"Sensei has his sharingan to keep track of multiple clones unlike me, but to be able to use body flicker effectively in battle, you need a high level of chakra control along with high reaction speed.
If I fight Taka, I probably wouldn't be able to keep up as my reaction speed isn't that great at this moment. I need more battle experience and practice, but I can confidently say that my chakra control is way better than you, Taka or sensei Raichi.
After all, I'm a pretty good medical ninja and you've already seen me neutralise your chakra blocking technique." Kira explained and then sighed before walking towards the park's exit.
"Anyways, thanks for the help. I'll go back home and practice more at home... so, see you guys later."
Taka and Sachi looked at each other's faces and then glanced at Kira's retreating back. As for what was going on in their heads, no one would know.
As he walked back home, Kira invested one point into dynamic vision and the other free point into ninjutsu instead of genjutsu as he changed his original plan.
'There's no need to depend too much on the regular clone and waste a character point. Investing into taijutsu will net me more results as it increases my reaction speed.'
With dynamic vision at E grade and taijutsu at C, he rushed back home and tried the same combination. This time, he could control both the clones and he had the feeling that this was not the limit. His reaction speed also improved as he dodged multiple attacks from his shadow clone, which used the same body flicker technique as him.
Satisfied with the results, he began to train his pain tolerance like always. Lighting release chakra fried his skin as he punched rocks multiple times until he felt like he couldn't continue.
He had only done this for five minutes, but his knuckles were already bloody. It hurt like crazy, but he was happy that he was making progress.
As he walked back to his home, he glanced at his bloody knuckles and shook his head with a wry smile on his face, "I'm turning into a masochist... I didn't really like pain, but today I'm feeling happy.... my head is messed up and I'm only seven years old... oh god..."
While he didn't really like that he had to experience pain to improve, it didn't change the fact that whenever he saw improvement, he felt extremely happy.
"Oh well, it's whatever." he muttered as he closed the door behind him and walked to his room before he calmly sat on his bed before using healing jutsu on his hands.
'I have two days to perfect Shisui inspired body flicker, but maybe I should start learning some kenjutsu too. After all, it'll boost the lethality of my body flicker since my raw taijutsu's damage output isn't much.' he thought as he imagined himself with various weapons.
He didn't have any experience with swords, so he decided to use a few before picking one that suited him.
"I'll do that tomorrow... for now, just head to bed." he muttered as he continued to heal himself and once he was done, he turned off the lights and went to sleep.
The next morning, he walked towards the hidden village's weapons shop which was close to the academy. He had been training for eight whole hours since midnight, so he was pretty tired by now.
He entered the shop and took at look at the display which mostly had various kunai, shuriken and senbon on display. Since there weren't any swords, he turned to look at the shop owner.
"Do you have any swords here? Like katanas or ninjatos."
The man stared at Kira who was half the size of himself, and nodded, "Yes, but they'll be too big for you... why don't you use a wakizashi instead? It's the same as a katana, but shorter. I'll find you one that goes well with your height."
"Okay, I'll take that." Kira said as he took out a stack of notes, "How much will it cost, by the way?"
The man stared at the stack of notes and then his gaze travelled to Kira's headband, "It'll depend on the weapon."
Saying that, he walked into the back room. Kira put the money he earned from the recent B rank mission back in his hip bag as he took a close look at the throwing weapons that were on display.
The brand new ones on the walls looked very nice compared to his worn out second hand weapons that had a lot of scratches and some of them had dents and chips.
'Maybe I'll buy some to replace my used weapons too...' he thought as he walked around the store.
Contrary to Kira's expectations, the man took too long to come out. Just as Kira got impatient and was about to barge into the back room, he saw the door open.
The shopkeeper came out with a huge bag filled with similar looking weapons, all of them sheathed and looking brand new.
"Kid, come and try out these wakizashi. Tell me which one feels nice in your hands and I'll sell that to you." he said as he placed the large bag on the counter.
Kira nodded and grabbed one of the swords before unsheathing it. The weight wasn't too much of a problem, but it felt too short. He then tried out a few more and after more than five minutes, he stared at the sword in his hand.
"I like this one."
"Hmm... okay, give me a minute." the man said as he carefully took out a few wakizashi from his bag and placed them on a table.
"These three have the same blade length as the one in your hand and the quality of every single one of them is really good."
Kira nodded and sheathed his sword, "I'll just take this one then. How much?"
"That'll be 20,000 Ryo. Would you like anything else?"
"Yeah, I need around ten kunai and twenty regular sized shuriken."
The man nodded and headed to the backroom. This time, he came back in a minute and placed Kira's order on the counter.
"One thousand ryo for each kunai and five hundred for shuriken. Including the Wakizashi, the total cost is 40,000 Ryo."
