Sacred oath

At 05.30 GMT+7, in a 2-storey semi-permanent restaurant, standing firmly in the middle of a large flower garden with shady trees, you can see the dawn starting to appear by itself on the eastern horizon and settling behind a lonely tree branch and already filled with morning dew.

The first rays of light that are still soft warm the bodies of a young couple who are sitting on the roof of a restaurant while eating a plate of seafood fried noodles. Nadine chose to sit on the open second floor to enjoy breakfast while admiring the beautiful natural scenery around the villa.

The green expanse of rice fields and hills spoils the eyes of the couple who are in love, the melodious strains of forest birds with their distinctive voices become musical accompaniment for those who are increasingly in love.

"Marry me, Gilang." Said Nadine, who suddenly furrowed Gilang's eyebrows, "Hack..." Gilang choked on Nadine's crazy request and he immediately took a glass of orange juice, then drank it,

Nadine's face went blank, she stared intently at Gilang's face, wild contemplation playing in Nadine's mind, why Gilang was surprised to hear her request, immediately a negative opinion emerged in Nadine's mind.

Nadine crossed her arms in front of her chest, she looked at Gilang's face full of disappointment and immediately her face sank into sadness, "If you really love me... it's not too early." said Nadine.

Gilang frowned, then replied, "I really love you, isn't it better for us to understand each other's nature, after being able to accept each other's shortcomings, after that we decided to get married."

Nadine made no sound and her eyes rolled down the hill "Never mind, let's end our relationship, no need to talk about it anymore." Said Nadine who quickly sulked.

Gilang was cornered by Nadine's oppressive nature, "How is this? There's no way I'm going to marry Nadine this soon." Gilan thought

"Alright, if that's what you want, I'll stop working." Gilang said and his words were able to make Nadine's eyes roll towards his face then Gilang stood up from his chair, he looked at Nadine's face deeply while taking out the car keys from behind his pants, then said firmly, "I'm going home now!"

Nadine got up from her position, her face was red, then she shouted at Gilang in a high voice:

"What are you so cruel, Gilang! You promised to protect me! I can definitely count on it to get me home from here."

"Okay! Let's go home now!" Gilang snaps, increasingly irritated by Nadine's extreme attitude, a couple who both have inner traits like small children with the condition of an only child.

Nadine was silent, her eyes filled with tears looking at Gilang's eyes, without saying anything she buried her face in Gilang's chest, hugged Gilang's body tightly with her hands, she didn't want to let go of Gilang and cried.

"You promised to take care of me, you lied." Nadine moaned and cried.

"You are too pushy, I do not like that kind of nature, marriage is sacred and not to seek sexual desire." Gilang said while hugging Nadine's body and their fight had become a spectacle for the restaurant employees. They know Gilang is the CEO and owner of the villa.

The whispers of the restaurant employees will cause gossip among the Villa employees. CEO gossip will quickly become a trending topic in villa employee WhatApps groups. When else would they be able to see their CEO having such a big fight with his girlfriend.

Nadine looked up, her eyes wet with tears, she said softly to Gilang with a face full of complaints, "I'm so scared, please don't snap at me again."

Gilang moved his head and wiped Nadine's tears, "I'm sorry, honey," Gilang said regretfully.

"Let's go back to the villa, after taking a shower I will take you to buy a prayer hijab." Gilang said.

Nadine grinned and held out her little finger, she asked Gilang to make a pact with her, "Promise me first, you will never leave me and you will never scold me." said Nadine.

Gilang wrapped his little finger around Nadine's, then said, "I won't let you go, as long as you don't repeat your childish behavior."

"You cool guy, you should know that young women need reassurance when they sulk, not scold." Nadine cynical. Gilang frowned, "I've never been close to a young lady and I don't like being pushy, it's up to you." Gilang answered in a curt tone and the fire of argument flared up again but Nadine relented, she swallowed all of Gilang's words sincerely.

"Sorry, let`s go, honey." Nadine said and she would rather give up than continue the fight that would end in separation. Nadine took Gilang's hand and they headed for the stairs to go down to the ground floor.

They walked hand in hand through a beautiful flower garden and suddenly Romeo stopped beside a rose garden and Romeo himself picked a red rose and gave it to Nadine.

"For you, I'm sorry honey." Gilang said

Nadine received a red rose and then smelled the rose. This is the first time in Nadine's life to receive flowers from a young man. Nadine is traumatized by her family's divorce and makes her even more afraid of separation so she doesn't want to experience love.

"You're not wrong Gilang, I'm wrong, but you have to understand my psychology because of my family turmoil, I'm afraid of breaking up with you, so I want to marry you soon." said Nadine explaining her intention of asking Gilang to marry her as soon as possible.

"You are my first love, I'm afraid of losing you, please consider my request, I won't force it." Said Nadine with full expectation of Gilang's reaction.

Gilang took Nadine back to the villa that Nadine rented, then Nadine put her arm around Gilang's waist and Gilang himself put his arm around Nadine's shoulder.

"I will not leave you unless you love another man." Gilang said.

"Ha ha..." Nadine laughed for no reason, "I will never love another man, even if we have to separate in the end, I will not look for your replacement, until you find mine." said Nadine firmly.

"Me, too." Gilang answered and Nadine stopped for a moment, removed her hand from Gilang's waist while turning to face Gilang then she stretched out her pinky finger, "Okay, we swear under heaven."

Gilang linked Nadine's pinky fingers and together they promised under the sky and in the middle of a vast flower garden, he started swearing first, "I swear, I will not love another woman until you love another man." Gilang said seriously.

"I swear you are the only man I love in this world, I will never love another man." said Nadine.

"Duarr!" there was no wind and rain suddenly lightning struck the tops of the big trees beside the garden.

"Our oath is heard by those in power, don't mess with our oath." Nadine said with a smile, that she was satisfied if their vows were approved by the Almighty.

Cold sweat appeared on Gilang's forehead, "Okay, I know, let's go back to the Villa." Gilang said nervously and led Nadine back to the Villa while his mind was still remembering the thunder that confirmed their vows.

They walked down the path to the villa, Gilang was still thinking about the oath that had been taken while Nadine smiled, "I'm sure Gilang won't dare to leave me." Nadine thought, in her heart she was very happy, the solution to marriage had been answered directly by God.
