The War After Peace

*9S putting on his socks or something*

*A2 walks in*

"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU BITCH!", he shouts.

A2 responds by pressing him against the wall with her heel, "That's no way to talk to me."

9S responds, "BUT YOU-"

2B walks in, "Nines, A2, what's going on now?"

9S goes silent from the beautiful sight of 2B, as usual, before stuttering out a response, "I-I'm doing nothing! A-A2 is the one who won't take her foot off me!"

A2 clicks her teeth, "auhhh... You're such a baby."

9S bites back, "I WILL kill you."

2B gets in the middle of them and grabs their hands, "Hey now, we're free now, the war's over, and we're all safe, remember? Now it's time to end this war between the two of you."

A2 grows irritated, while 9S blushes from 2B holding his hand, "What?!", they both say for different reasons.

2B tries to bring 9S's and A2's hands together, but they both pull back with all their might and 200kg body weight (since they're androids), but 2B still manages to get their hands to almost touch.

2B fails at her attempt to get the two to hold hands.

"What are you trying to do?!", they both say in unison.

"I'm trying to get the two of you to hold hands."

"Not happening", they both say at the same time once again.

2B sighs as she comes up with a plan.

She decides, "Then I'm not letting go of either of you until the two of you start holding hands."

...

"WHAT?!?", A2 and 9S's minds start racing.

A2 thinks of ways to get out of the situation, but ultimately fails, while 9S thinks about how annoying it's going to be to spend the entire time with A2 until either one of them gives in.

[He is willing to take on the challenge, mostly because the longer it lasts, the longer he gets to hold 2B's hand.]

"Ok, it's settled.", 2B decides.

After spending the day together as normal but forced together, when it came to private situations like changing clothes, and going to sleep, since all three of them have stupid levels of stubbornness equally, they have to go through these events together.

[In the change rooms]

"Turn the other way!", shouts A2 to 9S.

"And how would I know that you won't then stab ME in the back?!"

"GUYS! That's enough. It's both of your own faults that we have to do this in the first place..."

The two whisper under their breath as they loathe one another as the two of them change.

As 9S changes, he notices that in front of him is a mirror, and sees A2 changing.

He quickly put his head down, and thinks to himself 'Damn it! Why is this happening to me!! It's so embarrassing that I have to change while 2B is holding my hand, but it's also annoying that A2 is also here, but at the same time, she too is changing so it doesn't feel right to be angry at her, WHICH IS WRONG! I hate her, I can't forget that.

It's really hard to change with one hand. How will 2B change after we're done?

2B changing 🤤'

9S's pod begins to scream outside the change rooms, "WARNING, WARNING, ANDROID UNIT 9S IS OVERHEATING! WARNING, WARNING-"

"What?!", A2 and 2B turn their head in unison.

9S quickly puts his pants on, "DON'T LOOK YOU PERVERTED WOMAN!!"

2B begins to tear up, "I'm not a pervert..."

"N-NO! Not you 2B, I would never mean to ever call you that."

"I AM NOT A PERVERT", A2 responds while facing 9S in her lingerie.

9S looks at her exposing herself, "Yes you are."

"NO I'M NOT!!"

The two bump heads while topless, and 2B sees this as an opportunity to get them to hold hands since they are at a close distance now.

The two feel their hands slowly be pulled towards each other.

Almost as though in slow motion, they both turn to face their hands and try and grab their strength at the last second, "Nooooooooooooo...".

They caught themselves just in time, before 2B could succeed.

"Come on guys, this is getting ridiculous!"

"NEVER!", they both shout.

2B sighs as A2 and 9S go back to changing.

9S glances up at the mirror a couple of times without knowing why, and accidentally thinks to himself, 'A2's ass is like 2B's- WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING?!'.

The two finally finish before turning to 2B so it's easier to walk out of the room.

"Wait, I haven't been changed yet."

"Oh yeah, I forgot.", A2 halts.

9S mentions the key phase, "'Been changed'?"

"Of course, I don't have any extra hands coming out of me, do I?"

9S's pod screams again, "WARNING, WARNING-", and they all ignore it thinking that it's just a malfunction.

