Earlier that same day, in the house of the pureblooded vampire, in the town of Cuckooland, were John and his master inside the dark room the pureblooded vampire always stayed in.
John knelt with one knee and his head deeply bowed at his master who was smoking his pipe and a glass of blood wine in the other hand. He would occasionally puff a thick cloud of smoke from his mouth before speaking in his hoarse deep voice.
He questioned the kneeling John, "Why haven't you completed the task I ordered you to do? Why haven't you brought the lady to me?" His voice sounded hard and pissed off as he spoke still smoking his pipe that clouded the room with a choking smell of the smoke.
John's head lowered more than it was before in a more deep and respectful bow. He responded to his master's question, "Forgive me, master, that I haven't completed the task. I am waiting for the right time so I can capture and bring her to you."
