger. Roy is furious that he couldn't think straight anymore. So he used this with no careful thinking whatsoever...

"KYŌKA SURU X20!!!", Roy exclaimed.

The red flame that is surrounding Roy goes total violet, his power skyrockets thanks to this. Roy is now using his full power.

"This must be your full power, Roy. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!", BattleHowler was excited to battle Roy like this.

Roy quickly zooms at BattleHowler. BattleHowler's reaction is slow compared to Roy's speed.

"FLAME STYLE: HELLISH BLADE!!!", Roy yelled.

Roy's Demonic Saber goes hellish than normal, going hyper blue thanks to the technique he uses before. BattleHowler is already sweating heavily due to the heat of the sword. Roy then swings it down and slices the left battle-ax in half.

Seeing this, BattleHowler backs away but Roy quickly pursues him. Roy then strikes BattleHowler. BattleHowler holds his only battle-ax with both hands and uses the metal part of the ax to defend himself. Their weapons clash once again but the heat of the Demonic Saber slowly melts the steel on the Demonic Saber. Roy uses even more force and the ax completely melts. Fortunately, BattleHowler jumps back to dodge the full swing of that sword.

Roy then looks at BattleHowler with rage. BattleHowler, having no weapon decides to power down and jump on a roof, trying to keep his distance from him and that incinerating Demonic Saber.

"It seems that I have to yield, for now, Roy. You win this battle but next time we meet I will-", BattleHowler was interrupted by something.

A Fiery Slash interrupts BattleHowler's dialogue. Seeing this, BattleHowler activates his power again and dodges it by moving to the left.

"BattleHowler!!", Roy yelled.

Roy isn't done yet. He is still enraged. Roy couldn't think straight. He couldn't control himself anymore. Roy is out for blood.

"Flame Style: Fiery Slashes!!", Roy yelled again.

Roy swings his Demonic Saber in multiple directions. BattleHowler quickly dodges every single one of them but barely.

"This heat... I need to get away now!", BattleHowler decided to run away.

However, a vine grabs on BattleHowler's body and is slammed on the ground. The vine comes from Roy's hand. Roots from below then grab BattleHowler and make him stay still. Roy slowly approaches the tied-up wolf with his Flaming Sword. BattleHowler tries to struggle, not wanting to die.

"BattleHowler!", Roy shouted.

Roy changes speed and starts sprinting towards BattleHowler who still couldn't escape. Then Roy leaps to the air and starts falling towards BattleHowler. Roy raises the Demonic Saber with both hands and is planning to kill BattleHowler. Until a strong blue barrier stops him. Roy looks over to where it's coming from, seeing Sara using both of her hands to protect BattleHowler.

"Stop doing this!!", Roy yelled angrily.

Roy is then tackled down, accidentally letting go of the Demonic Saber down. Roy struggles with whoever is tackling him.

"Roy stop! You shouldn't kill him. Remember your promise Roy!", Varari yelled.

Roy then freezes. He soon realized that Varari is the one who tackles Roy down. This makes him calm down a bit.

"Remember Roy, you don't want to be the Ultimate Ninja anymore! You wanted yourself to change! To be better!", Varari added.

Hearing Varari's voice makes him deactivate both Determination Drive and Kyōka Suru. The flame that is surrounding Roy fades away. Soon, Roy feels weak. He can longer move that much. So Roy rests in Varari's arms but tries not to fall asleep.

"This is why I don't like using Determination Drive V... They make me act like an animal...", Roy said with low energy.

BattleHowler then escapes his rooty prisons. After this, BattleHowler quickly runs away, not even saying anything before leaving. Varari tightly hugs Roy, letting him know she is worried and cares for him. Roy then leans on Varari.

"Varari, I think I need some help to stand up.", Roy said quietly.

Varari then stands up while helping Roy stand up as well. Roy leans for a few seconds and tries to walk on his own but his legs give out. Luckily, Varari catches Roy in time. Varari smiles at Roy. Roy sighs while he grins and shakes his head. Varari then supports Roy and they walk towards where Sara, Prince Graysen, and Alvin are, grabbing the Demonic Saber while they're on their way. They see Alvin who is still unconscious but it seems Sara heals him. Roy sighs in relief seeing this.

