Imani let out a sigh as she used a towel to dry her face after washing it. She hadn't been able to sleep well last night because Nikolay and Lucas had been on her mind. She had slept in her room alone because Nikolay had stayed in the living room with Chloe and Jennie, telling them about everything that had happened after they disappeared, and if he had actually wanted to sleep, she was pretty sure Lucas wouldn't have let him stay in her room.

Even in this moment, the both of them were still on her mind.

She cleared her throat while running her hands through her hair before turning around and opening the door to see Lucas standing on the other side of it. "Lucas," she said, her eyes widening slightly, and he grabbed her hand, pulling her to him before picking her up.

"You're going on a run with me," he stated. He wasn't asking her, he was telling her and it sounded like he wasn't going to take 'no' for an answer.
