Elliott is my father

Sonya lay down again and close her eyes to try and get some sleep. Maxwell move closer to her and cover her. He looked at her eyes down to her nose and her mouth and swallow hard. He raise his hand and touched her face. His action made Sonya open her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"I just thought of another way to help relieve your pain" he said still staring at her deeply. Sonya felt nervous.

"What way?" Instead of replying her, he bend down over her and kissed her. He suck on her lips for a while and then he kissed her. Sonya closed her eyes. She slowly put her hand around him and responded.

Their kiss become very intense until Sonya felt another sharp pain in her stomach.

"ah" Sonya felt a very sharp pain in her tummy.

"do you really don't need to see a doctor' Maxwell said still holding her in her arm. Sonya could not reply him. She was in a lot of pain. She feels weak and close her eyes and tears fall.

"hey, are you sure you are good" Maxwell said again.

"I will be fine" she murmured. Sonya pain increase more and more tears fall.

"am calling in the nurse" he said as a matter of finality.

"he pick his phone and call Micheal to send in the nurse. After some minutes, the nurse knock on the door and Maxwell let her in.

"please check her" he said. The nurse observe her and touch her stomach. Sonya cry in pain the more.

"she is on her period, but I don't get why she is in so much pain. The nurse ask him to excuse them. Maxwell waited outside for sometimes before the nurse emerge from the room.

"she will be fine in about two hours" she said facing Maxwell.

"what caused it?" he asked.

"she must have been eating a lot of junk food, especially chocolate without eating something decent. And also, it seems she usually suffer extreme pain normally. This may be as a result of hereditary. She should abstain from eating anything that is not healthy and also stop eating chocolate. Its really bad for someone on her period" she explained and excuse herself to leave. Maxwell enter again to the room. Sonya opened her eyes slightly. "are you feeling better" he asked and sat next to her. She nodded her head yes.

"am feeling sleepy" she said closing her eyes.

"when you told me about your period before, I didn't know that you always go through a lot of pain like this." he said patting her head. He felt very bad because of her pain and wished he could take the pains. He start to help her rub her stomach. Sonya smiled and held his other hand to her chest and fall asleep. Maxwell waited for a while and tried to get up, but she held his hand firmly and he does not want to wake her up. He call Micheal to cancel every meeting or any other arrangement, then he remove his shoes and lay down next to her.

Sonya woke up and saw herself wrapped in maxwell's hand.She move her hand to his face and touch his ears, eyes lid, then she move her mouth to his mouth. She touch his lips.

"very handsome" she thought.

"looking at him very closely with his eyes closed. Its felt like she has seen him somewhere before she came to country x" she wonder how possible that is. The only time she came here before now is when Simon took her to celebrate for her birthday here she thought with her hand still on his face.

"do you like my face so much" Maxwell said as he opened his eyes. Sonya was startled and quickly withdraw her hand but Maxwell held her back.

"why? Are you feeling shy cause I caught you in the act" he said teasing her.

"how was your trip? I heard from Amy that you went on a business trip?" she said instead.

"it was good. How has been your exams? The nurse said you've only been eating junks. Is it hard?" Sonya didn't reply to his question.

"Amy also said you don't have any meeting with B&B company, but you told me we will be attending together" she asked. "you've not answered my question" there was a moment of silence between them.

"lets get something to eat, you must be hungry" he said instead and stood up. Sonya stood up with him.

"you can stay still. I will bring you something to eat" he said and motion for her to lay down.

"its really nothing. Am okay" she said and they both walk out of the room together. Micheal entered with their food.

"sir, can Amy and I get off work now if there is nothing more for us" he said after placing the food on the table.

"yes, you can leave" he reply and Micheal left the room.They both sat down and Sonya serve the food for both of them.

"why are you looking for information about B&B CEO?" he asked. "what are you talking about?" Sonya said pretending not to understand him.

"Your cousin has been gathering information on them and also you seems to want to meet their CEO badly" he answered.

"Is he by any chance your father? The one you told me about?" He asked.

"Let's eat first, then I will tell you" she reply.

"She has told him a lot about herself because she had thought that there is zero percent chance of them meeting. They both start to eat in silence. Sonya look at him again and felt that she has met him before but where is what she is not sure of.

"Have we met each other before?" She finally asked.

"Why do you think so? Do I look familiar?" He asked.

"Did she remember me from that day" he thought.

"Never mind, I must be mistaking" she reply and continue eating her food. There was silence as they both concentrated on their food. After eating they pack the table and clear it up.

"I will arrange for your meals and you must make sure not to eat any junk or snack till after your exams" he said after a while. "Okay sir" she reply playfully.

"Am used to not eating food except snacks when am writing exams. It's save time for me to read" she also said and they continue eating.

"Elliot is my father" she suddenly said after a while. Maxwell turn his face to her. "The CEO of B&B company?" He asked to be sure. "Yes, it's not like it's a secret so I will just tell you" she said and told him all about it.

"I actually came to country x to find him. For some reasons, I don't just believe that what happened then is that simple" she finished explaining.

"Thinking about it also, I don't think your mom just died like that. Is not that she is sick or something right?"

"She was very healthy and before I left for school that day, there was no sign or anything that is suspicious about her" she said bitterly.

"You must miss her a lot. Don't worry, I will help you with whatever it is that you need help with concerning it" he said. "Let's go, I will drop you off"

"you seems to know a lot about me" Sonya said and stood up. Maxwell smiled instead and they left the office together. After driving her home. He left and went back to the office.

Mr Elliot, welcome. The CEO is waiting for you in his office" Amy said as she escort Elliot and his assistant, Adam in.

"welcome" Maxwell said immediately he saw them enter and stood up from his seat to join them in the lower part of the office. They exchange greetings and sat down. Then Amy excuse herself and left the room
