Do you think I will kiss you?

Sonya entered the company with Charles and Blair rushed to them and hugged them.

"Welcome back!" she said excited.

"Since you guys have been away, am the only one taking care of everything no one is helping me at all" she complained bitterly. Sonya lean in and whisper to her ears.

"If anyone hears you, you will be in for it" Blair shrugged and they sat down to get to work.

"Sonya, Miss Katherine wants you in her office" someone called to her. Sonya nodded her head and stood up to her office. She came out in less than one minute and sat down. "Why did she call you" Charles asked.

"It's nothing" she said casually and continue working but she look really nervous.

The CEO is coming! Someone announced and everyone starts to arrange their desk. Most of the girls were retouching their make ups, Sonya quickly stood up and put on her name tag. Charles and Blair also.

"Mrs Katherine has told her to go see him just now but she lied about having a lot of work at hand. Who knew he would come to her department. Maxwell walk in with Michael following closely behind him. Mrs Katherine walk up to him and greeted him.

"What will you like me to do for you" she said politely. Michael face her and start talking to her.While Maxwell walk towards Sonya instead ignoring everyone's stare. Sonya moved backward as he approached her. Sonya tried to hide herself behind Charles. He still continued to walk to her, everyone look on and wondered what's going on. Sonya wished she could disappear from there, just then Maxwell changed his direction and leaves. Sonya sigh in relieve. She collapse on her chair,

"if he has really walk up to her, she did not know how she will explain it at all" she thought. Michael finished talking with Mrs Katherine and walk up to her.

"If you don't go up to see him now, he will come back and carry you to his office" he whispered.

"And remember to bring your phone along" Sonya nod at him and wait for him to leave before she pick her phone and follows. Ariana stomped her feet in anger but could do nothing about it. Instead she vent her anger on Charles and Blair.

Sonya and Michael got to the top floor. Sonya greeted Amy and she replied her with a smile. Michael indicate for her to enter the office and opened the door for her and she slipped in.

"thank goodness she is back! I thought I was going to faint anytime soon because of work" Amy said to Micheal.

"am sure you know that's more work for me" Michael said and walk away to his own office before she could reply.

"Jerk" Amy said and leave to make coffee.

Sonya entered and met Maxwell at the entrance waiting for her.

"Ah! you sacred me" she said startled.

"What are you doing at the door?" Maxwell snatch her phone from her hand and opened it.

"Wait, how do you know my password?" she said and struggled with him to collect back her phone. They both struggled with each other. Maxwell held her down with one of his hand. Sonya stopped struggling with him. Then he type in his number on her phone and calls it. The phone ring on his table then he handed over the phone back to her.

"Save my number." he said before releasing her.

"How was your trip?"

"How do you also know that?" she asked.

"Looks like you are trying to avoid me" he said not answering her question. Sonya didn't reply him. She was really trying to avoid him. There was silence between them.

"Mr CEO, don't you think you are going too far. What you did earlier was so not right. If you had really walk up to me, what you think everyone will think of me" Sonya suddenly burst out. "Why are you so confident that I was coming to you?" he replied nervelessly.

"Ahem...ahem" Sonya stammered. 'did she really get it wrong, she has said something wrong again" she thought and hit her head. Maxwell move close to her and hold her hand.

"I wanted to drag you along with me" he said again. Sonya raise her head up at him.

"he was really playing around with her" Sonya noticed Maxwell was staring at her lips and use her hands to cover her mouth. Maxwell smiled.

"Do you think I will kiss you?" he asked.

"Will he not?" she thought. Just then, he pulled her into his arms and hugged her.

"I missed you" he said. He then release her and left her there and went to sit on his seat.

"so do you get my message from Mrs Katherine?" he asked. Sonya move closer to him.

"are you really serious? Am still a student and have not even used a month here, but you want me to be a secretary?" she said not finding it funny.

"so you actually got my message and decide to ignore it" he said.

"no, I don't mean it like that" she try to explain. He pick the phone and called Amy in.

"sir, you called for me.

"Amy need an assistant cause I feel that the work she is doing alone is much. So am taking you as her assistant cause of your effort in being able to detect the error in the account" he finished and raise his head at Amy.

"or don't you need one" he asked her. Amy wonder what was going on but she knows best to agree with her boss and without hesitation, she nodded her profusely and answered yes. And just like that Sonya find herself becoming his assistant secretary.
