Chapter 32: Date?

Varari wakes up and immediately looks at her digital clock beside her.

7:07 am.

"That's plenty of time to prepare.", Varari muttered to herself.

8 am is the time when they should meet. Varari immediately gets off her bed and starts the day. Varari then opens her closet, trying to think of something to wear to see not much clothing in there.

"I probably could go shopping with Roy.", Varari said to herself.

'It's a good thing that the principal actually gives us some salary for our hard works delivering those packages.', Varari thought.

Varari then imagines what the day would be, seeing interesting clothes and testing them out so Roy can see Varari in those clothes.

"Maybe I could finally make him blush.", Varari giggles at the thought of it.

Varari then gets her purple blazer, navy blue pants, a white shirt, black sandals, and a blue scarf. After that, Varari sets it on her bed and then heads into her bathroom.

Varari takes off her clothes one by one, but before she removes her underwear, Varari looks at herself in the mirror. Varari's look then goes downward, showing herself her "assets" to herself and seeing the shape of it. As well as the plumpness of her behind and even rubbing it herself.

"Nice.", Varari compliments herself.

Varari then stops staring at her behind and finally takes off her underwear. Varari then sits on a stool and begins rinsing her body clean. After that, Varari stands up and looks at her tub filled with warm water. Varari slowly puts her body. Toes first, feet, and then her whole leg. After feeling the warm water on it, Varari puts in the other one. Varari slowly sits down on the tub of warm water and lays on it, relaxing in the tub of heaven.

'I probably won't be tired of this feeling.', Varari thought as she enjoys every single second of it.

Varari then gets an idea to make this experience even better. Varari moves in a certain position but does not get out of the tub. After that, Varari grabs the handle of a nearby drawer. Varari pulls it and grabs something inside of it, pulling out a bath bomb. Its color is mainly blue but you can see some yellow and pink on it and then... Varari drops it on the tub.

The little guy starts spewing blue, pink, and yellow colors on the tub. Varari likes seeing these things do their thing. So, Varari pulls out 2 more from the drawer and tosses them in, enjoying the beautiful colors splashing together. Suffice to say, Varari stays longer than intended.

After a few minutes, Varari then comes out of the bathroom with nothing but her towel covering her body, feeling refreshed, but hungry. Varari walks towards her fridge and pulls out a bento set that she bought from a nearby convenience store yesterday. It's a Hashed Beef Omurice Doria. After that, Varari puts it in a microwave, heating the food before eating it.

"Talk about convenience. I wish it's this easy to get food like this back home.", Varari commented.

2 minutes later...

DING!

The microwave is done heating up the food. Varari opens the microwave and bento set and places them on her table. Varari gets her violet metallic chopsticks and brings her meal close to her. Varari leans in to smell the food.

"I can't wait anymore! Come to big sis, little beef.", Varari said.

Varari quickly consumes it and then she adds flavored rice in her mouth. After that, Varari swallows. Varari lets out a breath of relief, before elegantly eating her meal to the end. Varari puts the whole container of the bento set in the trash can, quickly cleaning her only chopsticks and putting them aside. Varari gets bottled water in her fridge and finishes it in seconds. Soon after, Varari notices her plates and utensils.

"Huh, there's barely anything here.", Varari muttered.

'What if I have a visitor here, like Roy? That would be embarrassing for me and awkward. Might as well buy more kitchen utensils on our date to be prepared if he ever visits my apartment. Or better yet, come sleep with me.', Varari smiles at the thought of her and Roy sleeping together.

Varari then realizes how much she's thinking of Roy. Varari slaps her face with both hands.

"Calm down, Varari. Keep calm and be seductive towards Roy. Do that and you may...no longer be lonely anymore.", Varari told herself.

Varari looks at her home. It's fitting for only 1 person to live here. Varari then looks at her table, her one and only table with a single chair. This makes Varari remembers something.

Little Varari is in her house. It's night. Varari hasn't eaten anything because she's busy playing with some of her friends the whole day. Varari only comes home due to being hungry but not being called by her family.