"I manage to take the bullet out and heal him as much as I can but we need to bring him to my house. So the doctors there can check up on him.", Sara explains.

"Alright... But we need to hurry, I don't want to let Alvin's parents worry.", Roy said weakly.

Sara notices this and approaches Roy, grabbing one of Roy's hands and clenches her necklace. Roy is confused at what's happening but is tired to ask.

"Oh Azure's Flowing Tear, grant me thy power to give strength to a friend.", Sara chanted.

The necklace begins glowing through Sara's hand. Energy flows through Sara and it enters Roy. By the second, Roy feels a little bit better than before to the point, Roy can now stand on his own. Sara let go of Roy's hand and the necklace stopped glowing.

"Thanks.", Roy thanked Sara.

"Your welcome-AHH!!", Sara screamed.

Suddenly, somebody grabs Sara and puts a dagger on her neck. A wolf is holding Sara hostage, slowly backing away from them.

"Don't you dare come any closer! Or else, I'll kill her.", the wolf warned.

It is the same wolf that isn't mind-controlled. The one who keeps Alvin from escaping, now they're making Sara their hostage. Roy, Varari, and Prince Graysen hold their weapon but do not attack. They know the risk if they attack. The wolf slowly backs away but...

"Agh!! My head!", the wolf screamed.

The wolf whines. Roy is unclear about what's happening to the wolf. The wolf then stops groaning in pain. They then dragged their dagger away from Sara's neck.

"DIIIEEE-", the wolf screamed.

"Determination Drive III!!", Roy quickly yelled.

Roy then quickly charges in. Everything around him is in slow-motion to him. Roy sees the dagger slowly approaching Sara's head. However...

'Dammit!! I won't make it!', Roy thought.

As soon as Roy finishes that thought. A golden blur appears next to him. They're much faster than Roy and are going past him. It's Prince Graysen. Roy sees him going faster than he is. Roy also sees the sword that the prince is holding with 2 hands is glowing golden.

SWHING!!!

The wolf then freezes for a bit. They then look at their arm to see that it's gone. Blood quickly spews out of the cut-off arm. The prince cut off the wolf's arm.

"HAAAA!!!", the wolf screamed.

Using this chance Sara quickly escapes from the wolf's grasp. Prince Graysen sees Sara getting away from the wolf and goes in for the kill.

SHIING!!!

The prince cleanly slices the head off from the wolf's body. The body and the head fall to the ground, spilling blood on the road. Everyone is shocked seeing this. Roy even shakes his head to get rid of the feeling of shock and fear. Seeing that it's all over, Roy deactivates his Determination Drive and turns around.

"Come on. Let's bring Alvin to your house, Sara.", Roy said to cut the mood.

"Ah... Alright...", Sara quickly helps Roy carry Alvin.

The prince wipes the blood off his blade and sheaths it. Then Prince Graysen grabs his phone and starts texting someone. After that, the prince approaches the group.

"My subordinates will clean this place up. You need a hand, mate?", Prince Graysen offered.

Roy is hesitant to say yes but he knows that killing isn't something he should be surprised with. After all, Roy has done it plenty of times.

"Yes, I do.", Roy accepted it.

The prince and Roy carry the sleeping Alvin on their shoulder. They then start walking towards Sara's home. Roy then wonders about something.

"Seems like the Freedom Fangs are one step ahead of us.", Roy said.

"Huh? What do you mean?", the prince asked?

Everyone looks at Roy. Roy closes his eyes and sighs.

"We just fought in the streets. Somewhere people usually go through. Yet I didn't see a single person here. Well, I didn't see one anyway.", Roy explained.

"That is true... It's like they planned and prepared for this.", Sara replied.

"The Freedom Fangs are more dangerous than I thought.", Varari commented.

"We all underestimated the enemy. But the good thing is now we know, this will make us more alert. I'll send my knights to do a night patrol every night to at the very least prevent this happening ever again.", the prince added.

"Hmm... How about tomorrow, we all train together. Maybe there's something that we can teach each other that will give us the edge of things.", Roy suggested.

"That sounds like a plan to me. But for now, we need to rest. So we can have the energy to do just that.", Prince Graysen said in response.

"Yeah, a rest sounds good to me.", Varari commented.
