That very night, Garen had a wonderful dream. It never happened for years now. He dreamt of being a kid, running around, playing tag with other children. Back then, he still was just a normal child, laughing, playing...

After classes they would go and play around the parks or stroll around the streets. There were times that classes haven't even ended and he would leave school early to play. There were some teachers that Garen didn't get along with and it is mostly because the teacher didn't have a good character. He'd get suspended along with Liliane.

Why with Liliane? What did she do? She was a good student but, she can't stand attending a bad teacher's class.

Liliane manifested as an omega 2 years earlier than Garen. Ever since she was marked as an omega, She was ostracized by many teachers. She was a good student but, she'd never let herself be oppressed. Many teachers called her rebellious.

"LILIANE FRAY. GET OUT." The teacher screams out loud, gasping after the end.

Liliane would not talk back. There was no need to retaliate. Her gaze was enough, it mirrors what it sees and it sees ugliness.

"Ma'am, you're a jerk." Garen would scoff and say out of tactlessness.

The teacher was furious. Her head glowing like a red tomato about to explode any minute but, it only took her seconds to actually explode in outburst.

Who could blame the child though? It can't lie. It was such an ugly sight to see a teacher degrading her very own student.

"GAREN RINE, OUT." She explodes in her anger.

The two children did so. They grabbed their backpacks and head out.

Normally, a child would wait outside the class but, they're already suspended so, the children really went out of the school grounds.

"You're stupid." Liliane says, staring at the boy with judgy eyes.

"That teacher was stupid." Garen says with a smug.

Liliane still thinks he was stupid but, she does agree to what the boy said.

"Are you heading home?" Garen asks.

"Yeah." Liliane responded.

Garen raised his eyebrows and smiled at the girl.

"At 1 PM?" Garen asked in a playful tone.

"The next two teachers are the same anyways." Liliane frowns.

"Let's play!" Garen excitedly says.

"HUH." Liliane was questioning this so strongly.

Play? WHAT PLAY??? Forget about play! Just the two of them??? HOW?

What ran in the young girl's thoughts were hide and seek and a game of tag. Those games??? Just the two of them??? Forget about running. Even if Garen was 'it' the ultimate ending would be Liliane being tagged as 'it' and unable to catch this guy. Hide and seek was also a big no. Where would they hide and seek??? Liliane thought.

"This is dumb." Liliane says, rolling her eyes.

She should just go straight home just like she always do. She was walking ahead when the boy joins her and started proposing ideas of what they could do.

"We could walk to the town and get some ice cream!"

"We could also play in the arcade!" The boy says excitedly.

"I don't have any money left." The girl rejected but, the boy simply beams with smiles.

"My treat!" The boy says.

Liliane looked troubled at first but then, she seemed excited when thinking of things she haven't done before. Play afterschool in the arcade and grab some ice cream? Technically, school was still not over but, who cares? they are already suspended so, it should count?

"Alright!" She says with a bright and beautiful smile.

The two walked to town and along the way, the two got to talk a lot with each other and get to know each other better.

It was a wonderful dream, reminiscing of sweet past. Alas, all dreams would eventually come to an end.

Garen woke up at his alarm. The boy has never been so excited to stand up from his bed until today. He made his bed, hurried to wash his face and brush his teeth. He changed to his uniform, placed his bracelet, and checked the time and it read [6:17AM]. Just as he was about to open the door of his room, he heard a clicking sound of an opening door. He opened his own to see Liliane. Eyes are a bit swollen. Well, both of them are.

"Good morning?..." The boy hesitated.

"Are... you okay?..." He asked with his face reflecting concern.

Garen can't help but worry for Liliane. As soon as he saw Liliane's beautiful eyes gone swollen, he felt stinging pain in his chest.

"I'm alright." The girl answers, slowly shifting her head away and facing down.

"Uhm... Would you like to go together at the cafeteria?" Garen asks. His voice was soft and careful.

Maybe he was too sensitive having to meet Lilianne after years but, he could surely sense the sweet smell of her pheromones, the scent of flowers and citrus. It was alluring that he could feel his heart beat slowly speeding up.

He quietly breathed deeply in and out, trying to control himself before the alarm on his bracelet gets ahead of him while in the presence of Liliane.

He want to make up to her? Firstly, he must contain the alpha within him. Whatever carnal desires, urges, etc. he must never show that side to her, ever. He must be careful to his pheromones, his actions, and his words.

"Your eyes are red..." The girl murmured softly.

Maybe it wasn't her intent to be heard and it was merely a slip out of her tongue but, Garen is surely attentive when it come to her.

"Yours too..."

Ack- "C.A.R.E.F.U.L." He changed a lot but, his tactlessness is now forever rooted to him. *Sigh* The girl already brushed this topic off earlier but, he brought it up once more.

"I mean---" The boy hurried to think of another subject.

Liliane frowns and Garen is turning nervous.

"I'm sorry, I upset you---"

"It's alright. Just. Shut up." Liliane says.

The boy felt so bad and Liliane saw those pitiful eyes of Garen, staring at her like a puppy that was scolded by its master. It looked to pitiful that Liliane felt bad somehow and she doesn't know why, which makes her filled with fury internally.

The girl sighs in helplessness. How dare Garen stare at her like a cute little puppy?!? She is so mad and frustrated towards her current situation.

"You were asking me to go together to the Cafeteria..." Liliane says and the boy's face was instantly filled with overflowing joy.

He grins and smiles warmly.

He is going to eat breakfast with Liliane!