Little Varari approaches the kitchen to see a table there with 3 empty chairs and a lonely food sitting in front of her chair. There's no one in the kitchen. Heck, there is no one in the house at all. It seems like they are all busy doing their own thing.

Varari slowly approaches the table, climbs up the chair, and begins eating her cold meal. The food must have been sitting there for a while. Varari's eyes are filled with emptiness, her expression is nothing but sadness. Varari is eating it slowly and is ...eating it all alone.

Varari discontinues her painful memory. Varari then takes a breath of air in her mouth and exhales through her nose. Varari then gets back to the subject.

"The date! I must not mess this up.", Varari said to herself.

Varari looks at the clothes that lay on her bed. Varari then takes off her towels covering her and began dressing up. Varari opens the door and exits her apartment, locking it up with her key. After that, Varari begins going downstairs.

NOTE: The place she's living in has only 2 floors. She's living on the 2nd floor.

A bunch of boys and girls is seen playing with their Ninjando Switch in front of the apartment. They all see their onee-chan (big sister), leaving the vicinity with clothes they never saw her wear.

"Onee-chan! Where are you going?", one of the boys asked.

"Let's just say I'll be having fun with someone, Wataru-kun.", Varari said to the little boy.

Wataru's hair is white and his eyes are golden while the rest have black or brown hair and dark eyes. They're all shocked to hear this.

"Ooooh! Are you on a date with someone?", a little girl asked.

"Haha! Yes, my dear. Someone special.", Varari answered.

The kids are surprised by this. Even the girl who asked. It's supposed to tease Varari but they aren't expecting this kind of response.

"Goodbye.~", Varari blows a kiss to them before leaving.

The children's mouths are still wide open. Wataru then finally speaks about what they are all thinking.

"We need to look after, onee-chan!", he exclaimed.

They all agree. Some even add to the subject.

"We don't even know who she's dating. He could be dangerous!", the tallest kid said.

"Or worse! A pervert...", the youngest girl whispered the last part.

"Ew! The P-word that I hate the most.", her older sister backs her up.

"We need to protect onee-chan at all costs!", the fat kid yelled.

"Yeah, I agree. Onee-chan had our backs when we're in trouble, supported us, and has been friendly towards us. Might as well repay the favors she did for us.", the kid with the glasses reminded them.

Wataru then turns around and faces the way towards the outside world. Wataru then raises his right fist.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Protect onee-chan!", Wataru shouted.

"Protect onee-chan!", the kids roared as well.

They then follow their onee-chan and watch her behind the shadows, determined and set on to protect their big sister at all costs.

Varari's in a crowded area. Since it's a weekend, there are more people in the streets than on the weekdays. Varari looks over to find Roy. Left, right, Varari still couldn't find him. Until...

"Varari! Varari, over here!", someone called her.

Varari looks at the source of the noise to see Roy waving towards her. Varari smiles and swam through the crowd. When Varari gets over there she's surprised at what she sees.

"Hey, wait for a second! You're that lady that other night!", Reika was surprised to see her.

"Bark! Bark!", Samuel greeted Varari.

"Reika and Sam, meet Kage Varari. Kage Varari, meet Reika and Sam.", Roy introduced all of them.

Varari is confused by this, thinking this date will be only the 2 of them. Varari then approaches Roy.

"I thought it would only be just the 2 of us.", Varari said.

"Yeah, you thought wrong. You can't deny that you want to spend time with Rei, right?", Roy replied.

"Yeah... I guess I couldn't...but what about the dog?", Varari asked again.

"Sam? Today is his appointment with a local vet.", Roy explained.

Roy then looks behind all of them. Varari does as well. Behind all of them, is a local vet. Roy walks towards the place and then he opens the door. Roy signals them to get in by moving his head. Reika and Samuel quickly went in. Varari just breathes and heads inside as well. Roy closes the door. Varari looks around the vet. Varari sees other pet owners like Roy. Mostly Dogs and Cats. Roy then heads to a register there. A man is on the other side of the counter.

"Hello, what are you here for?", they asked.

