Wrong Time

Imani felt like she was falling through an endless black hole and she couldn't hear or feel anything. She couldn't see Lucas or Nikolay either and she tried to call out to them but couldn't either. She finally hit something hard and let out a groan as her vision rapidly cleared.

Trees... She could see trees. The sky was also blue, it was no longer raining and she was really cold. What the hell?

"Imani," a voice called out and she turned her head to the side to see Nikolay and Lucas getting to their feet before they both moved to her side while she sat up. "Are you alright?" they asked in unison as they glanced around and Imani did the same.

"I- I'm fine," she muttered as she furrowed her brows at their surroundings which was a clearing while pulling on the robe she was wearing. "Where are we?"
