Imani and Lola frowned while Lucas' brows knitted. Jarlath Mercer was a vampire... the first vampire. Evaine was older than Nikolay so he was more than eight hundred years old... What does Nia mean by she should have killed him before Jarlath turned him?

"Turned him?" she asked just as Nikolay quickly said, "There's a Wigan witch with him and since he wants to kill me, there's a high chance the witch will come after me."

The corner of Nia's mouth quirked up because he had saved her from answering that question and she scoffed again because of what he said. "Do you know her name? Her full name?

"Alianore Nulara." He removed his hand from the bowl before pushing it to Nia as she grabbed the vial of the T virus on the table, opened it and then poured it into the bowl while nodding to herself. "Do you know her?"
