"Get him," Aksel stated and Lucas' lips pulled back in a feral snarl as three vampires, whose faces were a rictus of hunger and fury, rushed towards him.

The moment they came to a stop in front of him, he grabbed the arm of a red-haired female vampire that tried to swing at him and ducked his shoulders to roll her across his back, throwing her hard to the ground. He quickly twisted the head of another all the way around, hearing her neck shatter as he did, just as the male vampire took a swing at him but he easily dodged it.

His fangs came down as he aimed for Lucas' throat but Lucas shifted and spun so his fangs sank harmlessly into his upper arm. He withdrew his fangs and Lucas grabbed his arm, dislocating his shoulder with a deeply satisfying pop before throwing him as far as he could. As soon as he was airborne, more vampires charged at him when he rushed towards Aksel, cutting him off midway.
