"Your Majesty the Empress, I am Hokage, from Konoha Village in the Ninja World. It's our first meeting..."

Uchiha Ran warmly smiled at Hancock without altering his hairstyle or gaze.

He exuded both dominance and gentleness.

From Hancock's words, it was apparent that the empress had not yet encountered Luffy.

An extremely dominant queen was beyond Anko's capacity.

Hokage saying "Your Majesty."

Upon seeing Uchiha Ran transform from his outrageous appearance to a respectful salute, Anko displayed undisguised admiration.

Initially, her feelings were mere admiration and a crush on Uchiha Ran. Now, Arrogance exposed Uchiha Ran left her genuinely convinced.

Seeing a man appear, Hancock furrowed her brow.

She disliked Uchiha Ran's attitude and felt an urge to conclude the deal.

Even though this man's temperament and appearance surprised her, a woman who detested men, it wasn't enough to win her favor.

"Do you not want to inherit the abilities of this Empress?" Hancock asked coldly.

Golden List urged her to exercise patience.

"It's her who wishes to obtain your inheritance."

Uchiha Ran patted Anko on the shoulder, remarking, "However, not everything she possesses is worthy of admiration. It's my task to persuade you to agree to the deal."

He wasn't particularly interested in Anko before, and if she had sought his help on her own, he would have acknowledged and helped her as a Hokage but wouldn't have been as proactive.

His current proactive stance stems from his anticipation of what might unfold after Anko inherits the empress's legacy and transforms into a more captivating individual.

"Even if she merely becomes more appealing, that might be worth it."

"It's not out of the question for future."

"You're right; everything she has to offer has no value to this Empress."

Hancock nodded in agreement. At the start of the transaction, Golden List had already relayed Anko's basic information to her.

In her opinion, techniques like the Three-Body Technique and Snake Escape Ninjutsu were merely passable. While she was interested in learning them, passing her own inheritance was another matter, even if it involved a woman from another world.

"Do you think you can convince this Empress, or is there something that could sway her?"

Hancock gazed at Uchiha Ran with her captivating eyes.

Uchiha Ran's true nature appeared slightly. "How about a fight, a face-to-face conversation?"

"A meeting to talk? You mean the Golden List's special space?"

"Yes."

"According to the Golden List rules, only the two parties in the transaction can enter that space, staying for a maximum of one hour, while only one second passes in the outside world. How do you plan to enter?"

"I have my ways. As a pirate queen, you wouldn't dare refuse, right?"

"As you wish!"

"Very well!"

Uchiha Ran turned to Anko, locking eyes with her. "Challenge Hancock."

Hearing her name, Hancock's handsome brows furrowed. If she had to face this infuriating man later, she vowed to make him regret it.

"Fifth Hokage-sama, you can't get in, right?" Anko asked skeptically.

"Just start your challenge."

"Alright."

Seeing Uchiha Ran's insistence, Anko nodded in agreement.

"Accept!" Hancock readily agreed.

In the next moment, Anko's eyes glazed over, seemingly processing something. On the other side, the empress was momentarily stunned, then collapsed to the ground with a plop, covering her face with her hands. 

Tears streamed down her beautiful eyes like spring water, and she asked in a trembling voice, "Ran, Ran-sama!"

How did the once invincible empress suddenly become so emotional?
