Prologue 24 (Part 1) Illjako Enterprise CEO, Mako Nini and Forms Of Energy.

"Hello, we finally meet."

Above her Telewatch was the holographic image of a hidden identification profile shown by the lack of a moving avatar or a figure making movements in real time. And in a basement room that Kazu Nini had never found out about, was her guardian. She had revealed herself on the video call but the man had not.

"What is the meaning of this?"

Mako Nini shook her head in idle remembrance as she really just was expecting and hoping the guy was straightforward. "You would not believe the way I asked politely. I asked everyone that I came across."

"If you already got his identification, then why the need to entirely ruin everything?"

"I did not know that happened, it must mean that they attempted to remove the AreaExpander, DamageRoom and AreaFortifier without care." She laughed, "what amateurs… or maybe they were looking for important documents." She slapped her forehead in honest thought, "maybe I should have taken more than just his head."

"I have heard stories about you."

"Oh, really?" Mako Nini rested back into her chair and folded her arms with a smile. "Please, indulge me."

He chuckled, "well then, I will."

She stood up, crossing the room full of either test tubes or cylindrical containers large enough to hold human beings, ranging from 3 meters to 20. Another end of the wall was her with a picture of Eshyl Jknignah and Talok Nini. The short refrigerator under them was placed there so that she will never forget.

"I know about your conflict with the nobles."

"Go on." Her eyes delayed a second on the portrait before grabbing a drink. And the combo of her large spectacles and her lab coat looked quite contradictory.

"I know what you did last time and I know you do not need to be reminded how it ended."

She almost destroyed everything about her but kept her powers back on leash the second everything began creaking like old and rotten wood. "True, but last time, there was effect because of cause. There was a pattern, there was logic and there were lies. But this time…" She took a slow breath, "how do you justify the incident that happened?"

The man did not speak for a while, "what incident? Why would I ever want to ever get entangled with the Mad Nini family?"

Mako regarded him and considered if it had truly been done without orders but then she contemplated a while before sending the picture of her niece, Kazu Nini, to the man.

"Oh that?" he scoffed. "I have footage of what happened in there but I did not sanction it."

"I know about what makes you sell." She took another sip, "do not lie to me."

"She was not permanently harmed and she has been recovered, I assume." He then clicked his tongue, "I should have known; a noble would not waste time on such an incident because they know we usually do not cross each other's paths and commoners would not dare… but not a Nini."

"Our status is special, true." She smiled at the fond memories of herself with Kazu Nini's real parents when the man spoke again.

"Yeah, I learnt you are half nobles."

Mako Nini vomited until her lab coat was covered. "Don't ever, please."

"You cannot deny the truth."

"Truth… truth is what you make of it." She shows not to wipe what was on her mouth.

"I am not here to play word games. I only need to know how you plan on compensating me because of my loss to business."

"Please, you only care about face and the gossip that has started going around." She snapped her fingers. "Let me finish; dreamers believe that their reality lies to them until they achieve what they plan to and then that becomes the truth when their situations change. It is truth that people do not heal better than amphibians when injured but cultivation changes that. It is truth that people are ignorant and illiterate but education changes that."

"The gossip going around?" He hissed, "do you mean those punks who spoke more than they should have on the television." The man laughed darkly, "to the public it is pure gossip as my men are taking care of that and we both know that other nobles do much worse."

"Do not get me wrong, I do not think you are wrong or right, I am pointing no fingers. I am just saying you know I will retaliate, right?"

He fell silent. "Is that a threat?"

"A threat? it is not even a promise. It is just my truth."

"The last time you pulled a major stunt on the nobles you had considerable…losses… and you need not waste your time. So, why do we not just call it even?"

"How can I find you?"

He laughed, "do you actually expect me to tell you that?"

"You know, you have a lot of business out in the open. And you know your business are not only in Jhoklon. And you know I won't stop."

"You people are truly mad."

"That is not an answer."

"I do not have time for thi-"

She ended the call and decided to repeat her escapade every week, to the other branches of his companies that she had dealt with this week. Although they might be more troublesome as he might get the government involved and he would be on alert but it was going to be worth it.

"Thank you, you really did not rat us out." The Werewolf that she had told to do a few things for her stood beside the Dark Elf, both of whom she had fought in the building a day ago.

"You remain useful," her face was so blank they did not know if that was a threat or hope.

"At least, with you we remain alive a little longer."

"I am not after your lives," she turned to them again. "Do I look like a noble to you? I am not that petty."

"Yeah, but he said that you wer-"

The werewolf clamped the girls' mouth and shook his head.

"You learn quick," she might just like this werewolf a sliver more. "Now, where are we going next?"

