"O-Oh… good morning. Did you sleep well?" Julius asked, a sheepish smile tugging at his lips as he scratched his cheek. 

Lyra's morning smile was so enchanting, he couldn't help but gaze at her, albeit feeling somewhat awkward given the events of the previous night. 

"Yeah… did you…?" Lyra replied, her voice a timid whisper. 

"I did…" 

"That's good then…" 

An awkward silence filled the room. It was their first morning together after sharing an intimate night. While they hadn't gone all the way, they'd gotten quite close.

"Sorry for falling asleep…" Julius mumbled, burying his face in his pillow out of embarrassment. 

"It's not your fault… it was wrong of me to disturb you when you were tired." Hearing this, Julius abruptly lifted his head and inched closer to her. 

"You didn't bother me, I really enjoyed it." 

"Really…?" Lyra asked, looking up at him expectantly.