"Hi, I'm Abellona Roy. I'm here to vaccinate my dog, Sam here.", Roy said.

"Abellona Roy...Abellona Roy. Ah! There you are. You're on the list. Anyway, how old are you again?", they asked.

"16 years old. About to be 17 this December.", Roy answered.

"17 this December?", Varari muttered.

"Alright, why don't you sit over there and fill out this form, ok?", they gave Roy the form.

"Hmph, alright.", Roy responded.

Roy then heads over to a row of empty sit. Roy sits on the very left side of it and begins writing down the necessary things on the form. They all follow Roy. Reika sits on Roy's lap and Varari sits beside him.

"Sam, sit.", Roy ordered.

Samuel sits like a good boy. Roy pats the dog on the head. Seeing this, Reika also pets Samuel. Sam licks both of their hands. Roy then continues filling out the form. Varari decides to talk to Roy about what she hears earlier.

"16 years old now, about to be 17 this year? Usually, 4th Year students are 15-16 years old.", Varari interrogated Roy.

"Yeah, I know. I'm supposed to be the 5th year student, not the 4th. It's complicated, well maybe not. Let's just say, my father, held me back to make me even stronger than my peers. And then instead of putting me on the same Grade as I was supposed to be, my mom insisted on putting me at the very beginning. I guess, I just continued where I left off.", Roy explained.

"Hmmm... That makes sense...sort of.", Varari said in response.

"How about you, Kage-san? How old are you?", Reika politely and eagerly asked.

Varari smiles and repositions herself to make herself look more mature. Reika's surprised and at aw to see this.

"I'm 17 years old. About to be an adult this October.", Varari proudly said.

Reika's easily amazed by this.

"Woah! You're older than my oldest brother!", Reika commented.

"Yes. Yes, I am.", Varari boasted.

Varari then leans onto Roy while Roy is busy filling out the form, getting up close to Reika's older brother. Roy just sighs and ignores this. Reika sees this act. The little and imaginative Reika starts putting 1 and 2 together and forms a conclusion in her mind, making her imagine something...

"I love you, Roy.", Varari confessed.

"I love you too, Varari.", Roy also admitted.

They then bring their lips closer and...

"Bark!", Sam barked.

Hearing this, Reika's imagination is interrupted by Sam's bark. Reika looks over to the dog to see Sam barking at a window. Reika looks over at the window where Sam is barking to see a squirrel over there, munching on a nut. Sam barks at the squirrel again, alerting everyone this time. Roy follows Samuel's gaze to also find a squirrel there, eating a nut. Roy sighs and silently points his index finger at the busy squirrel. A vine then appears behind the squirrel and slaps the nut away, causing the squirrel to be alarmed, grab its slapped nut, and run away with full speed. Seeing this, Samuel calms down and lays on the ground, snuggling on Roy's feet as well. Roy smiles at this gesture and pets Sam again before writing on the form again. Varari notices and breaths out in jealousy.

"I wish you would show some physical affection to me like what you did with Samuel.", Varari whined.

Roy hears this and sighs. Roy looks at Varari and pets her head using his right hand, giving her a head pat. Varari chuckles at this joke that Roy is doing and brings Roy's hand on her left cheek, rubbing his hand against it. Varari then smiles seductively and bites Roy's thumb softly. Roy sighs in disappointment and pulls his hand away from Varari.

"Gross.", Roy commented.

Hearing Roy's comment, Varari giggles at it. Roy smiles a bit and shakes his as he continues to write the last part of the form. Reika sees and doesn't say anything about it, just smiling and continuing her imagination. Suddenly, Samuel has this urge to get attention, so the dog walks between Roy's and Varari's legs. Varari is surprised by this and flinches a bit. Roy sees this and starts petting Sam again. Sam licks Roy's hand as he gets petted. Varari sees this and sees how cute and adorable Sam is. Varari then has this desire of wanting to pet Sam as well but she wouldn't. Varari is a bit afraid of giving some pets to Sam because she thinks that Sam might bite her if she does pet him. Roy notices and grabs Varari's hand.