The young Pixie had cultivated throughout the days; Training rooms in the morning and cultivation at night. Kazu Nini had wanted to be able to merge her moves quicker so that they could be executed real time in battle but maybe cultivation would help her with that. And that Monday night, she vowed that she would not stop till she hit the next stage.

Kneading that Ko-jin in her Ko-jin chamber from when she got back untill she avoided food and was up till late night, she finally broke through at 12.

The young Pixie could see that her skin now wanted to accept Ko-jin veins to them, or meridians, so that she could begin cultivation in the 7th Level of The Divine Early Stage. She punched the air in victory and felt that she should probably get some pointers. So, she hit up the Sprite Twins.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: Any other tips?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): Do a fitness regimen.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): In all and for all forms.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM: As in exercise and diet and balance? Or something else?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): Train the mind how you can, the spirit and all that.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): Also, try to get more energy to blend with the Ko-jin, so that when you reach higher levels of growth, it happens almost naturally.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : More energy to blend with Ko-jin like what, Mental Energy?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): Yes, also Chi/Qi, Prana, Chakra, Plasma, Astral, Dark Matter and all that.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): Tribulation energy, light, heat, chemical, mechanical, blah and blah

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : So, is this really significant in battle and how much does it help?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): Well, if Ko-jin is a 0.50 increase to power, them Chi/Qi, Prana or Chakra would be 0.25 and Plasma and dark Matter, even Astral, would be like 0.75.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): Tribulation energy would be 0.95 or 0.145 depending on the occasion. Whereas, light, heat, chemical and mechanical additions would be 0.125. But all this is relative to Ko-jin.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : Woah, you said Tribulation Energy could be between 0.95 or 0.145 what does that mean? And the addition of energy to Ko-jin does that have to be in a ratio of 100:50 or 50:50 or what exactly?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): In our Hyol Nebula, the heavens give energy so that its life forms can flourish, yes? That, means it seeks to help or, let us use the term, enact justice where it should be. And if justice means helping those who need a boost or taking away from those that do not, then that is what it will do.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): Also, it is best to start with Ko-jin and let it be ahead until it is at least 55 percent before letting another energy ratio reach 50.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : Are you saying that if Tribulation Energy were added to a cultivators techniques they would be stronger on certain occasions, like it is intelligent? How do I know the ratio of Ko-jin to energy I am putting at my current state?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): I am stating that logically speaking, if a weaker cultivator were to fight a stronger cultivator, the weaker has a higher chance of winning because of the boost that the Tribulation Energy might add to his attacks in a fight. If they added tribulation energy to their cultivation but of course, that has its advantages and disadvantages.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): You have to learn the structure of Ko-jin and then use your brains for the rest.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : How can I absorb Tribulation Energy? It sounds like a deal breaker, and what are the types of Energy. I want to know so that I will know what to focus on when cultivate. Devon, you can literally not answer if you do not want to. Advantages, disadvantages, also. Please, just say it all.

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): There is Genesis Energy, which we shall classify as heavenly energy that can be found in its veins or from Tribulation Energy that is its most direct and potent source. Then, you have Primal Energy which I heard is rarer than anything across the Nebulas of the Universes. Chi/Qi, Prana, Chakra, and some others are Life Force, Breath force so this is Being Energy. Light, heat and all that is General Energy.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): Haha. The ones like Plasma, Astral and Dark Matter are known as Universal Energy. And the way to Absorb Tribulation energy would be during a tribulation or you could just use the safe way and get a heavenly vein that you could cultivate with. And about having to study on your own- there are just some things you have to get an enlightenment and not use help to fully and best understand.

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : I'll take your word for it, Devon. And thanks both of you. Now, last question – how can I begin to balance the ratios out so that my cultivation is not affected? And can I pester you whenever I need more help?

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): It is best in the first trilogy as when this does not happen, cultivators are said to draw out too much power until their meridians char and burn or until they are struck by the elements or source of energy which they wish to wield.

UndyingSpiritDevon777 (Devon): We are not answering that last question. However, are you sure you never used Tribulation energy, because I feel I sensed it in our fight?

X_XNiniThePixieXDTM : No, not at all maybe I was around someone who was having a tribulation once. Also, the advantages and disadvantages to tribulation energy.

777UndyingSpiritKivon (Kivon): …That is indeed possible. Good night, oh dear boss.

Kazu Nini remembered that when she had her first tribulation, she had clutched the dolls in her hands and that was probably the reason why she had won the Sprite twins in their battle…but they did not need to know that. And as she closed her eyes to rest, she knew that she was going to visit the bookstore next when she got the chance and decided to let her head rest as she would have to share the rewards tomorrow before she met the Alchemist, who would help her to best utilize the rewards she had been given from the exam.
