Ninety-nine desert nights

Isabel

She's back in her mini house, she's never been tired like this, but she had so much fun. She's just sad thinking that she won't be able to tell her parents that she didn't suffer. The midday sun was scorching the vegetables that she just planted outside. She reminded herself to put in some shed for her plants not to get too much sun.

She wanted to have the same experience as the night before, but she would at least need a day or two to rest. She needs to see Hash again.

She had this feeling of safety and warmth whenever she's with him. She couldn't explain how she can't get enough of him. To her, his presence was addicting.

Her thoughts were swimming with the memory of the night before, the short but satisfying shenanigan they had in bed. She closed her eyes, making it as if his kiss was lingering on her lips. Her brain remembered his pleasant aroma that attracted her in the first place.

She giggled at the memory of his thick voice, demanding her to stay in his tent. She wanted to see how pissed he was not finding her when he's back.

He must have blown his assistant's head for that. Was it possible that he got her things? She hoped that he had. She got nothing to hide except that crazy video of her getting wasted, it's a bit embarrassing, but she's dying what can embarrassment do for her?

She closed her eyes one more and pretended that she's in Hash's royal tent.

In the crowned prince's mansion, Hash was keeping himself in his study. He writes in a format like he's inside his high school library, taking notes for the exams.

He might be able to produce a makeshift solar panel to have Isabel's gadget charged. When he thought he could copy as much as he can. He took a rest and stared somewhere else because he spent so many hours looking at the iPhone. But her naked image was playing in his mind, her smell was lingering on her iPhone.

"You're a siren, do you know that?" He is now staring at her picture in her photo gallery. He smirked when he saw a pose like she was blowing a kiss on someone else. In the picture, her lips pouted exaggeratedly.

She might want to look sultry, but she looked like a cute duckling. Hash wanted to suck that incredibly cherry red lips.

He touches the screen like the picture is Isabel herself. "You better not die." deep in his subconscious, he was obsessed with her already.

he might be aware but he has a bit of hesitation. It might be the pageant or something else. One thing was for sure, he was attracted to her.

The pageant will start in a month, she had to get back to Novalia before it starts; she needed to join, it's the only option to make his wife. He was the one who suggested it, and the king had already sent a royal decree. He scratches his own head and just scolded himself for being lame.

On Isabel's iPhone, it says 2 in the afternoon. But he was not sure which part of the world she was in right now. According to the shadows of the night, it's near twelve midnight.

"Are you having a wild night again, or are you sleeping?" As if asking her picture on her phone would make her appear in front of him. He wondered what she was wearing when she sleeps, does she sleep alone?

He ran his finger over his lips and smiled.

"My prince, your father King Desmond summons you." A servant from the king's palace softly called outside his room. He was cut off from his sweet escape. And gave out a soft sigh.

"Yes, I will see him." He answered.

He placed her iPhone in a safe place and wondered what his father wanted this time. He already agreed that it's the first princess that will handle the national finance, which means his expenditures were being regulated by the bureau every time he will have a project he will have it approved, which was a sign of good governance.

He was not sure how trustworthy the princess was. But Hash knew that all politicians were corrupt. He could allow her to cut a chunk of beef, that's fine, she's his sister anyway and the only daughter.

He didn't have any memory of this palace because he was not Hashim. He did not know what happened to Hashim, they might have switched places or whatever.

He had been in this place for over two years, so he was a little familiar with the king's palace. At the door, a servant was already waiting outside.

"His Majesty is waiting inside my prince." The king's loyal servant bowed and opened the door for him, Hash was sure that even if they were not looking, if his father told this guy to roll a hundred times on the floor, he will do it without a question.

"Your highness." It was a custom of Novalia for a subject to kiss the hand of a king, and it's a custom for the king to put his hand on the forehead of his subject.

"Sit down Hashim." They covered the entire office with souvenirs from different countries. Most of them were the prized possessions of the nations Novalia had conquered, and eighty percent of it was Hash's contribution.

"I am here to tell you that, I have someone in mind to be your wife, but you still have the privilege to choose. She is no other than the daughter of the prime minister." Hash knew that this old fart had something in his mind, but he was testing the waters.

"I'm listening, father." He meant spit it out whatever he wanted from him, so they could compromise. The king pretended to be busy and stared at him as if he was multi-tasking. He looked ridiculous, but Hash knew how he shows his antics.

"Well The girl has been trained all around. She trained with household chores, educated. You knew only a few of the girls in this kingdom have education and trained with archery and some swords art." Desmond pulled up a scroll from a small chest under his table. It was a sketch drawing of the lady he was referring to.

Damn, she looked hot. Her skin was olive, chest almost overflowing with the orange dress she was wearing. Her eyes were fierce, ready to pounce. He made a bit of grunting sound and then chuckled.

"Father, you always knew my taste." He then rolled back the parchment, looked at the king's eyes, smiling. He didn't want to disapprove, but he's not sure either.

"No, you just inherited it from me." King Desmond let out a hyperventilating noise that sounded like a hyena laughing. It's a cue for Hash to follow suit, so he laughed his laughing sound was more hilarious than his joke.