"Don't worry, he won't bite.", Roy reassured Varari.

Varari believes Roy and slowly places her hand on top of Sam's head. Sam does nothing and waits for Varari's hand to move. Seeing how Sam is doing nothing, Varari starts moving her hand and pets Sam softly. Sam closes his eyes, feeling a bit relaxed from Varari's pets. Varari starts enjoying it, so she keeps on petting Sam. All of a sudden, Sam licks Varari's hand. Varari flinches a bit until she realizes what Sam is doing.

"What does the licking mean, Roy?", Varari questioned Sam's action.

"It means he likes you. Essentially, showing affection or just saying hi to you. A dog's lick is sort of equivalent to a kiss.", Roy informed her.

"Is that so?", Varari replied.

Varari starts petting Sam with both of her hands, seemingly taking a liking to Sam. Sam also is loving Varari very much, even though this is the first time they meet. Roy's glad to see this. After that, Roy finishes the last part of the form and begins standing up.

"Rei, excuse me. I'm going to give this form to that guy right there.", Roy said to Reika.

"Oh! Ok, onii-chan.", Reika replied.

Reika gets off Roy's lap and Roy stands up. Roy then heads back to the register, leaving the 3 of them there.

This makes Varari thinks of something. Varari smiles and decides to ask some questions to little, innocent Reika.

"Hey, Reika-kun.", Varari called her.

"Hm? What is it, Kage-san?", Reika responded.

"Can you tell me everything about Roy?", Varari asked.

"Uh, sure! Onii-chan loves playing video games for me. Especially Crash! Um... Oh! His favorite food is Shrimp Tempura! Also, his favorite color is red. Uh... He's a really nice person. Someone who cares about us so much.", Reika described Roy.

"I know, anything else?", Varari asked for more info.

"His birthday is December 31, 2003!", Reika added

"Before New Year? Huh, interesting. Anything else about Roy?"

"Anything else about me? What are you 2 talking about?", Roy came back and interrogates the both of them.

Varari fixes her position and acts as nothing happened. Reika, however...

"Kage-san was asking questions about you, onii-chan.", Reika confessed.

"I know that... Thanks for telling me the truth though, Rei.", Roy praised her honesty by giving her a head pat.

"Huh, I guess she doesn't know how to lie yet.", Varari responded.

"Lying is bad! You should never lie.", Sweet, innocent Reika informed Varari.

Varari giggles at Reika's innocent, finding it adorable. Varari loves her innocent so much that she grabs Reika and puts her on her lap. After that, Varari tickles Reika. Reika seems to enjoy this. Roy sighs at this and smiles.

A few minutes later...

"Abellona Roy? Abellona Roy?", the man called Roy.

Sure enough, it's their turn. They stand up and are escorted to their Veterinarian. The Veterinarian seems like an old lady in her 50s. She seems like she's gone through this many times. A Veteran in the world of treating animals. She greets them with a smile.

"Hello, hello. You must be Abellona Roy. I'm Doctor Niko Akari. You can call me Doctor Niko or just Doc if you're ok with that.", Doc Niko bowed at Roy.

"Ah, yes. I am him. Nice to meet you Doctor Niko.", Roy did the same as well.

Then Doctor Niko sees Sam and smiles very brightly and talks in a cutesy way at the same time.

"So you must be Samuel. Oh, you are so adorable! Yes, you are. Yes, you are.", Doc Niko pets Samuel with excitement.

Samuel loves the attention he's getting, so he reciprocates back. Roy, Varari, and Reika just stare at the Doc petting at Sam. Doctor Niko notices this and pulls herself a bit.

"I'm sorry, I just love dogs in general.", Doc Niko made an excuse.

"I can see that.", Roy replied.

The Doc chuckles at this but then she finds something. A small bald spot on his neck on the left side of it.

"There's a bald spot here.", Doctor Niko said.

"Yeah, I got him from the streets in the past.", Roy explained.

"I see...", Doc Niko responded.

Doctor Niko then stands up and claps her hands, clearing the mood of the room.

