Kira fell into a repetitive routine of training alone in his room, support his people a bit when they defend against the hidden sand's attacks and then heal the injured. Just like that, more than 14 weeks had passed until he received an influx of information from the one clone that he had left with Sasori.
'So, it's finally time.' he thought as he deactivated all of his wood clones and got more information.
'No fights between the hidden cloud and hidden stone. Even if they start right now, I'll have three days worth of time to interfere.'
With all of his chakra under his own control, he did the same thing he had done a few months ago. More than forty clones appeared in the middle of the night and 39 of them disappeared.
The real Kira teleported to Sasori's location while leaving his last clone back in his tent.
"You're fast." Sasori commented as he saw Kira appear out of nowhere.
"That I am." Kira responded in return as he looked around to see more than a hundred clones.
He hummed as he felt a familiar chakra leaking out of five clones and turned to look at Sasori, "So... you used the wood huh?"
"Yes. The amount you gave me was enough to make them as durable as ten puppets. That aside... what's the plan to get the Kazekage?"
Kira shrugged, "I'll follow your instructions. After all, you're the one who knows the third Kazekage more than me. I'll simply lend you my power so that you can achieve your goals in an easier way.
"If that's the case... then we'll go with an assassination plan. I'll poison him and bring him to my hideout. But just in case the plan fails, I want you to help me get him."
"Sure." Kira said, nodded as he added, "Just make sure that make physical contact with him. As long as you do that, I'll be able to come to him whenever I want and help you out."
He didn't really care too much about it as he knew that Sasori had the capability to kill the third kazekage on his own. The two of them moved to Sasori's hideout and made preparations. Once they were done, Kira sat on an empty chair and watched Sasori leave the hideout.
Several minutes passed and minutes turned into hours. The clone that was with Sasori hadn't deleted itself from existence yet, so Kira decided to wait a little more.
'If he's in danger, my clone will disperse and I'll learn about the things that are happening around Sasori. Well, that's the worst case scenario, so I'm still hopeful about the results without my involvement.'
A few more minutes passed and Kira sensed a small group of his bugs coming back towards him. These bugs were inside Sasori at this moment and were used to keep track of his location.
He could also use his flying raijin's seal marks too, but he preferred having contingency plans.
Like he had expected, Sasori walked into the wooden hut which was their temporary hide out. He had a man hanging over his shoulder and Kira could tell that he was alive with a single glance.
"Come here, I'll take his life." he said as he pointed at the floor in front of him, to which, Sasori silently nodded in response.
He placed the third Kazekage in front of Kira and stepped back before speaking, "Try to keep the damage minimal, please. I plan on making him my puppet after all."
Kira nodded once and concentrated a little bit of chakra at the tip of his index finger. Once he felt like he had enough chakra, he crouched down and placed his finger on the Kazekage's chest, right on top of his heart.
He used the same technique that he usually used to numb the pain of his patients and overloaded the heart area with his overwhelming amount of chakra. This stopped the third Kazekage's chakra from circulating to the heart.
While this area was "numb", the heart slowed down the frequency of pumping blood until it stopped completely. Kira continued to send in more and more chakra as he kept his senses on an all time high.
He felt the chakra in the third kazekage's body deplete at an extremely high rate until there was none.
Without any physical energy, chakra wouldn't exist and that was exactly what happened in the third kazekage's case.
"I'm done. Perfect body with no damages. You know, Sasori... you've actually gained a lot more in this deal compared to me." he said, smiling as he created four large 1 meter cubes.
Sasori didn't say anything, and instead went on an alert as he took on his fighting stance.
"What? You want to fight?" Kira asked as he leisurely looked at Sasori, who stared at him for a while before relaxing his arms.
"I thought you'd attack me... I apologise."
"it's fine, it's fine." Kira waved his hand as he was in a pretty good mood, "Anyone would act like you if they had a strong will to live and were facing against a person way stronger than them. Anyways, I'm fine with what I got even though the trade wasn't equivalent."
After saying this, he glanced at the third kazekage and sighed, "He would have died even without my involvement, so there's nothing for me to worry about."
Before Sasori could respond, Kira disappeared from where he stood and so did the clone that was close to Sasori.
Kira found himself back in his tent as he opened up his system screen. He had just received a character point for killing the Kazekage, and he wanted to use it as soon as possible.
'I could just wait for the third Raikage to tire out before assassinating him, but I'll only gain one character point. If I play my cards right, I'll gain way more than a single character point.' he thought as the corner of his lips curved upwards.
