To survive we need to do everything

Morning comes, and Lee and the others are looking at the sky waiting for the airdrop supply, it's already been 9 yet there is still no sign of any plane to come.

They are already on the road, with the pickup truck [Lea] - "Hey, will the government do something like this? Like come on it's the apocalypse" [Carl] - "Hey look! There's a plane!"

[Althea] - "It may be the apocalypse but there are still kind people out there" they drop a box, [Lee] - "Stop the chit chat and let's go!" they got in the pickup truck, Lee is the back of the pickup truck standing and looking for where the box will land.

[Lee] - "Okay stop!" [Ashley] - "Why did we stop?" [Lee] - "We're not the only people left in the city, for sure they all saw that box going down we should wait for it to drop and see if there is a group of people trying to get it"

They hide their pickup truck at the alley near where the box is about to drop, the box drop and a group of survivors rushed there "Alright let's go!" they get out of the pickup truck and pointed their guns at them "Hands up"

"Who are you, people?" the group of survivors asked they are only 3 of them an Oldman with a beard and two girls "We're here for the box nothing more" Lee signaled the others to look at the box.

[Lee] - "And why are you still here anyways? Why didn't you go with the military?" "We have our reasons" [Lea] - "Lee, it's indeed a supply" [Lee] - "Take the box to the pickup truck"

Ashley gets the pickup truck "Looks like you can survive this disaster, with your coordination and you as their leader" "I'm only doing what I can" they get the pickup truck and start putting the box to the back.

"I'm already an old man, and I can't protect my daughter this is my request, Can you protect them for me?" "dad!" "Dad!" the old man starts coughing it gets harder and harder then he coughed blood, "I'm sorry my daughters but my body is at a limit"

"Althea get the medicine!" "There's no point" the old man lift his shirt and he was bitten, "I'm already a dying old man, can I have your word before I die?" his two daughters are crying and hugging him.

"Why are you so sure that I'm not a bad man? I might do awful things to your daughter you know" "You can't, if you wanted to you can just shot me dead and taken my daughter yet you didn't"

[Ashley] - "Lee! We're ready to go!" Lee walks towards them, "I'll protect them as you request" "Thank you... Now go and follow this man at all costs remember don't hate him for doing this thing, we need a man like him to lead you all"

"Althea take them" "No!!" "Don't touch me!" "Let me go!!" Ashley and Lea came down and helped Althea to get the girls, "Noo!! Dad!" "dad!!" they shouted, the old man kneel and gives him his machete, "It's an honor to be killed while I'm still a human being"

Lee pointed his gun at the old man's head, "May you rest in peace" Bang! Lee takes the machete and walks to the pickup truck he hops in at the back where Carl was also there.

Carl nodded at him, and Lee nodded back, they went back to the House the two girls still can't believe what happened to their father.

When Lee comes into the living room one of the girls rushed toward him and slap his face, "How dare you show your face after all you've done! Pack your things, Sophia! We're leaving"

Lee blocks her, "What!? Are you gonna kill me too?" "Do you think you two can survive there alone? Your father has died and requested me to protect you two! Now you want to leave and even want to take your sibling with you!?"

"Do you even know what's out there at night!? Can you kill those guys huh!? Not only will you get yourself killed but you will also kill your sibling! Do you want that!? You don't know how much suffering I got from killing a human being! Do you think I wanted to!?"

"Althea never let these two leave the house, I'm gonna take a shower to cool my head off" at the bathroom Lee was just standing in the shower having deep thoughts.

"God, I'm doing the right thing? Do I need to kill a human just to survive?" he started to cry "What have we done to deserve this?" a whisper again come to his head.

"To survive you need to do everything, I mean everything, don't get discouraged, you always do what's the for your group right? They have their life in their hands so don't ever make a wrong move you need to do it to survive but do it humanely" the water continues to drop from his head.

"To survive I need to do anything... Because we need to survive I need to do it for us to survive" those words came out of Lee's mouth with him knowing.

In the living room, [Althea] - "Hey, don't get mad at Lee his just following what your father has requested" "And part of that was to get killed?" "You saw it too didn't you, that bite mark"

"What's up with that? It's just a bite he can get healed when everything is done" "You... Never seen those things at night?" "What do you mean?" Althea was shocked, "I see... I will let you see it at night, for now, you can come with us"

Lee came out, "I'm done, let's go" Lea, Ashely, and Carl were installing the solar panel, The four of them get inside the pickup truck.

"Where are we going?" [Althea] - "Where going to the supermarket, there might be still supplies or weapons there, by the way, my name is Althea, this is Lee, and those three we saw at the top of the house were Ashley, Lea, and Carl"

"I'm Hannah and this is my twin Sophia" "Hello" "We're here get your bag and let's get going"