"Ok ok, let's do it. Time to vaccinate your dog, Abellona-san. I'm going to need your help on this one.", the doctor said.

"Umm, what do you need me to do?", Roy asked.

"Can you put Samuel at this table right here?", The doc asked.

Roy approaches Sam and carries him, placing him on said table. Roy then orders him to sit.

Which Sam did, because he's a good boy.

"Does your dog bite?", Doc Niko asked.

"I haven't gotten bit. Not even once did he try to bite me.", Roy informed her.

"I guess this means he won't be as much trouble as I experienced in the past...but can you hug his head, just to be safe?", Doctor Niko added.

Roy does what he is asked to do. The doctor then pulls out a needle filled with what Roy assumes to be vaccine behind Sam, making sure, he doesn't see it. After that, Doctor Niko hovers the needle to a certain part of Sam's body.

"Ok... 3, 2, 1, go.", the doctor counted down.

Doctor Niko then injects it on Sam. Samuel starts howling in pain, but Roy is there to calm him down. Doctor Niko then starts putting the vaccine in his body. Samuel, again, starts screaming. Hearing the Shiba Inu screaming like a banshee, Varari gets worried for Samuel.

"Is it really that painful, Doc?", Varari asked the doc.

"Oh no, Shiba Inu tend to overreact like this. Don't worry, he's fine.", the Doc informed.

Roy sighs and shakes his head, agreeing with that statement.

"Sam sometimes screams in the bath. The neighbor even thinks that we're a bunch of psychopaths.", Roy agreed.

"Hahaha! Someday, they'll probably give him an Oscar for his acting skills.", Doc Niko laughs at this.

Roy, Varari, Reika, and Samuel exit the local vet. Sam comes out of that place like how he enters it, a ball of happiness. Reika keeps on petting Sam to comfort what he has gone through. Samuel appreciates it. Varari then looks at Roy.

"What now?", Varari asked.

"Let's just get Sam home first and we'll go to a place that I have in plan.", Roy said before calling a taxi.

A taxi stops in front of them. Roy grabs the handle of the door and opens it, letting Varari, Reika, and Sam in. Roy then shuts the door and enters the passenger seat beside the driver. The taxi drives off.

Wataru and his friends saw this. They're surprised to see their classmate, Reika, there.

"Was that Abellona-san?", Wataru said.

"Yeah, and I think that guy, who is dating onee-chan, is her big brother. I sometimes see him drop her off at school.", the fat kid added.

"I think I got an idea on where they live. Follow me!", Wataru, the leader, bravely shouted.

The kids then scurry off, finding the house of the person who is dating Varari and feeling determined to protect their onee-chan.

Roy knocks on the door. They hear some locks being unlocked and it open. Yoel opens it.

"Oh hey, Roy, Rei, Sam, aaaaaannddd pretty lady.", Yoel was stunned.

Yoel then fixes himself and leans on a wall. Also, making his voice even deeper, trying to seem manly towards Varari.

"Sup, Yoel's my name, and getting your number is my game.", Yoel flirted with Varari.

Varari chuckles at this, loving Yoel's confidence in a jokingly way.

"I'm Kage Varari. And at the moment, I'm dating your brother, Roy.", Varari said so easily.

Hearing this, Yoel's heart soon breaks. Yoel is obviously sad and in pain but tries to cover it.

"Oh yeah yeah, it's cool. No big deal. I'm fine. Don't mind me.", Yoel tried to stop himself from crying.

Roy decides to cut the mood and hands him Sam's leash. Yoel gladly takes it.

"Come here, Sam. At least you love me, right?", Yoel said as closed the door.

"Bark!", they heard a bark on the other side.

"Aw... Love you too.", Yoel replied.

Roy sighs and turns around to Varari. Varari looks at him with curiosity.

"So... What's this place you're planning to take us to?", Varari asked for answers.

Roy then pulls out what seems like tickets. Varari is surprised to see it, making her a bit excited.

"What are your thoughts on Theme Parks?", Roy asked.
