Any slight noise made her jolt and glance over her shoulders to see if security was coming after her because she knew they would have been alerted when she copied the files. She hadn't planned the theft well – okay, she hadn't planned at all – since the only thing she was concerned about was fixing the situation in Wolfborn.

She guessed that she not being detained the moment she and Lola stepped onto the ground floor had something to do with Parisa but it hadn't crossed her mind to check the woman's office to see if she was there while she was still in the building because all she wanted to do was quickly get the hell out of there.