"Come on, it's both of your faults that I'm in this mess. Now hurry up and change me."

A2 pouts, "Hm, why me..."

9S is silent out loud but is screaming on the inside, 'OH MY GOD IT'S HAPPENING!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I'M ABOUT TO GO TO SECOND BASE WITH 2B!!! The time is now. HEAVEN ON EARTH WILL BE IN MY GRASP!!'

A2 goes behind 2B to help her unzip her suit from her back.

9S shoves A2 with his shoulder and tries to do it instead.

The two silently fight over 2B's zipper, "Ummm, guys?"

The two of them continue to fight over it like cats with one another, before suddenly freezing when they catch something.

That something wasn't the zipper, but was each other's hands.

They're holding hands.

The two look up to face one another, shocked with disbelief.

Both of their black boxes (hearts/souls) start to race, and quickly let go of one another.

They both quickly glance at 2B to see if she noticed that they failed, but she appears to be innocently waiting to be changed.

9S uses sign language, 'You. Grab. Her. Zipper.'

A2 gives a thumbs up.

A2 and 9S coordinate 2B's body and undress her.

9S didn't realise the situation he was in until it came to the underwear, "Um, Nines. Can you let A2 handle this one for me?"

He curses in his mind, 'Ha! What?! When did we get here?! DAMN YOU A2!! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR TAKING MY CHANCE OF GLORY... Wait, it doesn't have to end here.'

"Are you sure?", 9S asks confidently.

"Yes."

[Mission failed. We'll get 'em next time.]

9S depressively walks a distance while still holding 2B's hand, and turns the other way.

2B whispers to A2, "I saw that you know."

A2 blushes immediately, realising that 2B is referring to the hand-holding.

She whispers back, "It's 9S's fault. He's the one who lost, not me."

2B tells her, "I assume that since you didn't talk about letting go of hands even after me finding out, that you want to keep this going until one of you wins over the other?"

A2 goes silent and stares at 2B in the mirror as she was going to put her goggles (the blindfold-looking thing) on, and freezes.

2B asks A2 quietly again, so 9S doesn't hear, "You actually want to be his friend, don't you?".

A2's entire body becomes still. She realises that what 2B is saying is actually true, and takes a glance at 9S.

She stares at the back of his head while peaking out from behind 2B, and thinks to herself, 'It would be nice if we would hang out like we did today without 2B forcing us.

…

And there are even times I've noticed that he's actually a good person, at least, when he isn't trying to wring my neck.', she jokes.

9S's head quickly looks down.

'Hm? What's that about?', A2 thinks to herself.

She then decides to muster up the courage to tell 2B her response.

A2 and 2B turn to face one another, "Can you help me do that?".

2B says "I already am", and then warmly smiles.

A2 continues to change 2B as she hides her smile.

Once 2B is done being changed she then says, "Ok, let's go out now."

A2 and 9S respond with a quiet and shy, "Ok.".

'Why is 9S shy NOW?'.

As the three of them go to the door, they pass a mirror. A2 notices this and as she leaves the room, she realises what had just happened.

*gasp*

She stares down at the floor in disbelief and embarrassment,

'I CANNOT let 2B know... WHO'S THE PERVERT? FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, SO HE SAW ME AS WELL!!*Sigh* Calm yourself A2, everyone has their flaws.

Your goal is to now be friends with 9S, not become even worse enemies.

If I were to say that he did THAT, he might actually kill me since 2B might hate him. Geez, that obsessive freak.'

A2 tries to get her mind off of the fact that 9S was peaking on the two of them changing.

2B asks, "Shouldn't we check to see what's wrong with 9S's pod now?".

"NO!", 9S and A2 shout.

'What? Why does she care? Is she that lazy to work on someone else's pod? Whatever, it works out in my favor.', 9S thinks to himself.

A2 quickly thinks of an excuse as to why she objects, "You said that we would go to the amusement park!"

2B responds, "Oh, I didn't know you were so eager to go.".

"Yes, so let's get going RIGHT AWAY!"

"Ok!"
